Still Learning
Self Service Functionality. Once implementation is finished and issues resolved, I am going to love it. Ease of finding functions.
Tickets take a long time to be answered, and when we update info, all of the sudden entries we did not do appear. Calculating payroll takes an eternity. I am still not able to Commit as I cannot do Audits. The perils of implementation.

The opportunity to customize the modules and forms are amazing in the recruiting feature and make for a one of a kind experience.
It is a forward moving product. They are constantly improving and it is a lot to digest.

Generally speaking, the Dayforce product features a pleasant professional looking user interface the is quite intuitive. The single user interface and single client record allows for less time in the system, and more importantly, the ability to run nearly endless metrics for strategic planning. The system is quite robust and offers a full set of features where most competitors lack a full feature set. When you sign up as a new customer, the customer support, training, and networking with other Dayforce customers is fantastic. Overall, the products sets the bar for industry standard.
Dayforce provides a single user interface and a single client record. Many products have multiple records that impact the flow of data point. The Dayforce single record supports advanced metrics for strategic planning.
There learning of the product is extensive. This is initially a con, however, the learning and networking opportunities are vast.

Overall, I think it’s improved our efficiencies not just out in the field (time entry) but with our efficiencies in processing payroll.
I absolutely love that you’re working in real time! And Team Realate is AMAZING!

The ease of use with Dayforce has been dependent on how well our legacy information has come over during implementation and the learning of the users. My biggest hurdle has been that with HR/PR SQL, I knew everything and how to fix it, this has been a steep learning curve for me.
The integration between HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance and Benefits is the main reason we went with Dayforce. It gave us an all inclusive solution to our needs
The reliance on Silverlight has been the main drawback, but that is going away soon. The other issue has been a latency issue for our satellite users; the time to load IE has been a problem but the ability to use Chrome has helped.

Implementation was a beast - allow yourselves more time or have more than 2 internal SMEs for the modules.Now that we are in there, it's great! Biggest complaint is customer service & the tax department.
Everything is in 1 place with only 1 log in - big improvement from before. Still in the learning curve, but everyone is warming up to it.
Reporting - you need a degree with xml to get it to the data presented how you want it.Customer service & Project Management - No one person to contact with a quick question & only allowed to call in if it is a severe question. It feels like their internal teams don't talk to each other (multiple SRSs for the same project with no notes or visibility). Tax questions can take 70+ days to get an acknowledgement... I understand everyone is understaffed but we are paying a premium to have our taxes handled & some continue to accrue penalties & interest due to a lack of response & ease of finding the information ourselves.

Dayforce is the first HCM program I have used and I love it. I will continue to learn and grow with it. All of the updates we have received have brought great changes to our system.
I love the forgiveness I get with Dayforce to correct things instead of having to reach out to a third party. It allows me to make mistakes and learn from it. The customization Ceridian offers is also one of my favorite things!
I wish Learning could be more intuitive with quality of life updates for the admins.

Very happy so far.
I use Dayforce daily and I find it user friendly and easy to navigate through the system. I use it to check scheduling, payroll, work benefits, learning, and set work goals.
So far I have been using Dayforce for over 6 months and I have not come across a down side as yet that has been a setback and delayed my time or work.

I was able to turn over benefits to the benefits manager. This has freed up much needed time for me and enriched her job in a positive way. Payroll is much less administratively cumbersome. Payroll staff can focus on enhancements. Overall there has been an improvement in job satisfaction with a shift to focusing on change management.
Learning curve for some has been challenging for some. Recruiting is not robust enough to work for us.

Overall I do think Dayforce is an easy product to use. It's simple to set up and intuitive.
I love the learning management feature. It was easy to set up and very easy to use. There are a few things here and there I would change, but that's the case with any system.
I think the reporting could be improved. There's plenty that works, but not every single area of the system is reportable which I've found to be a problem.
