Real time payroll allows us to audit payroll often and not wait until processing day. During implementation many of our PM left during the project which delayed our progress. Also, some of the IC did not understand US law which we then had to explain how to set up our payroll.
Single sign on to do payroll, HR records, performance module, compensation.
When searching for employees, we need to know which company, department to search for their timesheets.

Automated HR functions such as performance management, payroll management, benefits, employee communications.
Dayforce has been instrumental in streamlining our human resource management system. We utilize this system for employee alerts, employee accured time, timesheets, manager approvals, payroll, benefits, requests for time off and performance reviews. It's all one place now which is more efficient and a time saver.
The timesheet option is a bit complicated. It takes many steps to find your weekly timesheet with the totals added for each week, need to click on the calendar option which is confusing. Not very user friendly during the navigation process.

A one stop shop for mostly all human resources and payroll functions.
The integration of payroll, scheduling, document management, performance management, recruiting, and onboarding on one platform.
It can be more intutitive. The system is easy enough to operate, but I think it would be more beneficial if some of the features were more intuitive so new users can become more efficient in a quicker manner. It takes some getting used to. I would recommend changing the format for drop down selections. It isn't always obvious to new users.

Dayforce allows our teams to manage Time off requests, payroll requests (including the standard tax forms, direct deposit), and other HR data. Sad to say we had a three systems all doing these same tasks independently and to the detriment and frustration for the teams that manage all of this. Enter Ceridian Dayforce which allowed us to have full integration. Our managers have given positive feedback on the reporting and management of requests and changes. Our teams are more efficient and responsive now that we have implemented.
We still want there to be easier integration with performance management. We want to be able to store performance data, mid-year and annual reviews, and monthly notes based on manager interactions with team members. Hopefully this will be functionality that will exist soon.

All-in-one integrated system. Easy to use for employees, yet sophisticated enough for power users to customize the back-end for our needs. I like their road map for the next couple years. They've made great changes to the interface as well as added new features. It looks like that trend will continue, which is exciting.
Performance can be a bit slow because the foundation is built on Silverlight. Technical support can be hit or miss.

Great time management functionality and vacation tracking. Our HR team is able to keep notes on discussions with each team member to share information.
We are most excited about the new features we are implementing early next year, HR metrics, performance management, recruiting and onboarding.

It’s a great tool and an upgrade compared to our old system. It is definitely for a larger company. I like a lot of the customizable features but the system isn’t super intuitive and it’s not the easiest to learn.
I really enjoy some of the features like Dayforce Hub, Performance Management and Engagement. They are all customizable and easy to figure out.
You have to learn how to set up everything yourself. If there is an issue Dayforce doesn’t fix it for you, they guide you on how to fix it. Also there are costa associated with every change you make

The user interface is aesthetically pleasing. Our account rep and support lead are always there to listen to our issues, but sadly many of our tickets remain open and issues remain unresolved.
The Time & Attendance system is extremely slow, there is a lack of knowledge in support when opening tickets and support is also very slow at responding. The system has many layers which is both a pro and a con. A pro because it gives the user more customization options, but a con because it can (and does) cause a lot of confusion for both the user and in our case the implementation "expert".

The personalization (photo, bio) features in Dayforce allow our staff to connect with others that they may not have met, and also conversations in performance management allows instant feedback between supervisor and employee.
Any software conversion is time consuming and challenging but once complete, you're happy it's done!

Integration was slightly difficult at first with so many features, but after a while its rather helpful.
The interface of DayForce is pretty with the calming colours and solid organization. It displays information easily and intuitively, a useful application or all employees. A lot of capable features from performance to finances.
Passwords can be a nuisance sometimes if they are forgotten. Having to reach out to the admin to reset every now and then is a hassle especially for part-time users when there is often more of them. I am not too fond of being unable to easily find staffs in the schedule/timesheet as you can't use ctrl + f on the desktop even though they are listed alphabetically.

I've had a very good experience with Dayforce. The system is robust and has a lot of capabilities that we aren't even utilizing. I love that there are options and it is still very easy to use.
I enter in timesheets for my team on a weekly basis and Dayforce makes it super easy to do. I can see my entire team in one spot and go through and enter all of their hours easily.
From my perspective as a manager, I would prefer an easier way to get to information regarding my team's overall pay and performance. It would be nice to have more reporting and dashboards.

It is a good product. It is cloud based which makes is highly desirable during the pandemic. Customer support is also very helpful.
A lot of features are easy to adapt and there is less of a learning curve. The software can be used for a host of HR functions from payroll to recruitment, LMS, performance management and more.
The system has a vast number of features and one needs to rely on a consultant for customization. Advanced knowledge of software engineering is necessary while creating reports or XML forms.

Overall my experience with Dayforce has been positive. I enjoy how you can onboard new employees with benefit selections and payroll. It is useful to keep all these managerial aspects to my job on one location.
Compared to other products and services Dayforce is useful for allowing employees to submit time off requests, time keeping, manage benefits and payroll, and managing performance. Most other services offer only a piece of what Dayforce offers.
The user interface is a little outdated and sometimes it isn't clear on how to navigate to certain features. For instance, it automatically hid my calendar and I had to go to a custom option window to add it my favorites to be able to access it.

Good experience - I would recommend it to other companies to use for the HR systems.
The main page was easy to navigate and use. I was able to get to everything I needed without searching endlessly on a busy screen. I appreciated the time of functionality as well as the benefits administration functionality. It was all super easy to work through.
I did not like the performance management system set up. It was not set up in a user friendly way. I also didn't like the rating system wasn't well explained - for example, meets expectations vs meets expectations beyond.

Appears to be a group of proud, company centric, team focused employees
Integrated platform. We will use it to improve our new hire/seasonal hire process. Once we launch July 2020, the next year will involve become paperless. Integrated payroll and HRIS and ability to maximize employee performance are great opportunities.
New to product-Not able to evaluate at this point. Would love to have more face to face implementation meeting with the team. Online/zoom calls are nice. Makes for a slow build and integration. 2 intense weeks with the Ceridian team would provide the needed results.
