Simplified and reduced the amount of time required for keeping accurate time cards for employees. Allows employees to monitor their own hours and be self-accountable. Forces employees to only clock in for themselves and actually be on the job when they clock-in.
Excellent product! Big company features in a very affordable . Great customer service!
Our needs are simple. There really isn't anything I'm unhappy with.

ease of use, its free for me since I only have 1 employee. it does what i need without a hassle
I like that it has updated over time... I can now enter more than one day of hours for an employee at a time
I can't think of any cons at the moment... a time calculator would be helpful though. as of now my employee just jots down what time she arrived and what time she left so i have to use an hours calculator website to figure the hrs & min and then enter them in at the end of the month.

I use OnTheClock the manage our medical simulation lab. It's extremely busy at all times. Each of our students must take shifts working in the lab. They can easily check schedules and clock in/out on their phone which makes it incredibly convenient.
My favorite feature is the GPS setting for the clock in. It assures that my students are clocking in within the building and not from home. Realtime monitoring and the biometrics are also helpful as well!
The monthy fee is required, however it's very flexible. Since I have a large number of students using the system, we get a discount.

Been using since I had only 3 employees-- this product grows easily with business growth.
Customer service is great. Affordable, easy-to-use option for time tracking
Certain functions are sometimes not found easily, but customer service is so good this is not a major issue.

The progress and developments that have been made since we started using it have been great.
We are a mobile athletic facility for special needs individuals, so the ability for my employees to clock in through the mobile device was key. We are a very small organization, so the low cost and the option to keep things simple was appealing to me.

The simplicity of the sync with quickbooks to process payroll. Ease of use for staff. Like how time cards can be printed on one page per staff.
The app seems to have bugs and staff says they clock in on their desktops. The time clock doesn't seem to sync properly for Hawaii as we don't have daylight savings time.

Easy to use, and track where they clock in which is a big help
Staff complain they have to click 2x to clock in or clock out sometimes MISTAKENLY thinking they already clocked in or out
Hello there, When employees first click the punch in/out button, this takes you to the punch site. And from there they need to click punch in or punch out once they are in there to confirm. It's just a precaution to prevent accidental punch ins and punch outs. Thank you for your review and feedback.

I like that it has a pretty accurate GPS coordinates where the employees clock in and out. I like that it figures the amount of work hours out for you and I like that the employees can send messages to you through the system.
It allows the employees the option to not share their location via GPS. It would be nice to have the ability to upload the employee hours to our payroll system.

I would strongly recommend On the Clock to other businesses. I can imagine this service working well for businesses of most sizes.
The software is affordable and easy to use. Anytime I've had a question I've always been able to get an answer quickly. In my experience the system has always been reliable and we've experienced virtually no down time.
The service has worked well. I'm looking forward to seeing the features as it evolves.

It makes my job so much easier when doing payroll.
The ease of use is the best feature when you are working with people with limited computer skills. Also being able to view time cards is great when you have to correct missed punches.
It is a little complicated to set up when there is a designated clock in point, would be easier if you could set that up in the database and then allowing everyone clocking in to follow that setting. Instead you have to set it up on each and every employee.

Very simple for day to day use but also easy to use to track and keep track of your work hours which allows our workers to monitor their own vacation/sick time. The app is also fantastic for our employees that work out in the field.
The only negative is that sometimes employees do not click and confirm clock out, leaving them clocked in which messes up their punches. But, the positive of that is that that error is easily corrected.

The flexibility and ease of use. The product is fabulous. I highly recommend this for any industry. I own to school and this makes payroll with quickbooks online a breeze.

It makes my life easier as a manager. It's one less thing I have to keep track of, and its affordable.
Ability to track hours and review old time cards. I also like that we can offer our employees paid time off and on the clock keeps tank of it all.
It doesn't communicate well with iPhones, so some of the employees have issues. Also, I would like it if the application could do everything the website can. The guys can't access and request paid time off from the application. Also the GPS doesn't always show on the punch map, even when they share they're location.

Staff can easily maneuver the system which reduces the time I have to spend logging them in. Whenever we have had problems, the system staff have been very helpful and thorough in their approach to solving our issues.
I don't like changing the format of the screens. I would prefer not having to drag the correction screen into view where I can see it to make changes.

The app makes it easy on our employees to clock in/out and request PTO. It is especially great since many of our employees work remotely.
The inability to request time off without it being a PTO request.

I save time calculating time cards for the staff. It is very easy to add new employees. I also like that I can delete and restore employees. This works well with seasonal employees.
I really like the ease of making adjustments if employees forget to clock in or out. I love that I can access it online or through the app.
I did look at the scheduling possibility with OnTheClock and the option to have text messages was not included.

ANY time I have contacted them with questions they have answered in a timely manner with the necessary information. In addition, suggestions I made have been incorporated into the software. Quite refreshing!
It is simple to set up. Very easy for employees to use.
On initial setup some of the settings needed for each employee were in different places.

Tracking employee times and jobs is wonderful! Helps with billing our customers accurately and keeping our job costing simple.
It is easy to use, manipulate, and export data. The app is user friendly for the employees as well as the administrators.
Charges for employees who are only there for part of a month should be prorated, though I know their data has to be available for the entire month.

I love the mobile app, which makes it easy to check in on employees and make corrections when needed.
I wish you could access custom dates to print out employees time clocks. Right now, you can only access three months at a time.

The training portion is very good, this gives our managers a chance to find what they are looking for.
Reports load too slow, it is very hand to customize reports and sometimes customer service does not know how to do that.
