Overall, it does the job that's needed and has great bells and whistles. Just a few basic ones missing in my opinion.

Pros

Very easy to train new users and self explanatory as far as navigation.

Cons

Most of our reporting is exporting and done through third party software.

Allows us to onboard a lot of new employees quickly, and has the ability to push fillable forms to the new employees, so moves us to a more paperless solution.

I like the ability to customize the appearance of postings for the public view, while still keeping a very uniform and organized internal database. It's a fully functioning talent management system that can support HR professionals from the point of on boarding throughout the employee' life cycle.

Pros

It is simple to add in candidates and positions, keeps good track of the candidates submitted for positions, reports are easy to make, easy to open the software, and it keeps track of your recent activity to candidates are easy to revert back to when needed

Cons

Duplicates names and positions regularly, can't search via zip code, not efficient enough for recruiting in my eyes unless your a smaller company (1 to 15), can't go back and delete things unless your an administrator (we all make mistakes but Taleo coerces even bigger issues when you have to get others involved).

Be sure to look into many different platforms before picking one. Don't shy away from a product that might cost you a little more up front as the results will prove why. Make sure when demoing the product to run all the queries you currently do and also the ones that you would like to have/use; just to make sure the product meets those needs

If you want to have a great applicant tracking system, I suggest use Taleo!

Taleo is our applicant tracking system.

Cons

There is also no preview of how the sharing will look like so we still manually share it on social media sites, and this is taking some of our precious time. I hope Taleo incorporate social media sites such as FaceBook, and Instagram, and if they do it, I hope they have a great template and photos as well.
