Excellent help in setting up and all other customer service needs.
Offloading 100% of payroll tasks. Automatic integration with Quickbooks desktop.
I have no dissatisfaction with OnPay in any way.

OnPay has made payroll so easy I feel as though I have forgotten something when processing.
Very user friendly, affective payroll reports and feature.
Quickbooks integration is not the best, but that feature for payroll from third parties can be difficult to integrate because companies process/account for payroll differently.

OnPay has worked seamlessly for us. I would highly recommend.
Very easy to setup and use for a small business. If you need help, support is great to deal with.
Integrations with quick books are good, but lack some of the features you get with payroll through quickbooks.

Very good. I've implemented now for 2 organizations
Good user interface easy to set-up easy to run payroll very good support Quickbooks integration
A few of the minor category/code fields are not as easy to set-up A fully user-defined reporting interface would be great (specific fields/payroll items, options on how to subtotal, date range, export capability)

In the past, running payroll (with Quickbooks and Paycor) was always an arduous task, but not so with OnPay. Now it takes me under five minutes to process the monthly payroll using the intuitive OnPay web interface.
Setting up the Quickbooks export was rather difficult and time-consuming, but fortunately the OnPay support staff was there to walk me through the steps.

It is very easy to get payroll up and running. Additionally, it has a good quickbooks integration, however it doesn't tell you that the quickbooks connection only lasts 30 minutes which is why you have to log in each time. It also has a great user interface and feels very modern and sleek, which is nice to have for payroll.
The automated filings for things such as UI and WC can get a bit difficult, especially if you have your own coverage. It also doesn't ask you if you already are compliant when you tell it you are a new company. It doesn't need to in order to function, but it would be nice for small companies to have the extra bit of guidance.

I have only positive comments for OnPay. I have had negative experiences with previous vendors so I know how bad it can be. This software is very user friendly and support is very responsive.
Support staff available by chat or voice. Adaptable to special rules for Agriculture. Automatically updates my Quickbooks Online register when a payroll event happens.
I actually have no complaints at all with OnPay.

Very easy to use once set up. Very affordable. If/when issues arise, customer service is very quick to respond and provides immediate solutions.
A little tricky to get set up properly in the beginning. But once set-up, very easy to use. Limitations with routing payroll data to multiple quickbooks accounts.

Easy to set up and transfer employee and company info from previous payroll service providers. I like that the tax filing service is already included in the cost. I'm paying $680 a year for Intuit payroll and I have to file all the taxes for my clients. OnPay is roughly $480 a year and everything is done for you and you get much better customer service. I am telling all my new and existing clients about OnPay!
The biggest downfall so far is linking payroll to intuit QuickBooks for the payroll data entry. I also dislike their emailing strings; there are several people engaging in your email string and it gets a little confusing and is easy to overlook an email. Lastly, OnPay should offer a referrals program!!

Great software and excellent customer support. They went above and beyond to resolve an issue I had on my end as well. Wish I’d switched from Quickbooks payroll years ago to onpay.
None that I’ve had. They’ve been excellent

I am a small business owner and was using Quickbooks payroll service that I had to run and cut checks, Etc. For the same annual cost Onpay does this for me with direct deposit and they take care of any issues with payroll tax returns, not that I have had any since switching to Onpay.
Ease of use is #1, after the initial set up I just log into their website enter employee hours and a couple clicks later I am done.
I can't think of anything granted I have a very simple payroll.

The best part about Onpay for us, is not only the ease of use, but the ability to set up Onpay so it maps to Quickbooks Online, so we don't have to make any adjustments later. Also, we are super thankful for Onpay's support as they are always super friendly and make sure any payroll challenges we have are resolved. Also, we really like the liabilities always balance. We struggled with other software, mainly quickbooks, where there are always odd amounts of payroll liabilities hanging in the account all the time.
We have an accountant dashboard, and we can't see our invoices directly, we have them sent to us each month. Billing isn't wonky or anything, we just don't have open access to the billing from our side. If it was the client's billing account, their billing activity shows up for them.

OnPay software does everything we need - direct deposit, all taxes and payment of taxes, employee payroll information, many different reports for employees and for the business, and it will integrate with Quickbooks Accounting software as well. Great program that has helped us immensely.
It's a bit tricky at first to navigate but after just a few uses it's very easy to use, and customer service is extremely fast to respond to questions.

I'm saving money on payroll processing and direct payroll deposits.
This product is a cinch to use. I used the QB Assisted Payroll for years and was happy with the service. However, for my small company the cost had climbed quite a bit since I originally began. I decided to try OnPay and I'm glad I did! It was not very difficult to make the switch and the payroll process is super simple with OnPay. I'm very satisfied.
I wish I had switched at the end of a quarter rather than mid-quarter. That added a bit of complication to ending the QB service. Not because of OnPay but because ending the QB service during a quarter added complexity and it was not a transparent process.

It has simplified my payroll and removed all my concerns on dealing with payroll.
It's the ease of use and managing all payroll taxes.

We use for bi-monthly payroll through direct deposit and for processing payroll taxes.
The product is easy to understand and to use.
It would be beneficial to us if there was an integration with ZOHO at a reasonable price. We don't use the current companies with which OnPay offers integrations.

I added my first employee a little over a year ago. I looked into mulitple payroll companies and decided to go with OnPay. I am extremely happy with my choice. At this point, I only use them for payroll and it is only one employee, but I know they have additional services that will help me as I continue to grow. The peace of mind knowing they take care of all the taxes has been awesome. When you compare it to QuickBooks Payroll and the fact you pay for the payroll service and then still have to take care of the taxes yourself makes the additional cost of using OnPay a no brainer. Simplicity and ease of use Customer support when I have needed it The fact they take care of all the taxes

I only employ one person, so I don't need all the bells and whistles. But it would be very powerful for a larger employer.

Excellent!
The easy employee onboarding process to get them set up on payroll and direct deposit. I also like how easy it is to run payroll and view past payroll figures.
Not sure how to set up a commission based employee payroll.

I no longer provide payroll services or payroll tax preparation services to my clients. In an environment where payroll tax requirements are rapidly changing, such as the new W-4 form, it is helpful for me to offload client payroll processing to a cloud-based payroll service provider. Yet, I can still occasionally check in to help clients if there are any concerns.
The software was very easy to use. I'm a CPA who converted my clients who process payroll to this software. The change went well. I received good support when I needed it. My clients, some of whom have very limited knowledge about processing payroll and payroll taxes, made the change and are doing well. Where support was required the OnPay staff worked with my clients, or with me to accomplish the goal.
This change-over was done in December to be effective with the new year. Sometimes there was some difficulty processing the first weekly payroll which overlapped both years, but was paid in the new year. Ultimately OnPay support helped us work through the issues.
