As mentioned above, FinancialForce HCM takes advantage of the social tool, Chatter, to exchange information. From within a Chatter feed, users can see embedded human resources pieces. For example, if an employee has a time-off request, then that request will appear in the Chatter feed once it has been approved by a manager.
Each employee should have his or her own Chatter profile. On that profile, you’ll see a list of posts. You can share what you’re currently working on through this page, and upload files or documents to distribute with your team. Colleagues can comment on or “like” the posts you add to Chatter as well.

Organizations can integrate FinancialForce HCM with major social media platforms. This allows employees to push links to job postings to their social media connections. FinancialForce HCM also integrates with Work.com, which is Salesforce.com’s performance management application.
