I have used a number of recruiting systems this by far is the best. you can track workflow and analyze your performance. many items are customizable. very easy to use easy to input candidates, great search capabilities etc.
unlimited storage capacity, you can track email, send mass emails, email resumes directly to the system that are parsed by the system checked for duplicate candidates etc, customizable dashboard for individual users. automatic posting of job ads

It does what it needs to do, and it has many fields. By this I mean it allows you to track A LOT of data. However, it is not intuitive to use. When power searching anything, it feels awkward to apply the filters. Also the system commonly has "glitches". For example, today I added a new job, and it added 3 of the same position and really confused the recruiters.

I've never encountered this before, and I'm sure we can figure it out together, and prevent future occurrences. We encourage any feedback you may have for our search functionality. It is a very powerful tool, and may seem a bit unwieldy when setting up very detailed searches.

It does everything! So many of the vendors we looked at during our evaluation had 60 or 70 percent of what we needed in our next ATS and brightmove not only had 100% of what we were looking for but several features we had either not considered or had not seen before in any other ATS.
I honestly can't think of anything. Ok, here is one...It can't find me a better coffee service for the break room! Lol...It probably can do it but we haven't figured it out yet.

PROS: BrightMove works diligently to produce results integrated in one place. SourceJet is a brilliant feature bringing you third-party sites such as Monster, CareerBuilder, etc into one place. CONS: The ability of Parsing candidates needs to have a better algorithm of identifying duplicate candidates based on resume pasting. This can create an abundant of duplicate candidates without considering...

ability to see what the team has done with candidates. we are able to work as a team to accomplish our recruiting goals.
it is a bit tedious to complete some of the tasks. it involves a lot of clicks to decline a candidate who is not suitable.

I appreciate the customer service most. The "Chat" team is quick to respond and answer and questions/issues that I have.
The reporting abilities and I wished that candidate communications were recorded in the activity section of the candidate not just the respective manager.

This is a very easy to follow and learn software to organize and provide a better system to staffing agencies.
It has been great to work with both the people and reps but we definitely got the value for what we paid for and that is by far the best feeling. The only issue I can point out is that sometimes it can get real slow and often freezes our computer.

Working for a national Recruitment Firm, I have used many different ATS systems over the past few years. Brightmove is my personal favorite. I enjoy the simplicity of navigating my candidates through their dispositions, and having the flexibility to edit sections. Reporting functions are simple and beneficial as well. Customer Service response time could use some improvement.

Quick response by vendor, strong and flexible product, meets our needs and then some.
Internal search capacity is more complicated than it has to be. Recommend making an internal search much more user friendly without having to have a training session.

The only other Applicant Tracking Software that I could compared to was an ATS that was in development. Contacting customer support is very easy--I'm usually one click away (chat). There are some things I think would make the overall ATS easier, but it's nothing major.
The ease of use and accessible customer support
You may have go through a couple hoops to get to the things you want.

BrightMove is solid recruiting software at a great price. Parsing works very well. CRM and Applicant Tracking System works very well.
It is easy to get caught up in trying to customize too much and then it robs you of productivity. Can't see employees at each stage of the pipeline at once.

I like using this applicant tracking system best because it allows you to manage your candidates in your own unique way. They allow us to customize for each client's different needs and process.
It takes some time to figure out how you want to use the system (so many different ways to get the same thing) but once you settle into your rhythm it becomes easy.

Ease of moving candidates through the process from acquisition to placement. UI is friendly.
I would add the functionality of parsing multiple candidates into the system at the same time. Often we'll receive a candidate list from a career fair with 300-500 candidates. As far as I know, the only way to parse them into the ADP is to do one email or one upload at a time.

so easy to use. its hard to accidentally mess up something in this system. the log tracks every move you make in each candidate
The thing that I dislike about this system is the fact to revert back to a status you need to go through all your status' to get them into a previous status.

Pros: Easiness of searching candidates, a great way to keep all candidates together, a useful recruiting tool. Cons: I wish it could take information from the resume and enter it in automatically, example it could add in address and phone number.

Hi Savannah, Thank you for the review. Regarding your desire for BrightMove to parse address and phone number data from a resume... this is built into the product. There are several ways to do this. We even have tools to grab this type of data from various sources on the web, social media, etc... Support will be very happy to help you out with this.

I love the we can keep all of our candidates organized in one place. It is so easy to pull up all of their information.
The only real complaint is that sometimes it glitches. Sometimes when I search a candidate it will not come up when I know for a fact they are in the systems. Also, it doesn't always catch duplicate accounts.

The thing I like best about BrightMove is the ease of use. It is a very user friendly product and is easy to navigate while speaking with candidates.
The thing I like the least about BrightMove as a whole is the reporting Capability. It would also be helpful if statuses could be altered (e.g. move out of a hire status)
