Centralized platform to manage employees and assign tasks for onboarding
Easiness of use combined with the option to scale according to business needs. Sapling provides a great platform to ensure employees stay organized.
Sapling has its own limitations and does not support a variety of other onboarding features that might be available through other solutions. Still, I believe this to be the best option for usability

I really enjoy the ease of use. The UI covers all of the needed assets in order to complete my work in a timely manner.
The one major issue I have is that Sapling logs me out far too quickly. I walk away from my desk for 5 minutes or so, and then I have to relog in.
Thank you for this feedback Dale and we hear you. The reason you were logged out is because after being idle for more than 10 minutes, you're logged out for security purposes. But good news, at the end of next month we will have a release that includes a setting option to change this timeframe. Note, this is a company setting that will have to be updated by your company.

- It keeps me organised and I can track the employees' progress and activities at one glance. - It is integrated with our hiring ATS system, Workable, which automatically helped us tracked any new hires made in Workable into Sapling - Helps in creating their new work email
It doesn't notify you when employees made changes to their profile - which is crucial (e.g bank details)
We sincerely appreciate your time and feedback. Although, we don't currently have this functionality it is something that we are building in the future . Currently, customers have two options. Either they can reference the history event for any changes made or you use Sapling¿s Slack integration which pushes Sapling Events and updates straight into your Slack. Sapling Events provides complete visibility over your employee experience program and is available to Admin and Account owners in Sapling. This includes changes to employees, documents, tasks and company settings. We are rolling our change reporting in Q4 2018.

My overall experience with sapling was good. The firm ran smoother after using sapling and employees enjoyed the easy HR access.
Sapling makes HR interactions easy and it has tools for employees as well. I love the custom workflow and organizational charts which are interactive and easy to use. Sapling makes it easy for all employees to view clearly outlined policies and rules. We can also view information on each departments projects or roles and their progress with each.
Sapling bases your subscription price on the number of employees in your company rather than what features you use or how much data you store. Sapling does not offer a free trial or free version so that you can explore the product before you commit. Sapling is web based and has no mobile app which is why I rated ease of use and ease of deployment a 3 out of 5.

I really enjoyed how easy it was to through the process. Very well organized compared to other on-boarding apps have used in the past. GUI is easy on the eyes and has good flow. When I logged out and back in, was right where I left off. Really enjoyed seeing the team I am working with and all the new hires coming on board with me.
I did experience when I was signing a document the information boxes covered some of the content to view what I needed to input into a couple of boxes. Overlay was hiding text. I eventually figured out. This was the only thing the I ran into.

Easy ability to onboard new hires and ensure that they have all the right information, access and set up before they arrive on their first day.
Easy of use and the ability for many people to use it (HR, recruiting, manager, employees and new hires). The support of the tool is excellent too. Sapling has customer success reps who are almost always available to assist with any features or requests.
The new layout is a little more confusing to use than the old one and slightly more clunky. Once you get used to it, it's not so bad.

This tool has helped me start my remote job in a very organized way. I got the instructions from the Peoples Ops team even before my start date through Sapling. It also helped me meet my new colleagues while working remotely.
It is not necessarily that I don't like but I wish there were more features implemented in your applications.

It's easy to use. I don't have to figure out the steps of the process myself. The software gives me cues when a task is done and when I need to move on to the next task.
It's very glitchy on a phone. I tried on-boarding through my phone, it was very tedious. I couldn't understand what was missing, site isn't responsive enough for a phone.

I was hired into a new job, and had sapling access day 1. It was an amazing resource for me as a new hire. It gave me a plethora of information that was well organized, informative and very intuitive to use.
I have not been using it very long, but no Cons so far!

The software is very easy to use. I can easily find anything that is available.
The webpage is sometimes slow to load. Also, the Team members component is a bit awkward to use when looking up multiple people: I cannot open a link (with a team member) in a new tab and must open each link in the same window. When I go back in history to the list, the page needs to reload itself and the pagination preference doesn't persist.

Sapling made onboarding to my new company smooth and easy. I appreciated that I could find all the information I would need in one place. It was helpful to be able to write a short bio for myself to introduce (or reintroduce myself) to team member and to put names to faces before arriving on my first day. Also, having a timeline of the company's history was interesting to see what milestones they placed value on.
I really haven't had any negatives with Sapling yet. For the needs of onboarding as a new employee, it met all the criteria I can think of.

I like that I can see tasks easily and check things off. It is nice that everything can be linked so you can be directed straight to a different site
I haven't used it enough to notice any cons yet. I like how easy it is to use and that I was able to learn it quickly

I used Sapling to onboard with my company (ProcturU) and the experience was wonderful in terms of ease of usage, navigation from one point to another and how personable some questions were in terms of getting to know more about me as a person.
I truly like the ease of usage and the ability to navigate seamless.
At this time, because of my optimal experience with Sapling, I don't see any cons or anything that needs improvement.

Easy to onboard new staff members.
Makes paperwork easy to get through, don't need to bring in all my documents and wait until I'm actually in the office to get started. Sleek interface, efficient movement between sections and helpful customer service.
Submit button would often be a little slow to let you through to the next page (despite the fact all required fields were filled) so didn't move through pages as quickly as possible.

The UI seems friendly and responsive. The design is solid and modern.
Not very good at dealing with dropped connections (LTE hotspot, etc.)

Overall great.
I liked the personalization of the messaging and branding as it came from the organization. There was a heads up as to what to expect - where to go and made me feel that there is a plan in place to ensure my success. It made me feel that the company cared about it's new hires. I like that you can meet the team and connect with them prior to your start.
The request to write up a profile was required and it didn't let me know what would happen - would it be immediately published - could I change it later? Who would see it? (it could very well be how it was configured and communicated by my company) I wish that you could enter your information once and it would pre-populate (Name, SS, DOB etc for onboarding docs)

Very simple step by step process to complete the flow. Uploading and reviewing documents was very simple as well. The pages seem very well polished and look modern compared to other HR web apps I've used in the past.
There are no error messages displayed for required fields and they can be hard to notice. Another improvement I would suggest is to split up some of the forms into multiple pages or have a way to save progress.

Great for welcoming new hires and alleviating the awkwardness of new day jitters with a new company. I love the access to all of my paperwork and the color coded and dates workflow.

How easy the implementation was! We were able to start using Sapling almost instantly, which meant we were able to speed up our onboarding process and save time right from day one.
There are some features which were not so intuitive, and we had to ask how to do them. But once you know what to do, it is easy to use.

Since our company has operations across multiple states, using Sapling is a perfect solution to keep everyone connected.
I liked how I was able to connect with my coworkers, see recent new hires, see my work team and also connect to my company's intranet.
I don't like that all the documents uploaded to the software needed to be in pdf format.

I am completing a on boarding experience with a company. I love how easy it is to see everything in one spot, communicate with all team members and members of management, and send them necessary information (ie: documents)

Sapling provides a good interactive experience that eliminates duplicate efforts while attempting to accurately track important data for both the employee and management perspective.
In getting up and running, the directive on how to load historical data from the employee perspective was vague.

I love the task center, it made onboarding easy. I'm not a fan of text box minimums on reviews......
I didn't like that there were authentication scenarios that were not addressed, like being logged in for the first time and my session expiring led to some weird interactions of having to log out entirely and start over. Also, some tasks wouldn't show up in the list until I deleted my cookies and started over. (I actually contacted your support team about it).

I really liked how I was given access to customer support right off the bat. The two people I was put in contact with through the chat feature were very friendly and helpful.
I wasn't a huge fan of how I uploaded my profile image, it sort of altered the original aesthetic of the photo.
