Complete HR Solution for SMB from Hire to Retire
3.14/5 (11 reviews)FinancialForce HCM includes a built-in applicant tracking system that is completely unified with the rest of the HCM system. Recruiters are able to actively interact with candidates through tens of thousands of job boards and career sites but can also take advantage of their employees’ social networks. All job postings can be cascaded to LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook, reaching candidates who may not be actively looking at your company. All referrals are linked to the original referrer so that the employee can receive thank you gifts or referral bonuses. Once a candidate has successfully completed the application and interview process, FinancialForce HCM generates a job offer letter that can be signed electronically and when completed, their candidate records are automatically brought into the HCM system.
Users can review the status of any applicant from within the recruiting module, or click on the title of an available position to see the current status. From one main page, you’ll be able to see how many job applicants have been interviewed and how many job offers have been sent out. You can also see the average rating of each applicant based on feedback entered into the FinancialForce HCM system.

As mentioned above, FinancialForce HCM takes advantage of the social tool, Chatter, to exchange information. From within a Chatter feed, users can see embedded human resources pieces. For example, if an employee has a time-off request, then that request will appear in the Chatter feed once it has been approved by a manager.
Each employee should have his or her own Chatter profile. On that profile, you’ll see a list of posts. You can share what you’re currently working on through this page, and upload files or documents to distribute with your team. Colleagues can comment on or “like” the posts you add to Chatter as well.

What professional goals do you hope to accomplish this month or this year? With FinancialForce HCM, employees can set personal goals and team goals. Using the social capabilities of the module, employees can ask others to help achieve those goals, which are tracked against each user’s progress toward accomplishing those goals.
Click on the “My Goals” tab to open up a list of your personal goals. You can create a new goal by clicking “New Goal,” and quickly see how many goals you’ve accomplished so far this year. By working with a manager or supervisor, you should be able to create personal goals that align with the larger objectives of your department or organization.

One of the easiest ways to manage a workforce and reduce labor costs is by monitoring employee time and attendance. FinancialForce HCM offers a time and attendance module that automates the process. Timesheets allow employees to record time against work, while FinancialForce HCM’s Easy Clocking system captures data and feeds timesheets through an API.
Ask employees to start punching in and out of work with FinancialForce HCM, making sure to enter the earning code, project and assignments they were working on (when applicable) each day. FinancialForce HCM can record time against locations and work, which ensures accountability and helps larger organizations avoid compliance-related issues.

Excellent analysis tools and integration with Excel supports our multiple reporting and wider organisational needs.
Pros
Web based allows field and UK staff to work in real time on the same data.
Cons
We are an NGO, and our requirements are only for General Ledger, so I cannot comment on the pros and cons of the full system. We also use SalesForce; which is a pre-requisite to gain some of the benefits above.

If you are a Salesforce user this is an excellent integrated solution. Sales and finance share the same information. With Financial Force we look at the business financially the same way we look at it operationally.
Pros
Web based, integrated with Salesforce, easy to set up, easy to configure, easy to maintain, always up to date, great support
Cons
Reporting is based on standard Salesforce reporting so whilst extremely powerful is non standard for finance- though a product to resolve this is currently in development.
