Chronus has been phenomenal through the entire process of securing the agreement to launching our programs. Staff is professional, friendly, and always available to answer questions.
The Chronus software is fantastic. It is intuitive and keeps the entire mentoring relationship in one central location making it so easy for administrators to stay abreast on the status of relationships and respond to inquiries.
I don't know that I would label this a con, but rather a preference for the ability to set-up programs with specific start and end dates verses the number of weeks or days. Also, many of the auto emails are set to send based on the number of weeks/days since the mentoring connection was made and, again, it would be nice if these communications could be scheduled for a specific date so that everyone in the program receives communications on the same day.

I joined the program leadership later on, but so far it's really been a smooth experience and our practice area is definitely on track to expand the offering to more folks.
Pretty easy to customize, communicate with participants, see data at a glance, and, of course, pair mentees with mentors. Chronus team is responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and patient with questions.
Support site is a little clunky and I've struggled to find what I'm looking for at times in the keyword search.

I appreciate that not only is the software fully customizable with lots of feature options, but that I have regular contact with customer support to help implement and take advantage of all Chronus has to offer. It saves so much time as an admin to have a an expert from Chronus essentially a member of our team.
The look and feel of the software is relatively basic.

Very positive.
We had a relatively seamless configuration and deployment with Chronus. Our UAT results were very strong with high user-friendliness and intuitiveness. We are at the early days of our deployment and getting good traction.
Admin work was quite heavy during the configuration as we've changed significant amount of wording and flow to fit our needs and culture. I thought that the admin work could have been easier with more support and clarity from the Chronus team.

The platform is user friendly and the analytics are really powerful. The support received from the Customer Success team is very impressive. Our customer success rep is very responsive, detail oriented and a true expert on the software and capabilities.
A few challenges with integration to other products but likely more on our end than Chronus.

Overall, Chronus has been helpful in creating a learning culture for our business. I just wish there was a way to incorporate the application into employees' everyday tool kit so it is used more often (currently it's used once then mostly forgotten). I do realize that mentoring isn't a constant thing employees seek, so it's nice to know we have a tool in place to address their need when it arises.
My team and I enjoy how customizable the tool is and how helpful Chronus's Customer Success Managers have been in making sure we succeed with the system.
The software is a bit clunky. As an admin it can be difficult finding the right field/feature as there are several areas to look. Also, the matching algorithm seems a bit off.

How easy it is to manage programs without a lot of effort on the admin side.
There is limited ability to adjust functions yourself. When you need to adjust parameters for matching, or matching priorities, it all has to be done through the chronus partner.

Using Chronus helped us create a mentoring program with minimal staff support. Our team at Chronus is always available to answer questions about the software and help think through processes for our program. It is a true pleasure to work with great partners!
I like that students and mentors can use this as a tool to connect and that it provides opportunities to include custom training and resources. I appreciate the ability to collect data and metrics easily!
I would like the ability to pull data points more easily.

Pros - The program is just the right size for a business that wants to take a proactive approach to employee development and new employee onboarding. Ease of use - The template is very good, but we customized it to perfectly fit our needs for both employee development/coaching and onboarding. We explored larger vendors but we found the solutions that Chronus had to offer were ideal for a business...

Exceptional
The Chronus team has gone way beyond expectations with their assistance in making this program work for our membership. We've got the unusual issue of many more mentors than mentees and they've given their time and offered creative ideas to help marketing and boost numbers.
They don't offer a custom mobile application for our users.

Customer service, implementation, and customer success manager POC's were top notch. My overall experience with the circle functionality itself is just that it doesn't have a lot of functions that encourage participating.
I really like the idea behind the circles functionality, it is a standalone place that offers alike-minded group of people to come together for discussions
It feels as though it's just another slack channel, or Facebook page. You have discussion boards, but there isn't a lot of other stuff behind that one piece of functionality that encourages others to continue to be active on the site.

Chronus continue to provide new functionality and features which makes it easy to use, I especially found the software amazing 👍.
The software virtual conference features has been huge added bonus specially during the pandemic social distancing.

Overall, it has been a pleasure using the Chronus software and working with the extremely helpful and attentive staff.
There is a lot the software can do with a fair amount of pre-built as well as customizable options depending on what you are looking for.
It is not always the most intuitive platform, but there is usually a way to accomplish what you are trying to do. It just may take a few tries to figure out how to get there.

Great service overall. The support team really makes the product excel
The total package of the mentorship software and the great customer support from Chronus.
As a global administrator, I often feel as if I have to run everything past Chronus to implement even minor changes. I understand this has a lot to do with making sure that the service functions properly across all programs, but being a middleman between local admins can feel frustrating for seemingly quick changes.

Clean, simple interface. Easy to use & access. The UX/UI are very good. And the level of support from the Chronus team during implementation was exceptional.
Very expensive for what it is. It's certainly best in class, but it's hard to justify this kind of hit on the budget for a matching software. The biggest technical complaint is that emails about new meeting appointments come from a random Scheduling Assistant email or something like that which is not helpful & leads to these emails getting ignored. There are a few areas where it's not exactly user friendly (i.e. selecting what is surfaced to the profile summary requires many clicks). Thankfully this is mostly on the admin side, not the end use side, but still could use improvement.

Our first round of mentoring concluded in August and we would not have received as great of results as we did without Chronus and their team. The portal is extremely user friendly and guided our team through an effective and useful experience. The team at Chronus is always prepared and quick to give replies on any questions we might have had along the way. We are extremely appreciative of the support they have offered us through our first company mentoring program and are currently ramping up our second round beginning this month.

Ease of use and communication with vendor
eMentorConnect has made us feel part of the process from the beginning and has delivered to accelerate the growth of my team, our vision and culture. Although they are a small company, they work very hard to accommodate you where you are and build an individualized program to meet the needs of the moment. The feedback from myself and my team has been overwhelmingly positive and we've made great progress thanks to their customization and follow through.

The ease of use enabled me to hit the ground running. As I have progressed with my mentees they have also found the tools useful and easy to access.
It would be helpful if the software was more intuitive to my growth as a mentor. I do not feel limited at the early stages, but there is room for improvement as I progress in aptitude.

Impressed with the functionality and consideration of how people actually work. Provides flexibility without being confusing.
If a company does not implement right (like Yammer or anything else), it will not work. Would be best integrated into the feedback platform if possible.
