The tracking of days off, and the calendar which is visible to all associates

That it is still simplistic in its use, and cannot be used as the only HR device for the company (payroll, expenses, time off)

A great user interface, which is very easy to use and has allowed us to roll CakeHR out to all our staff without any issues or lots of questions.

There is a lack of documentation for admins however Cake's support team is very attentive and answer any questions quickly. I would like to see CakeHr's roadmap for future development, which will show if any of our suggestions have been planned in.

Everything is as expected and works in the way it is suppose to.

We started using this when it was cakeHR, and it was great and pretty well supported. Cost effective, pretty solid features for a small team.

After sage bought it, prices went up and support vanished. Tried cancelling for months, never received confirmation. The only place a Sage human would respond is on Twitter.

Very simple to use. Intuitive workflows and change the hierarchy. Setting the org is pretty simple. I can perform all the company HR operations.

It gives a weird login issue sometimes. When i login, even after many days, it gives me a session error and asks me to re-login.

Great support, quick and responsive. Features are easy to use and there is a lot of customisable options available. Easy to manage users, book time off and from what I understand there are lots of features coming soon.

Could do with a little more integration and could do with some extra options around file storage and online documents.

Hi Jon! This year, we're going to be working massively on integrations with many great solutions available. It is planned for Q2 so I'll keep you updated on that!

The UI is great and the work flow of the platform is intuitive. The customer support has been awesome as well.

It's really just lacking in some features we need but the features that do work, work well. Becuase we are still reliant on our current platform to serve our needs. We don't get as much use out of Cake.Hr as I feel like we could. We were told new features will be released in late August early September so we're waiting for those to determine whether or not we work Cake.Hr into a permanent part of our business processes.

I like that it is very easy to request PTO and to set up multiple policies for employees.

It was a little confusing at times during set-up, we operate in fractions of days and sometimes it is hard to get people to understand how that can be entered into the system.

CAKE is a very easygoing tool dynamic and friendly nos only with the administrators but with the rest of employees. Also, the costumer service is amazing, they will always be available to help and even receive all recommendations we give them by call or the CAKE chat.

Probably I would say the big data, sometimes is difficult to load the data when is a lot of it and you have to ask for help

Leave management module works really well

Would love to see a performance management module that could include the setting and measurement of KPAs and KPIs.

I have to keep hush hush... ah, forget it! I cannot wait to show everybody the full-blown Performance module for CakeHR. Scheduling 1-to-1 meetings for appraisal, goal (OKR & KPI) tracking, development goals, 360 reviews and surveys! It will be the biggest release since CakeHR began! Remember, keep it hush hush ;)

Ease to set up and get started. Billing process is easy too.

Navigation for admin is poor. Org chart is not user friendly.

Hi there, Thank you for taking your time to leave the review! :) This is such a shame that you are finding the Settings navigation inconvenient, since we have built it and continue to improve following our customer feedback and suggestions. Our Org Chart section is primarily designed as a live tool to arrange and update reporting lines by drag&drop, and for the same reason indeed creates limitation for copying and printing, but this hasn't been reported as an issue by other customers. Easy of use and implementation in the workplace

Nothing to report that I do not like about it

Great customer support and assistance with Queries and suggestions.

Only one minor complaint is that I'm not a fan of the wood effect background on the dashboard.

Easy UI. Availability in several languages. Sync with Slack works fine.

It has some bad translations in German e.g. Sometimes the holidays from other dep. are available and sometimes only for our own department.

I like that you can easily access all our HR information all in once place. I've been able to add custom fields to really mold CakeHR to be what we need it to be.

The mobile app. It's only capability is minor directory information and PTO. I'd like to get full CakeHR functions from the app.

Hi Lupe! We're constantly improving the mobile app because we believe that we're more on-the-go than ever before! Most, if not all, features of CakeHR will be available on mobile

Once you learn it, it's quite easy to use. You can track your time, see when your colleagues are on holidays, see the organization chart and send requests for holidays.

It's not very intuitive. Once you track your time you can't correct it, so you have to cancel tracking and write the hours from scratch.

Easy way to approve pending request. Calendar to see when the people are away.

It is often quite difficult to easily get the information I need, I mean, in an intuitive way. For example where to find a requested permission and decline it. The overall UI seems quite basic and bootstrap style. I'd like to have a way to automatically integrate it with a payroll italian system to automatically adjust the available permissions/holidays of each employee.

Mindy! Thanks! I was really happy with was that we resolved the issues of settings your policies with our dynamic settings despite US States having crazy laws for time off. And, despite staying in the office later, my dinner was warm and girlfriend happy :D Glad you are with us!

Clean layout, ease of use adding new employees is easy editing errors is a breeze Employees like to know exactly how many days they have remaining and dont have to ask me as often

Sometimes its difficult as a manager to navigate through all the different functionalities available.
