Pros and cons

I love how easy it is to set up packages and recurring appointments. The Stripe Integration was easy to set up, and I love that there is E-mail Marketing built in.
I love the ability to have everything in one spot, and the ability to send me customers there.
I love that it converts times zones for clients to see my availability and that there are ways to make certain offers private. I love the follow up emails and reminders for clients too.
It's new software so there are occasional glitches and it doesn't always work very smoothly. Some of my clients have had trouble using it.
Any missing features are probably “in the works.
I was expecting to be able to invoice current clients rather than making them go to the website, set up an account, choose their package, and pay for it.

An excellent CRM with much-loved regular updates

I've loved using Paperbell, and it just continues to improve and get better. The team keeps adding features which I find super useful. I love how my client info, billing, appointments and services are all in one place. I've looked at other CRMs and they are way too complicated. Paperbell has simplified the concept and created something that meets all of my needs as a personal development coach.

Pros

I love the ease of use. I love the newest updates, that have added capabilities like tracking email sent, uploading and sharing documents, and easy client login. I love how easy it is to management my clients and my appointments, as well as my service offerings.

Cons

Although easy to use, sometimes it is a bit too simplified, and I am not sure where to go to find what I need. The Customer Service is excellent though and always quickly responds with an answer to my questions.

Truly a Godsend!

Wonderful!

Pros

It captures about 90% of all my needs as the owner of a coaching practice, is super user friendly with great customer support, receptive to feedback and has a minimalist and beautiful layout. The functionality is fabulous!

Cons

There isn't a specific option to have courses. Being able to add media and links is great but I would like to offer courses in the same platform.

Very concerned about data security

I enjoyed my free trial but I did not feel comfortable migrating my client data into the system when they did not seem to have security features in place for data encryption or could not answer other questions most SaaS companies are ready to answer.

Pros

I was very much hoping to use Paperbell because so many of their features are helpful for this line of work.

Cons

When I asked support about data security, I was first given phrases like "industry standard" and "continuous protections". When I asked for clarification, like end to end encryption or how I might access my schedule if there was a disruption of service, I was told "We're a super small team serving thousands of customers, which means that we can't answer specific security questions like these.All we can do is point you towards our privacy policy. If that doesn't contain the kind of information you need, we totally understand if you go with another solution."This leads me to believe they have not made plans around service interruptions or for data security because those are not difficult questions to answer if you have.

Love, love, love this platform!

I'm a Life Coach and it's wonderful to have everything in one place. No more calendly plus docusign plus checkout. Everything's here!

Pros

I have used several similar platforms and this one is the best by far. SO EASY to use. Everything's in one place. Client's have to read & sign your Agreement before purchase. It's just an awesome platform.

Cons

The only thing I think that would make Paperbell even better is to offer a teaching platform (e.g. Teachable) that way clients only need one platform to access sessions PLUS courses.

Overall, I feel that Paperbell is an excellent product.

Pros

I like that I can add my coaching agreement contract, manage both group and individual coaching packages, integrate my google calendars, zoom, and stripe all in one place.

Cons

There are just a couple of minor limitations I've discovered so far. One is that the recurring billing date cannot be changed. The other is that package cannot be edited once a client has purchased from that package.

Simple yet useful

Overall experience has been positive. Site is easy to learn, operate and no downtime.

Pros

Paperbell is easy and simple to use. The UI is not cluttered and it has the basic features covered. I like the ability to create a package with group sessions and 1:1s mixed in.

Cons

Some more features to improve reporting and statistics would be nice. More automated email triggers would be great as well as the ability to have smart fields in all types of emails. Tracking customer funnel might be great as well.

Saving money and looking classier for my clients!

PaperBell is saving my business over $90 A MONTH. It might take a little bit longer to upload your own contracts, emails, and forms, but once it’s done it’s done. I love that the clients have to pay before being about to schedule!!!

Pros

I love that PaperBell is pretty. It looks pretty and is easy to navigate. The other client management services available are “clunky”. The screens aren’t overloaded with informations and I do not have to go to the help section every minute. PaperBell is very self explanatory.

Cons

I wish there was a one time purchase of pre made emails, contracts, and forms.

Paperbell Rocks!!

Pros

I love the way Paperbell is set up, from start to finish. It begins with having customers pay for packages and appointments before they book, streamlining the billing and invoicing process. The platform integrates with Stripe, so clients can pay monthly if they'd like. Paperbell also integrates with my Google calendar and Zoom, so when appointments are scheduled, clients and I have everything we need, including the meeting link. I also love the fact that Paperbell keeps and ICF Coaching Log for me; it makes it super easy to track the hours I've coached and whether they were paid or pro-bono. Love this software!!!

Cons

Some clients have been thrown off by receiving email such as appointment bookings and reminders from Paperbell; I think it would be easier for clients if those messages came from me.

Great customer service! New features added frequently. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and her team are committed to excellence and are always improving it.

Cons

It's new software so there are occasional glitches and it doesn't always work very smoothly. Some of my clients have had trouble using it. However, the customer service team addresses issues very quickly.

Good All in One software

I am happy that I selected Paperbell and will continue to use it for my business needs.

Pros

I like that I can use the product for scheduling, calendaring, invoicing, and client management. I also appreciate that they update the features based on user feedback.

Cons

It feels a bit start-upy and it's not always easy to figure out work arounds for certain situations (e.g. multiple payers for one client, different appointment lengths in a sequence for a client, etc.)

Pros

It was very easy to set up Paperbell compared to other pricier brands. It easily connected to my website and allows scheduling to happen without redirection from my site. I have a clean client facing interface.

Cons

I wish the store front could be more customizable because it just looks like a bunch of boxes just thrown on the screen without regard to make it look attractive. It would be nice to choose from a pre-existing template for how the store front will look or even the package landing/checkout pages. I wish clients could message me or email me directly in the app. A testimonial feature built in would be amazing.

Solid choice, albeit with limited range

Enjoyable, but more stripped down than expected. I appreciated how quickly I was able to set up my coaching/consulting services. I was expecting to be able to invoice current clients rather than making them go to the website, set up an account, choose their package, and pay for it. It would be less desirable for new clients, but I definitely wasn’t going to have my current clients go through hoops...

Pros

I appreciate the setup guidance. Smooth!

Cons

No way to invoice current clients or to give discounts without creating a completely different SKU/product

Great product and I've only scratched the surface

I love being part of something new and I love how they're developing it all the time and I'm able to access all the new features as they're created.

Pros

I think it's a great scheduler, payment processor and coaching admin tool in one. I have been very well supported by the creators of Paperbell since inception and feel that they are really responsive to questions.

Cons

I wasn't happy about it only working for individual coaching but now they've launched the group coaching option so I'm thrilled!

Great all-in-one system for scheduling and payment for coaching clients

Scheduling, booking and delivering coaching - it's ideal for all of this!

Pros

So nice to have a single system to manage everything vs. different systems spread all over the place. This tool is really ideal if you have a coaching business and I've already recommended it to several coaches I know who are doing things the manual way.

Cons

It's really focused on just coaches, not in having a full eCommerce store - not really a con, just that it's good at the primary use case of helping coaches automate their business which is what it's designed for.

I really enjoy paperbell

I am happy I found Paperbell and I plan to continue to use it.

Pros

Paperbell has been my go to for majority of my coaching business. Scheduling and managing clients is easy and seamless.

Cons

The survey questions drive me insane. There’s needs to be a feature where the questions are a requirement before a client can move forward with scheduling. Drafted auto emails feature is nice but would be better if there’s was the ability to have different one for the different packages we offer. Paperbell would be my ultimate favorite if it had an actual mobile app for both coaches and clients. Would be great if it had a chat or messaging feature. Also, would love to be able to offer courses or coaching program sequences as a stop shop .

Great Platform for Coaches and Consultants

Excellent. I love that I can set up automated emails that make my job so much easier. The integration with Zoom, Stripe, and Google calendars also streamlines the process so I don't have to do all those things manually. I like that I don't have to patchwork a bunch of different systems to get what I need done.

Pros

Paperbell is very responsive to feedback and many things I have wondered about or asked about have eventually been added as features. The price point is perfect. I and my clients have been pleased with this software.

Cons

I would like client email logs to have a toggle function to view the most recent email first, rather than scrolling allllllll the way down for the most recent email. I would also like to have the option for multiple contracts and documents to be e-signed by client; for instance if they start off as an individual coaching client but then join a group, there is no way currently to add an additional contract for them to sign electronically through the system.

Paperbell integrates many features so you don't have to piecemeal what you need.

I appreciate how open Paperbell is to suggestions from customers. They respond very quickly to questions and needed support.

Pros

The Paperbell platform eliminated the need for a separate scheduling, billing and CRM for my coaching packages. That also means a coach doesn't have to learn many different platform operating systems and the cost is much lower.

Cons

The survey feature doesn't have as many options as I'd like (such as drop downs/ multiple choice/ checklists); but it is very easy to integrate Google Forms if a detailed survey is needed.

Critical to my business

LOVE it. I can't imagine running this business without it.

Pros

I was up and running in under an hour. I love how easy it was for me as a non techy person to set up. My favorite features are not only the calendar, booking but how I can create a drip campaign to anyone that purchases a package.

Cons

I recently started to use the group package feature. Would love to be able to manually select a date to do group emails.

Eliminated stress from my onboarding process!

When I first started, every time a potential client reached out, I had to stress about the delivery system for my invoices and contract. Once I got paperbell, it happens on autopilot. It’s simple and sleek - it does everything essential without having distracting “extras”

Pros

It’s so simple and the clients can do everything themselves

Cons

I wish it partnered with Gravity Payments or gocardless because having only stripe is such an expensive platform and unaligned to my values.

Worth the price

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that I don't get charged per amount of customers I have. It's a flat fee for all the features. It's a little more if you're just starting, but honestly for the most important part of your business -- scheduling and payment-- it works excellent.

Cons

there are some things that I'd like more of. Like I think it'd be nice to make a note for each separate time you meet with a client.

I love Paperbell

I find Paperbell very useful and easy to navigate. I use the frequently asked question section a lot as well as the support section to help with any confusion I may have at the time. So far I haven’t had to make a call to the support center. Long story short, my overall experience is excellent.

Pros

I love that Paperbell have a complete break down of the sections that clients can view to help them with the scheduling, purchasing and emailing the clients invoices, and I also love that I can automatically send reminders to my clients.

Cons

Honestly nothing so far, I’m just starting out as a coach. In fact, I learned that I needed a contract for clients to sign, before a purchase is made. Again I didn’t know that in the beginning, so Paperbell is a thumbs up for me.

Fantastic program for start up coaches

This is a simple and easy software that has everything you need especially has a start up coach. Customer service is incredible and they always come back to me in a timely manner with the answers I need!

Pros

It's clear and easy to use to set clients up, create my packages, and as well they are always adding great features such as the recent adding more options for payment plans!

Cons

Mainly when adding my own clients in when I'm on the phone with them I am unable to choose the package on their behalf without it being a gift so need them to do it themselves to be able to add the payment plan they want (unless there is a way around it?)
