Pros
Rich set of LMS and video training capabilities, good video tagging features, great organizational functionality for video training libraries.
It has been growing pains with an excellent team and product but it is worth it.
It was surprisingly easy to implement and we had excellent support from the poka team. Love the fact that we are building a history of how to solve problems.
Pros
Alpha is continually moving forward with new and exciting capabilities. Support is great and the online Forum community is vibrant, active and willing to help when needed.
I also love the support I get from the team behind this software. They're great to work with, knowledgeable and constantly improving the product.
A great tool to get things done quickly. Fantastic support, tutorials and documentation.
Cons
I don't get a sample of the issues we had this week, I get the full picture of what slows my team down. With Poka I can more quickly identify problems that need to be fixed.
It is difficult to measure the return on investment of such software.
But very performant on it. No available test to confirm that people understand what they learn.
Cons
The development platform has a tendency to be unstable.
The platform uses a number of programing languages such as, HTML, JavaScript, Jason, and Xbasic. Each is a little different and can get frustrating when coding.
I have no formal programing training other than self taught knowledge.
