Erecruit overview

What is Erecruit?

Erecruit by Bullhorn is an enterprise staffing software designed for large staffing firms that deal with contract, temporary, and direct hires across multiple verticals. The solution combines sales, customer relationship management (CRM), and recruiting capabilities, and offers modules for front office, middle office, vendors, and onboarding management.

Erecruit offers extensive front office management capabilities that can be managed through an intuitive administrative control panel. Users are assigned a specific login that allows them to customize their workflow and edit data directly on reports. The system includes a CRM that contains functionality for pipeline management and sales forecasting, with alerts that allow for employees to follow up on their leads quickly. Resume sourcing and parsing allow for candidates to be quickly found and entered into the CRM.

Erecruit's middle office module helps businesses keep track of time and expenses, and allows agencies to offer a portal with self-service tools to help clients and candidates interact. The system offers billing and invoicing, payroll management, and management of employee commissions. Dynamic reporting and analytics provides insight into how the business is performing.

The vendor management system supports vendor neutral and master business models and can handle large pools of vendors as well as specific client requirements. Candidate portals allow the entering of time and expenses while the client portal allows the management of these candidate expenses. Vendor portals are also offered that enable job management and candidate tracking.

Pros
It's usefulness. The reason we bought the software and what we can use it for is great. It really allows us to get our job done efficiently.

Cons
The navigation sometimes can be difficult. Moving from one task to another is sometimes slowed down because of this which can be very frustrating.

Software for full life cycle from recruiting to account management

If you take the time to learn the entirety of erecruit, it can be a great tool, especially for larger companies which need a great deal of tracking with account management. The unfortunate part about this software is that it seems to have been written from an account management point of view rather than a recruiting point of view, so a lot of the recruiting activities can be time consuming. Once the system is fully understood, steps can be taken to limit some of that time, but it can be difficult for some users to learn.

Pros
The sheer volume of information that can be input into the system is huge. This system is very geared towards account management and recruiting working together.

Cons
The software can be difficult and cumbersome for some to understand and learn. The search fields are not easy to use and nothing is quick without full knowledge of the software.

Robust Recruiter Management Software

Pros
There are a LOT of options and features in this system. The workflow is very easy to follow and learn. It is semi-customizable but will require a lot of back end work.

Cons
Search features are often confusing and there is often too much clutter/too many fields to fill in and be concerned about. We often leave a majority blank. I wish we could search by phone number as well as name/email.

Works OK enough, but make sure to shop around

Pros
This program does what it is intended to do and has allowed us to market recruits, post jobs, do screening and assessments, and keep all of our recruitment files in one place. Unfortunately there are more cons that make this program difficult to use which I will discuss below.

Cons
This program can be mind numbingly slow at times where we find it is easier to force close the program and restart it in order to get it running again. The user interface seems outdated and is very slow to respond at times. We run into an issue where having too many options can be confusing for some people on our team and sometimes wish things were a little more simplified. This program does what it says it does, but you may want to shop around before making your purchase.

Good through constant improvement

This software allowed the company to almost instantly distribute a recruiting software solution to all employees. The learning curve was worth it.

Pros
The customer support provided to update this software on demand was extensive. This allowed us to consistently improve the experience of recruiters, finance team, and management through several various channels.

Cons
I do not like the clutter of everything. I feel that the user interface and the way options and actions are organized impedes the user experience. I'm not sure how or what would change, but user friendliness in terms of terminology of options and easy maneuverability are a good start.
