Pros

Intuitive, not too complicated, easy to customize.

Cons

There are some features that would make our recruitment process so much easier (i.e. if all my candidate submission notes populated in the candidate's activity profile, and not just the managers' profiles). One time Brightmove's templates didn't autopopulate names as it should have and send the wrong name to all the recipients. This is type of thing that I don't want to go wrong when I am using an automated ATS.

I love using Brightmove, it's so user-friendly and easy to organize information!

It is so easy for us to organize all of our client and candidate information so that unnecessary information isn't in the way of the specific things that I am working on!

Pros

I love that Brightmove allows me to put my jobs into a folder for just me, because I can find what I'm looking for very easily and go through my co-workers jobs if they need me to do something for them. I also really love how we can customize all of the templates that we need!

Cons

My least favorite thing is that after you rate a candidate, the page re-adjusts while loading so you might accidentally click on a resume that you didn't mean to click on.

Super easy DB to use, nice to use something that works well, easy to access, and super user friendly

Ease of use, access it anywhere.

Pros

That is not some choppy custom site that goes down all the time. I can access anywhere I am traveling or working, and has all the categories I need the sales team to fill out, so I have the info I need without tracking them down for one question.

Cons

Nothing I can think of at this time. I have had no problems accessing the system from any location I am working.

Pros

I like the dashboard features - and the job aggregator with Indeed, they have excellent customer service, and I also do like the new opportunities feature, which is a way of keeping track of prospects and jobs I am prospecting right on the client portal

Cons

the search feature, keywords, how to set up the search string, etc. I'd like to figure out a way to track the candidates in the pipeline;stages - perhaps it had to so with the way I set it up, I would like to see this and the data that can be instantly viewable on the dashboard

Pros

The power search options make it easy to narrow down what you're seeking. Since I help create and post the jobs, the templates provided also ensure that you don't miss the most crucial information in the job postings.

Cons

No cons that I've experienced. Is it possible that the software is too amazing? Honestly, the only issue I've had is the information sorted didn't stay that way when I switched from job posting to list again. My overall user experience is not tainted by this in the least.

Very easy to learn how to use their ATS and navigating through it is a painless process. Another huge benefit is that it feeds to Indeed!

Cons

Have some trouble with the application process. Some applicants have issues being able to complete the process via Indeed.

Pros

We have been using this for about 2 years, and its a great product, the people are friendly, and reply quickly with issues.

Cons

Some of the answers we get for questions or problems, are kind of "this is the way it is" answer, leaving a feeling of not being fixable in the future. now saying that, I have also seen things change for the better, afterwards with a patch.

I feel like BrightMove is very easy to use and a great tool! I was able to pick up quickly.

BrightMove has saved me time by posting positions on different sites, which is one less thing I have to do. The system is very easy to use and I have been very pleased with our candidate pool!

Pros

What I like most about BrightMove is the ease of use. I was able to learn the system very quickly and find it very valuable. We have identified some great candidates through the system. It has saved me time which a major plus!

Cons

Sometimes it runs a little slow and I have to wait a few seconds when clicking from candidate to candidate.

Most of it is really easy to use and understand. It's structure is very attractive to the eye which makes it fun to work with.

I believe there are improvement opportunities on the search options, as sometime is difficult to search for specific positions.

Excellent tool for sourcing & maintaing database. It is linked to Job boards like Monster & Career Builder, making it easy to source the profiles under one roof.

Cons

I do not see any Cons using this product. It is a friendly tool, nothing to be suggested.

Using BrightMove ATS for sourcing / recruiting functions, and account management functions

Pros - it is easy to access from multiple platforms, and has a nice interface Cons - it has a lot of down time, and the search functions are pretty terrible. Reporting is convoluted and takes a long time to download. Duplicate entries are plaguing us as a company - it doesn't have a great candidate / job / company duplicate monitoring system.

I appreciate the ease of sharing candidate information with my coworkers. Fast, simple, reliable information sharing has made our work measurably more efficient.

Cons

I do think that the customer care could be a little more responsive. On the rare occasions I've needed help, I found it a bit challenging to get my questions answered.

Pros

BrightMove helps me track multiple candidates easily through our company's lengthy process. easy to find candidates and move them to a different requisition and see all the activity for any candidate across multiple requisitions. Easy to filter out those that have been dispositioned and view only the candidates that are still active in the requisition. Easy to use and intuitive interface.

Cons

I have nothing for this category. Nothing I have found to be problematic.

Brightmove Review

I evaluated 67 ATS systems and narrowed it down to 6 based on 3 criteria; (1) ability to search paid job boards from within the ATS, (2) ability to access via mobile phone, and (3) the ability to keep contacts private. Brightmove was developed by a recruiter and the workflow allows the user to benefit from the structure but it's not so rigid that it makes using the system more difficult.

Pros

Brightmove is a complete CRM / ATS that is VERY easy to use. It is so easy to learn and pickup we didn't even have to hold formal training sessions. It has four key components (Clients, Contacts, Requirements and Applicants) as well as a dashboard, calendar, and reporting tools.

Cons

System lacks some minor features like user groups, saved searches (advanced), percent signs needed to search, limited fields in email templates, inability to search multiple JO status (open and hot and contingent), and an inability to import contacts from .csv, outlook, etc.

BrightMove is easy to use and intuitive, however it definitely works better on smaller, less complex accounts. If you are using brightmove for a single recruiter, or single recruiter per location it is great. However, it lacks basic functionality and reporting for more complex accounts. For example, we have an account that has 2 recruiters assigned to each location. There is no way for an individual...

Pros

The software is very user friendly. Even if you don't take the tutorial/training you can pick it up quickly.

Cons

If there is one thing I would like to see as an improvement is to keep the formatting of candidates resumes in MS Word. IF a candidate applies through a job board the resume is in text format which is 1: hard to read at times because of formatting issues and 2: we have to go back and ask the candidates to resend their resume directly to us in MS Word format.

Pros

It's simplicity...I try not to complicate recruiting and it's ATS. Brightmove does not assume I need graphs and charts and extra bells and whistles. They are there but I only use them if I want to.

Cons

Right now, cant find any. This is my second ATS and I found Sendouts to be too cumbersome
