Excellent, great support.
Ontheclock.com helps us keep track of our hours incorporated into our opening computer screens. These hours are easily and quickly loaded to Quickbooks online for payroll. It is the time clock of the 21st century! An excellent value for the money.
It doesn't do our work for us! Would like to see future versions eliminate clocking in/ out across employees when technology becomes available (e.g., fingerprint, iris)

It helps a lot with punctuality. The team is making more efforts to arrive on time.
It makes it easy to track the time of my team and make sure that everyone is paid for all the hours they worked.
I'm still trying to learn the ins and outs of the software. I think I just need to familiarize myself with all the functions before I can answer this question. So far I love everything about it.

Mostly employee payroll, along with hours worked and proper arrival-leave times.
Extremely easy to use, at a reasonable price, no contract needed; just pay the fee per employee and that's it. There is not really any special configuration needed to put it to work.
Not many options for administrators tho. For the final user it's really easy, but for admins, it lacks some features, but still, it's a great an easy option.

This software was easy for both administration and the personnel to use. For administrators, you can set the punch parameters, run reports, easily make changes/corrections, audit time card changes, set/reset passwords and track punch in locations. Additionally, you can work it from any desired location.
The only drawback is if someone forgets to punch out you don't always know it until you see their hours are cut for that day. When you evaluate the final time cards for payroll, you must pick that up then or you could short someone.

It's incredibly easy to use and it's available wherever you have wifi/internet which is awesome when crews are all over and some starting from different locations.
Sometimes the hours columns look confusing- but if you look closely then it makes sense. It is just laid out kind of long.

This has improved getting payroll in. I used to have to track down time sheets and worry I might be missing one. Now I can do payroll from anywhere I have access to a computer. We are a small company and I'm the only one who does payroll. I can now take 5 minutes and log in and do payroll even if I'm on vacation. :)
This software is very easy to use and very affordable. We are very happy with our choice to use it.
I really can't think of anything. I worse problem is older employees who have challenges with technology not wanting to use it. (I have one employee I let do a paper time sheet. But that's just to keep her happy.

As a small business owner watching my operating expenses is critical. Being able to track labor easily and to be able to use the program for free because of my low number of employees makes this the best timeclovk program that I have found.
Ease of use, dashboard, reporting, customer service
On the clock.com does a great job. We would like the time clock to report it in hours and minutes as well as well as fractions. Not a big issue though. But this is what my staff came up with!

We are able to keep track of employee work hours through the week, as well as keeping track of where they are clocking in from.
Our employees use it every day to login and logout, so the easy of it is great for us. It is also very user friendly when I am going over the hours my employees have worked for the week. Makes my life easier.
Sometimes the app does not log people in our out so we have to go back and correct it. There are features that I could be using, I just do not know how to use them. If there was some type of user training would be nice.

Works well for our small company with 3 employees. We use the computer for log in and log out. We have not tried the Mobile or GPS features.
I would like to see any messages left by employees on the time sheet report without having to click on the edit button for the specific log in. These messages do go to email but it would be nice if they also showed on the main report as a reminder.

It is easy to use, and the customer service.
It is very user friendly, affordable and that it is app friendly. The most key component for me is the GPS punch. I love this, because now I can track where my staff is punching in and out at. Almost forgot customer service is excellent.
The only complaint that I have is the time integration into quick books. I have tried it on several occasions but it don't seem to pick it up. Other than this I love OTC.

Always been easy to use. They make improvements periodically which are always useful. I believe I contacted support once and they were very responsive and helpful.
Very easy to use for employees punching in/out, for managers checking or approving employee PTO requests, and for the administrator to pull timecards for payroll.
I don't think you can change date parameters for reporting. I believe it is always based on pay period.

Everyone can see their timesheets, punch-in as needed, but is not able to change their numbers. An administrator can make changes for them, in case someone forgot to punch in (but then the administration can verify it). Punch-ins are done on a computer, and you can check the time the punch was made, as well as the IP it was made from (so people can't punch out from home).
We weren't able to get the Quickbooks Online integration working correctly, however the numbers are still presented in a format where we can just copy and paste the values in. Still very useful.

Easy time card use.
I like how user friendly it is to change or adjust things. I like being able to search the history and breakdown of different jobs.
When setting parameters for a search it changes it before all the parameters are set. Like if I want to look at one month of time for 1 employee I have to wait for it to change to the time or 1 employee before changing the rest. Also there is a box that pops up every time I have to click out of, that is annoying.

It has been much better than the paper time sheets we were using before.
This is the only program that is affordable for our library district. I like that they charge per employee, not per location.
The schedule feature is not very flexible. For example, you can't print out a schedule for just one location even though you can view it that way. It would also be nice to have a schedule that looks like a calendar - one month at a time.

Good experience have been using it for several years.
Love the flexibility and ease of use. The vacation approval and geo-fencing is great as well.
I would like to have on the clock integrate directly to Netsuite. It would be nice to have a direct way to move data between on the clock and Netsuite without having to do an export and import.

Saves time, easy to use, and mobile access are my top three favorites!
The web based nature allows freedom of use where ever I am working from as the administrator. The ease of use for the staff is fantastic for saving training time. Any questions I have had have been answered immediately.
I have not been able to use the scheduling capacity of the program to fit my needs. I schedule multiple departments one month at a time and have not yet been able to see everything I need to see at once on the screen set up options. More a me thing than a you thing!

Our PTO tracking was a mess before we added this. Our employees love that they can see their accruals and make requests any time. When we have had issues or wanted new features, the support team is easy to reach and they pass along requests for additional features to the development team.
This was easy to set up and doesn't cost a lot. Like the scheduling features. When we've had questions I can talk to some one almost immediately.
A few interface issues with PTO tracking. Would prefer a flat rate instead of per user charges. The app is pretty basic and I would like to see more functionality for admins.

Ease of use. This program is very easy for ALL employees to use (even the technically challenged ones)
Not as customizable as I would like. I would like to be able to adjust the employee selection, such as lunch break a little better. Also, the deduction for lunch should only be taken out if the employee worked over the amount defined for each punch record. Right now if an employee leaves for an hour (for an extended lunch) and punches in an out, it still subtracts a 1/2 hour if the total amount worked is over 6.0 hours.

The biggest problem I had before using On The Clock was not knowing how many hours my employees where working and it was a guessing game. Now I know exactly how much time my employees are working and everyone is much happier.
I love how I have been able to keep better track of my employees time at work and it makes doing payroll at the end of the month so much easier!

Has worked out well for my office. Keeping track of employees time and days off can be overwhelming - however, ontheclock management system is very helpful and enables me to spend less time keeping up with time off, and more time on daily operations
I like being able to set PTO and Vacation time, and manage it on line
That I am not able to print a calendar from the system so that I can see who is scheduled off PTO/Vacation time during the month
