Since we started using this software it has made payroll a much easier job. Not having to order a time clock nor time cards saves us money and having digital records saves space.
Downloading of time cards into quickbooks
Have not come across any major glitches as of yet. So no Cons yet.

This time clock is a good value for us as a small business, it helps track job costs and simplifies payroll.
The ability to switch between different departments and jobs
We use QuickBooks, but it is hosted by HarborCloud, so we can't import directly to QuickBooks.

How easy it is to use with Quickbooks, the ease of having the employees clock in and out with out all the paper time cards.
How it is not as accurate on where the employees clock in.

Easy to clock in/out. Easy to manage employees times.
Easy to use, can easily navigate through the system. If something needs to be changed or added, its pretty easy.
More PTO options would be nice, like accruing per hour... . I had some issues synching time sheets to our Quickbooks, but no big deal.

App does not load overtime into Quickbooks. Only total hours is loaded. Need to separate hours in Quickbooks before running payroll.

The simplicity of the sync with quickbooks to process payroll. Ease of use for staff. Like how time cards can be printed on one page per staff.
The app seems to have bugs and staff says they clock in on their desktops. The time clock doesn't seem to sync properly for Hawaii as we don't have daylight savings time.

The software is easy and quick to use. Employees can clock in/out from their phones or desktop computer. Now with the work from home schedule, it really helps track employees and their hours. The system is user friendly for everyone. Nothing to download or install. Perfect for our business.
There isn't anything bad about this feature. I guess maybe I cannot link to my Desktop QuickBooks, only QuickBooks online works with this software.

I do payroll and I can't download time cards into Quickbooks because I don't have the admin log in. Not all admins do Payroll. Wish I had access to do this.

We had a time clock system that didn’t integrate with QuickBooks in anyway. Not only have we been able to make our payroll process more efficient, we’ve been able to dial in to gain information over our staffing and what is required.
I switched to this software about a year ago for many reasons. First there were some integrations with QuickBooks to help us make our payroll process more efficient. I love that we can create “jobs” for employees; it’s really helped us to see how we’re going with staffing. I also LOVE their customer service! Anytime I’ve ever had a question or needed help, they do so right away!
I wished it directly linked to QuickBooks but that’s it!

It's free to use, web based, geo fencing via IP or GPS (if set up that way), relatively easy to scale (but charges start scaling up also)
Not the slickest interface, reporting is okay (CSV). Integrations are limited (QuickBooks via CSV).

Excellent, great support.
Ontheclock.com helps us keep track of our hours incorporated into our opening computer screens. These hours are easily and quickly loaded to Quickbooks online for payroll. It is the time clock of the 21st century! An excellent value for the money.
It doesn't do our work for us! Would like to see future versions eliminate clocking in/ out across employees when technology becomes available (e.g., fingerprint, iris)

Using Quickbooks with the time clock information makes payroll take a couple of minutes, allowing me to get done quickly and correctly. Employees like the ease of use, so they actually clock in and out! The cost of the program has risen, but still well worth the time savings.
As an employer I wanted an easy to use time clock. This is and has been such an easy set up and managed program I could not recommend it more highly. The ability to assign managers for other employees has made my payroll day so much easier, which is a big time saver, making payroll a breeze.
Printing options. There is not a smooth way to print audit logs. Having that additional report would be a great help for documentation of changes made after the fact.

I love that I only pay for the number of employees I have. I'm not treated like a big company and pay an outrageous monthly fee.
I have trouble occasionally using the import export to quickbooks from the on the clock website. But not a huge issue

The reliability of the program is great. I like the different features such as turning on/off the clock in from cell phone, etc.
Never could get it to work with my QuickBooks Online. But I only have a few employees so the manual entry is fast.

I have recommended this software to several other small companies like mine and they love it too.
It's very inexpensive and easy to use. Works great with Quickbooks. Anytime I had to call to ask questions, they answered right away and were able to answer my questions.
There is nothing I don't like. It's great all around. The only negative would be, if you have employees that do not have a cell phone with data nor access to a computer to log in and out.

This software has made time tracking so much simpler, which saves me and our employees using it time and money.
I like the ease of use and the fact that it will export directly to Quickbooks. I also like being able to geographically control where employees can clock in/clock out.
User interface is a little bit cumbersome, but it's getting better with recent improvements.

Everyone can see their timesheets, punch-in as needed, but is not able to change their numbers. An administrator can make changes for them, in case someone forgot to punch in (but then the administration can verify it). Punch-ins are done on a computer, and you can check the time the punch was made, as well as the IP it was made from (so people can't punch out from home).
We weren't able to get the Quickbooks Online integration working correctly, however the numbers are still presented in a format where we can just copy and paste the values in. Still very useful.
