QuickBooks Time vs ADP Workforce Now Comparison

Eliminating the need to manually input hours by downloading hours directly to ADP

Not being able to down load employee time split between the multiple departments.

It was easy to setup and trial , our finance dept pretty much was able to set this up on their own without the IT dept's assistance which says alot about how easy it was and is to setup. i love how easy it is to punch in and out for the day, and it is quick. We have used ADP workforce in the past and it was just so slow.

I cant really say i dislike any of the features, because we love them all and havent seen anything to improve on at the moment. We have only been using it within the past 6 months and it has been a tremendous help for our organization.

Tsheets is a great program and has a great support team with great customer service to assist you through every step.

Tsheets doesn't use middle initials which caused integration issue with ADP

Has most functions for a Staffing company. Quickbooks integration enhanced. ADP Run Integration.

Can't wait to get PDF File of Payroll Reports emailed to my managers. Not a problem

The ease of use for my staff and the integration with Quickbooks and ADP.

What's not to like? Does everything I need it to.

This Application is user-friendly. When issues are encountered, the response of the Tech Support Team is phenomenal. Today with their assistance, we were able to resolve three weeks worth of issues.

While the Application is user friendly, we have also encountered some issues with uploading to ADP Run.

Easy to set up employees for clocking in and time tracking

It is proving to be quite complicated to get invoicing AND payroll to function with Quickbooks and ADP

Integration with QB/ADP. Easy to update and change hours. Tracking of employees. Automatic deduction of breaks and lunches.

If an error is missed and needs to be corrected after initial payroll is processed there is no way to do this between Tsheets and ADP. There appears to be no way to brake out workers comp codes. This is very important in our industry. I have not found the solution for this and I am working on it.

Background: Our company experienced multiple failures with data transfer between TSheets and ADP Run over the course of a 5-week period. Initially, we attempted to resolve these problems by working through ADP. No substantive progress was made until our rep was assigned to assist. She provided exemplary service as we worked with ADP to resolve the source problem(s). At one point in this process, I was frustrated enough to consider replacing both TSheets and ADP Run. However, his outstanding follow-up, superior attention to detail, effective supporting research, and alignment of the required supporting resources demonstrated to me the commitment and capability of TSheets and your personnel. She is truly an asset to your organization.

The feedback loop for data exchange between TSheets and ADP Run appears insufficient to pro-actively identify discrepancies that will adversely impact system performance.

Ease of use once learned. Great customer service.

It is very different than ADP, so it took a bit of time for the employees to learn and feel comfortable.

Good depth and connectivity with other programs/plugins. Interfaced well with QuickBooks and ADP as well as letting me track customer projects.

The interface isn't the most transparent, but once you get the hang of it, it is very helpful. Customer support is quick to lend a hand though.

integration to ADP can be tricky but the rep in the customer support team, was not only funny, he made it easy!

Simple to use, easy to find what you're looking for. I appreciate the total control of how and when your workforce can record their time on the job.

I have only one tiny gripe about Tsheets. The web browser always opens reports to fill the screen. I have two screens, one is blueprint sized (huge) and one is a normal sized monitor. When I open reports on my large screen, the distance between the name or project, and the hours recorded is literally feet apart. I wish I could resize the reports instead of defaulting to full screen.

The time and jobs tracking is a very nice feature. We are still learning but so far it seems efficient

Since some of our jobs are prevailing wage and we have to separate those wages and jobs for reports. I would like to see a better way to do this with TSheets. We use ADP and we can export the time and wages there. But I then have to then go into ADP and manually do the separation.

Best thing to use with Quick book, since it can sync with quick book. Time sheet and ADP goes hand in hand so no need to do the things double.

Error in Time sheet gives error in ADP as well so make sure you are entering right data . Other than that no cons.

I think the team loved most was the overtime tracking and rules implementation. Very easy to set up and track.

The initial setup of the integration with our ADP caused a few head scratching moments but their online chat support help us set it all up.

Tracking Time, and the ability to track movement. Exporting the information to ADP GREAT! Being able to control the permissions - outstanding! I am thinking of adding the scheduling Mod.

I have found that the ability to track movement is not even 50% correct. Having a Security company - my team is constantly on the move. sometimes it only shows them moving once for an 8 hours period. I tested this with one of the Manager, and if failed. I would like to be able to create a report in a spead sheet (Excel).

The ability to set things up to import into both ADP and Quickbooks in a way that I can easily Job Cost. i also like the location feature.

I need a simpler way to customize jobs and items for individual employees. Also, I need the program to allow employees to request time off and their requests to be approved or denied and put on their timecards.

Tsheets is simple, affordable, and easy to use once you get the hang of it. Provides real time data on workforce assets and serves as an effective tool for management to assess efficiency and costs.

individual entries can be cumbersome, could see this being more of an issue for larger organizations. Advanced reporting functions are a bit granular, compared to the visual driven interface of the core components.

What I like the most about using this product the ease of use, ease to sync with quickbooks, and excellent customer service every time! The customer rep was awesome, friendly, and even took it an extra step to help me change settings so that I do not run into this same issue again. Above and Beyond!

So far, in the short few months we have been using this product, I have no complaints or issues with the product or customer service.

Customer service was excellent they called me within a hour of trying the free trail i was put on with Shantel who spent two hours helping me set up time tracking, import customers and really got us running.

i guess the one thing i found that will be cumbersome is we did not check "billing address same" in QB now i have to go into each customer to update or my manager will still have to add each address manually.

Easy to use, functions well. The support is tremendous, they are quick and friendly and helpful. Don't let the Intuit name scare you away, they may be owned by them but they don't run their support like them. They are responsive and knowledgeable and own the issue on the first contact. They also look for and implement improvements to the product continuously and solicit feedback on new features. Our rep was great in solving some mysteries.

The reporting could be a little more robust, better formatted and adjustable to preferences.

It is very user friendly and this program works with our ADP System, customer service is always helpful and friendly. They make it very easy for someone who is not that computer knowledgeable to use.

Have had no problems with the software so there is nothing that I dislike about this software.

It integrates with ADP and Quickbooks and helps get us off massive excel spreadsheets and out of the stone age with paper timesheets and time cards. I also love that it has a scheduling feature.

The scheduling feature needs improvement on customizations and there are a few group and employee specific customizations that it could use. But I also know, they work on any ideas that the customers give so I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

WorkforceNow helped to streamline the payroll process for me when I worked as director for a management company employing over 100 employees. Previously, everything was done manually through Quickbooks payroll, which was very time consuming.

It is expensive and is not worth the time and money if you are operating with less than 50 employees.

I've used other different payroll softwares at previous jobs and ADP is by far the best i've used. It's super easy to track my teams time off and PTO hours remaining.

I am having trouble getting ADP to integrate with Quickbooks but i am not sure if it is an issue with quickbooks or ADP as I have not had much help with either company trying to figure out the issue

ADP interfaces well with Quickbooks and gets our people paid. That's the most important thing, right?

Learning from an administrative angle takes some practice, but that's to be expected. It's payroll, not payola.

I was introduced to this software when I first started working at my current employer. The software has an abundant amount of features so it can be quite scary to use at first. Integration or Mapping ADP into Quickbooks was quite stressful to set up. There's a lot of moving pieces involved to make certain that no errors occur when importing payroll data from ADP to Quickbooks. However, that's where the customer support comes in handy, as I mentioned above. But once the mapping is complete and with a few clicks of the button, recording the payroll journal entries into Quickbooks has never been so easy.

All the features, the ability to handle a complicated payroll

The learning curve is a little steep, but customer service solves any issue and answers all my questions while teaching me to do it myself next time

The ease of use of this software makes it both time and cost effective. I would recommend it to any small business owner. Definitely great for any business with 25 or less employees.

I would recommend partnering with other platforms to make it sync i.e. quickbooks but overall a really great product
