This is now my second company as Head of HR using Lattice. The tool improves tremendously over time while maintaining the same look and no major learning curve with each "version" released. I'm also lucky to benefit from the Resources For Humans website and Slack channel they've created for HR professionals. I like the ease of use of Lattice and the UI/UX. I feel like it's a product everyone can easily navigate and learn. We can see more insights into how our team feels, performs, and functions. It's been a great tool for us. Our marketing team has stated that Lattice is a brand they look to as a leader in overall branding strategy, the look of the tool, and subsequent marketing collateral.
I don't think I like anything "least" but there's always room for improvement and new features. I think at times the product roadmap leans heavily into areas we aren't currently using or that fit us. That's the only small con I can call out, it's pretty smooth sailing. When there is a release on tools we're using, it's usually so beneficial and is exciting.

Additionally, we would love to see continued development in tying different components together to create more complete talent profiles. The platform’s comprehensive features are great, but more seamless integration would enhance our ability to get a holistic view of each employee. Despite these minor issues, Lattice remains a powerful tool for performance management and employee engagement.

Lattice was a brilliant tool for us as a fast growing startup operationalising so many of the critical people operations initiatives. It is unfortunate that they didn't implement the HRIS quicker to stop us churning to consolidate our stack.
We chose Lattice because of the fantastic integration Lattice had with Slack. Lattice pulse surveys were delivered via slack making this extremely easy for employees to respond to and engagement. As soon as we implemented, our participation exploded and the team were thankful. Lattice UI/UX was brilliant and we also particularly liked their 1 on 1 feature powering high quality 1 on 1s across the business.
Unfortunately, Lattice was only performance management and we really wanted to consolidate our tools into a more vertically integrated stack. Lattice didn't have an HRIS capability at the time which meant we needed to continue using BambooHR and this added cost and complexity to our people stack at the time. They also had a very limited response capability to pulse which is something we really missed after moving from Officevibe.

I highly recommend lattice for an org of any size. For our org (under 200) it's taking away a lot of the manual work that we would have had to do without it. The implementation is relatively hands off, so it hasn't been too much of a strain on our small HR team.
The best thing we've experienced so far is the customer support. Best i've had had with an HR platform! Our dedicated support rep is available (with a back up) for as many demos or trainings as we need for our HR staff, leadership, or managers. They also have a chat feature for quick questions! As for the tool itself - really great performance management system. We also use their engagement survey...
We preferred the engagement survey function in culture amp, but only slightly. Lattice does the trick, but is some functionality from culture amp that we miss (assessing how important certain factors are, better ability to sort departments within the system and not just as an integration/data flow from HRIS, customization, making changes after the survey out - to name a few.) The questions are very applicable though.

The overall experience has been awesome and the software has taken a small internal desire to implement better goals tracking and a more automated approach to 1:1 and reviews in general and it's accomplished that and more almost by osmosis. Just having the software put us in a better position to implement a process for each. The software itself is extremely approachable and simple but allows for a ton of flexibility in implementation and use allowing it to serve as much more than a simple, once yearly applicated software driven proecss around performance reviews int he traditional sense.
The simplicity of use and flexibility in terms of custom use and application of different modules within the software. We approached this software with a process plan and goal structure in mind and Lattice was very resilient to it's implementation digitally as well as provided further insight into what better avenues there are and why. The Customer Sucess team is great with approaching additional product development endeavors through their support desk. Multiple times have been asked and seen functionality sought implemented in successive software updates
Need to create better functionality around dual management (having co-leads/co-managers of teams) and their ability to review and provide feedback. It's too common to not be supported. Implementation and onboarding of the system was definitely one of the better experiences we've had although there could be more common touchpoints after the first review process to ensure for optimization and process improvement. Things have been a bit more "set it and forget it" after being transitioned off our Onboarding Success Manager although the Customer Success team accessible from the Intercom system has been more than helpful in the absence.

Lattice has been a great tool for our company to eliminate the use of many spreadsheets saved in a million different places. It allows managers and employees to manage the entire employee experience in one place. We have enjoyed implementing this for our company.
I love that all parts of employee engagment are tied up in one fairly easy to use platform. From engagement surveys, to 360 feedback, performance management, one on ones, employee recognition, goals/OKRs, and employee growth plans. Lattice is able to fit all of these into one platform which makes employees, managers, and executives jobs simpler to manage!
The interface is not always intuitive to use. Employees are constantly asking how to get places or how to do certain things. As an administrator I am often left unsure how to tell employees how to do things as they show up differently on the admin dashboard from the employee dashboard. The analytics on pulse surveys is not great either. It makes actionable steps from feedback difficult to find.

Great! We love it and look forward to adding more functionality into Lattice especially focused on HRIS.
Goal management is easy. Performance management is fast and effective. 1:1 functionality is great. Grow module makes it easy to find what is next for our team members.
Some reporting aspects of OKRs. I have to export it into Excel and filter it to get the information I need. Feedback and recognition seem to be a bit more subdued than they could be. Challenges with different exchange rates broke our merit cycle. We had to calculate this outside of Lattice. I cannot wait to have group meeting functionality that mimics 1:1s.

It seems there are several useful tools available to both supervisors and direct reports on Lattice, but it's unclear, at least at first glance, exactly what all these tools are, or how to best use them. Because of this, my company mainly only uses Lattice for performance review purposes. Perhaps more time spent watching tutorial videos could help us to better understand the other uses for Lattice, but I can't say the product as is fosters an immediate understanding of the full capability of the software.
Lattice is an excellent tool when it comes to issuing and completing performance reviews within a given company. Within my company specifically, department heads and supervisors are able to easily issue a set of questions to their direct reports with ease, choosing either a written or number-based response option for each question. The user interface is a bit confusing, in that it's not immediately clear what each tab on the Web sidebar does, or what information it contains. When you navigate to the "People" tab, you're able to view individual people, teams, and the full company, as well as milestones, company updates, and OKRs. But there is also another separate tab for OKRs available in the sidebar. The organization of the interface seems that it could certainly be a bit more streamlined, and clear, and perhaps explanations of what each tab is for and how to use it could enable users to better utilize its tools.

Lattice's tool is great, customizable, and enables the business. Lattice also has REALLY STRONG customer service. I'm also a member of Lattice's Resources for Humans community, which is a fantastic asset of all things People Ops best practice sharing. Lattice's annual Resources for Humans virtual event is also TOP NOTCH.

Some users will need training to use Lattice effectively. Otherwise it is great.

Overall it has been great, it takes a good year, and reminders, to get staff and managers to utilize the tools it offers. But once they start using the system they enjoy and get value from it. This was particularly obvious during review periods where a lot of the needed information was already available in the goals and one-on-one meetings.

There have been a few custom reports or tweaks that would be nice. Lattice is linked directly to our HRIS and we can not make changes in Lattice that are not in the HRIS - Example, if we wanted a person to be a shared manager or supervisor in Lattice, but did not want to make that change in HRIS.

I like modern and sleek look of Lattice and how many different features they have. It's really useful to be able to add on the features and I know Lattice is always creating more. The thing I LOVE the most about Lattice is their customer support options. They have sooo many useful tutorials and the chat support is always available and incredibly fast and helpful.
Lattice has a ton of functionality but occasionally I find moments where they are missing features I find basic like dates appearing in the performance review packets or ability to mass download data.

I like that this software is essentially a one-stop-shop for company-wide as well as individual performance management. It consolidates information and eliminates the need for multiple systems or individual files/spreadsheets. For goal setting, I really like how Lattice allows for transparency and collaboration.
My company uses Lattice extensively for company-wide OKR planning/tracking as well as individual employee goal setting. Lots of customizable features (e.g. can make goals visible to entire company, private to certain teams, or private to individuals). Great tool for capturing performance reviews and peer/360 feedback. Loved the level of automation and reminder emails. The software can also hep with preparing for and capturing conversations during 1x1 meetings with direct reports. Lastly, I thought the "pulse surveys" were a cool feature.
Sometimes the user interface can be a bit clunky; requires multiple clicks to get to where you want; next steps/where to click next are not always intuitive.

As an employee I feel indifferent about the platform and I am confused why we don't use an HR platform with integrated feedback function (probably because the HR platform we use doesn't provide the functionality Lattice provides?). I don't mind not using it but I don't hate it most of the time.
As an employee I have found Lattice to be performing ok for quarterly reviews that we conduct. The interface is easy enough for us to select reviewers, write reviews, and receive feedback. We used the built-in Peoplism survey to conduct an DEIB survey and the reporting is great. I found it easy to understand the results and drill down where needed.
1. when I am on the homepage I am often lost in trying to understand where I am supposed to go to complete the task (though the recent update on the homepage for ongoing tasks helps a ton).2. It's probably just my employer, but I feel like we are not using Lattice to its full potential. The only things we ever use are the reviews, vibe surveys, pulse surveys, and very rarely custom surveys targeting specific topics. The feedback and OKR function are rarely touched and only recently did we start using 1-1s. 3. We want to be choosing the reviewers for our next review cycle at an ongoing basis, and the opening and closing windows do not facilitate this process.

That you cannot talk to anyone when you have an issue. It is hard to try and explain and issue in an email. Recently had to send 15 emails to get a situation fixed.

Overall Lattice is a great tool to ensure you are feeling fulfilled and committing yourself to professional growth. Our company uses this in every department and I think most employees appreciate that the firm is committed to helping employees progress toward personal, professional, and lifestyle goals.
I really like knowing where my performance is at and where there's room to improve/grow. It's easy to keep ongoing 1 on 1 conversation with my manager tracked and managed in the system. I also really appreciate the opportunity to set personal goals that align with team initiatives and to reflect on past goals to see how I am progressing. We use the system for personal goals, team goals, and OKRs, and for career development! It's simple to use and effective when the entire team buys into using the tools.
There is a lot of functionality, so it could be confusing to some users at first. At our firm the People Mgmt team had built out how-to guides and walkthroughs on how to optimize our individual profiles. Lattice also has a lot of documentation, so you'll be able to learn even if you feel confused or stuck with the various features/functionality of the system.

Lattice creates a great user experience for both employees and administrators. It's easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and makes performance management tasks more efficient.
Lattice still lacks some features that would be helpful to my team, such as the ability to download parts of the org chart instead of the entire chart.

Having a central place to manage 1:1s and performance reviews is an improvement to managing those functions in a more ad hoc manner (i.e. in documents, note taking apps, etc.)
1) The ability to sync action items from 1:1s or goals to other task management applications. Not being able to do so creates duplicate system management issues to have a consolidated to-do list. 2) The ability document ad hoc meetings in addition to recurring 1:1s, using the 1:1 template and functionality. 3) The ability to more easily manage OKRs, including the ability to sort and make bulk updates.

We have used a lot of HR software before using Lattice. This one is the best so far. We have been able to track down our personal and team OKR, and update them as we go : it helps us stay in track. We also use it to get a better human management: getting to know each other to really admin things. They also have a very good customer service AND their webinars are amazing.
It can be hard to use at first but once you put your hand on it, it's very easy to get used to it.
