Reporting is fantastic. Super easy to generate custom reports and set up timed data plus.
The lift to get the setup completed is heavy. To get the most out of the system this is important.

Paycom is better than some alternatives to log hours (such as Paychex and UltiPro), but it’s not a perfect system. However, it is aesthetically pleasing, and the fact that it is easy to update is a definite plus.
Paycom has an easy-to-use mobile app? and is very easy to understand. It also keeps all of my tax documents in one place, which is very convenient.
Paycom makes me change my password once every few weeks, which is frustrating. Its auto-populating features also leave something to be desired.

There was a time when we had to use this to log in and out everyday to track our hours, and it was easy enough to keep track of that plus manage our paystubs.
While I appreciated the security measures, having to enter your pin AND password each time you logged in became slightly annoying.

Paycom makes me feel empowered in terms of handling my clock in/out. I don't need to wait for soemone to approve the changes that I need. They make everything so easy. Plus the customer service is very helpful.
Paycom is very user friendly. It is to complicated to use. I am in control of my the changes that I need to do.
They can improve more the option to add a lunch or break when employees forgot to log out.

The nonprofit I work for started using Paycom a few years ago. It has been a while and so I can't remember what we used previously, but I'm a fan of having all my paystub info info in one place. Plus, it's easy to submit vacation day requests.
I'm not a fan of the Paycom sign-in process. I get why they do it, but it's kind of a pain. In addition to the usual user name and password request, the login process has several questions I have to answer each and every time.

Highly recommend this platform! As a start-up we're using technology optimized across our digital stack and extremely pleased with the results Paycom gives me as an employee
-easy to navigate (HUGE plus) - if you've struggled with other benefits tools (used Kronos in the past) the UI is very easy to navigate, everything is placed in a very organized and neat layout -mobile app offered - pretty efficient and have used it when needing to work remote/request a sick day
-no real complaints - it does what I need and I've been very satisfied. security was a bit tedious when setting up, but I'd be concerned if it were too easy

Our overall experience is very good in all areas that we use the system.
The ease of time/payroll management for our internal employees, contract employees and clients are primary benefits to our team. Annual benefits enrollment is a huge plus as well. Not only do we use Paycom as a client, but serve as a vendor to the company as well. I am happy to recommend their cutting edge technology to anyone.

Overall, my experience with Paycom has been a good one. I can access it on my mobile device and, to me, that is so important because there are instances where you need to access your payroll information and being able to pull it up on your phone is a definite plus. I don't remember what we used before Paycom but I can definitely say that I like it better because there is must more information that is readily available
There are many wonderful features to this program. It is easy to see your upcoming paycheck or review past paychecks as well as other tax documents. It is also a very valuable feature being able to view benefits, available time off, time used, etc. I would say that I especially like the Community feature where employees can leave comments or kudos to their co-workers.
I think that the navigation could be a little easier. After using this program for some years now, I still have to search to find my paycheck. I don't know if it's just me but I think if I had to change anything, I would change the location of the current paycheck.

Hard sales - it was not a comfortable sales process AT ALL. Lots of promises not all of which were fulfilled. Implementation team was great but I had to push really hard on some things that I knew must be there but my specialist didn't know about yet. BUT, we previously had a full time payroll manager and a part time recruiter, plus an HR generalist for our past system. Now we have one person doing all admin at about .75 FTE. We aren't maximizing the software but it's better than what we had before.
The employee self service feature and timecard management is fantastic. Their core philosophy is that employees enter, manage and approve their own time. There's a learning curve for sure, but ultimately - given my retail hourly workforce - this has been a huge sigh of relief over our prior timecard mgmt and the risk we had with managers entering employee time.
There are parts that are unnecessarily complicated - like the way that they have position mgmt set up, and how managers get access to open positions. The checklists and task management are also really complicated. There is no admin community or Special Interest Groups which is a huge miss. The peer sharing of best practices is something I miss very much.

Paycom was the payroll service we used. They are trained to complete all the forms, calculations and procedures and do it correctly. The difficulty of the operation lies in taking on the heavy lifting of processing our salary so that I can focus on building my company. We transferred from ADP to Paycom and the decision was absolutely the right one. I wanted to be treated like I was local and not like...
I researched the qualities of ease of use, cost and being a proven provider, plus I have to tell you that Paycom delivers on all fronts for my small business. Payroll runs in just a few minutes and if anything goes wrong, my representative communicates quickly and efficiently to prevent anything from intercepting our employees' payroll accurately and on time. Paycom is a security and law focused kind of company, knowing this makes me feel comfortable that security is a priority, just like for our restaurant, it's important to them.
My rep discussed the readability of the reports with me at the beginning of 2017 and immediately my concerns were addressed and resolved. If you give Paycom good reviews, they fix the problem right away.

Overall we are very pleased with the scope and breadth of the system. We are finding that we are able to solve many HR challenges through this platform. And they are continually improving the product. Even in the last 10 months, some of the things that would have made to the "What do you like least about this software?" list have been resolved through new product releases.
We implemented Paycom after becoming frustrated with a much more expensive solution. We have been using it for about 10 months and are still amazed at how intuitive the software is. Our HR team has been able to go right into the system and begin using it with very little formal training which a plus when time is tight. We are still hopeful that Paycom will come out with a more robust API that will allow us to share employee data bi-directionally. For now, you can export data from Paycom to share across other software systems but you cannot write into Paycom. Everything needs to be manually imported.
