KidKare

Reviewed 3 years ago

Very good product and company. I’m not sure the recent pay increase was warranted though. Nothing new so not sure why the price went up. Our county agency mentioned this at a meeting.

Pros

I love the ease of use after you use it for a bit. You do have remember the exact name of the forms you need to print etc... overall very basic and easy to learn. Lots of video to explain as well. Customer service has grown greatly. I think their customer grew so rapidly they got overwhelmed in the beginning. Doing great now.

Cons

I wish their was a better defined drop drown list for files you need to copy each month for your own records. I’m still clicking around finding the forms. It’s prob just me but it can take a minute.

Food Ease

Reviewed 4 years ago

This program has saved me time from the old bubble sheets and also the time and cost of snail mailing everything into the sponsors.

Pros

It is easy to use. If you are missing a component on a page it won't let you save and continue until you figure it out. You can also do reports and correct any errors before it is sent to your sponsor. It also helps identify foods you should/should not be serving. Also, aids in serving sizes.

Cons

Sometimes when you hit a name or number the program jumps the screen causing you to have to scroll more than necessary.

Efficient and Easy to use

Reviewed 4 years ago

It has been a great thing to be able to get a check each month to offset the food costs involved in a home childcare setting. I feel I can afford to purchase higher quality foods knowing that I have the extra money to cover the cost.

Pros

I like the ease of navigating the KidKare site. I really like to be able to view and run several of the reports available and print some of them off for ease of record keeping. Kudos to the software writers of KidKare!

Cons

I really can't think of anything I do not like about this software.

KidKare

Reviewed 4 years ago

KidKare is a great value for the cost. It is the most cost effective daycare software out there and it does have most features that a daycare would be looking for.

Pros

Kidkare is simple to use and figure out. It serves the purpose for what daycares need to track. It can be redundant when entering meals, however, it does work.

Cons

The accounting feature is a little outdated in the interface. It doesn't allow for two entries in a row on the same date, so you either have to change the date or back out and go back into the accounting feature you are trying to use.

KidKare Review

Reviewed 3 years ago

I am able to track attendance and food served sufficiently.

Pros

The payment process is simplified. Worrying about writing or running out of checks is in the past. Don't forget the interface is easy to use too. I like that this software works on mobile devices really well.

Cons

There is a $1 fee per invoice I have to pay on the site. It's a small price to pay for convenience.

Simple and easy to use!

Reviewed 2 years ago

So far I had a good experience with this software. Its simple and easy to use.

Pros

Its very simple and easy to use software. Pricing is reasonable too. The app works well and doesn't require to enter login credentials each time. Its very convenient and time saving!

Cons

It can rearrange the list either alphabetically, or date of birth, or the created date. Can be made more user friendly. It often has technical issues and takes time to load. A couple of times caused error, which delayed the payment.

I use it for tracking my food program meals

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

I like how easy it is to log children in and out every day, but quite honestly, that is about it. MinuteMenu was so much better.

Cons

Kidkare is awful. Their customer service is terrible. They have had numerous accounting outages, and have cost family childcare providers a lot of money.

Theres unique features buried in!

Reviewed 4 years ago

KidCare is a niche service, a bit expensive but isnt it always about you get what you pay for!

Pros

They have an excellent Food Program management system! Just what a client needed.

Cons

Their dashboard is quite generic, I wish we could white label it too.
