Seamless Process

Pros

Sapling made my onboarding process for my new job so easy and straightforward. Being able to fill everything in from home before my first day and have it upload so simply was so helpful!

Cons

I accidentally went back a page and it deleted everything I had already filled out on the current page.

Pros

I used Sapling to onboard my new job, and it was very straightforward and user friendly. Everything was easy to understand, and if I had any questions, chat function was readily available.

Cons

I really have no complaints. I used the software to onboard, and have run into no issues so far.

Pros

Sapling felt intuitive and elegant. It provided just enough information and not too much. The documents required for on boarding were easy to f find and fill out.

Cons

Not much. Keep it simple and easy to navigate.

Pros

Simplicity, the way it shows information and let me keep tracking for my personal information.

Cons

Maybe there are a couple of information asked that is not that relevant for me.

Good place to get new employees comfortable

Pros

It is organized and easy to understand. It also made me feel comfortable that there are several new joinees like me who are joining.

Cons

nothing stood out but if I have to be picky, I'd say it might be a good idea to add number of tasks remaining to the updates summary page.

Compass used Sapling for onboarding and it was very helpful.

Pros

It was extremely clear to use and quick. Made the process very easy when in the past the onboarding process was more difficult.

Cons

I do not have any criticism of the software, I think it was very good.

Pros

Having a list of what I needed to accomplish during onboarding was extremely helpful and allowed me to stay focused as I ramped up.

Cons

Could have been better integrated with other tools I was using like Slack and Gmail.

My overall experience was great. Very organized and no issues at all.

Pros

Very easy to use. I did not have any trouble figuring out how to use it and where to go.

Cons

I noticed some links in the documents where not clickable until downloaded.

Pros

The emails reminding you about HR pending activities.

Cons

Some interfaces have bugs. For example, I cannot properly scroll the Org Chart . I haven't tried other platforms, might be a problem only when using Chrome on Mac.

Pros

Very intuitive and easy to use. I had no problems going through the process of pre-boarding.

Cons

Only complaint was that the text identifying the headers was grey on a background of white, making it hard to see where exactly the boxes to type were.

I was able to read so much about the company and am able to prepare for my first day very easily from the tasks that were assigned to me.

Cons

The initial log-in process. You have to say that you forgot your password before creating a new account.

This was my very first time using it. So far, so good.

Pros

It was very user friendly and had a great interface. It also feels personal.

Cons

I actually can't think of anything right now but my boss did mention some back-end stuff. I guess I'll find out...

The rest of the experience was seamless.

Pros

The chat option worked well and my questions were responded to by the team.

Cons

The original link to sign in did not work. I had to modify the URL and use the forgot password to login to my account.

Cons

The past due reminders can be a little aggressive at times. I received several alerts saying I was past due starting on day 1.

Great as a directory and helped me onboard smoothly

Have had a pretty smooth experience with the product in helping me onboard and do my documentation before starting. Was very impressed that i could upload my I-9 stuff which I've never been able to do before. Like the directory but wish it was more feature filled because at this point I'll probably use Sapling pretty rarely.

Pros

- Directory Table and way to look up people to find their manager / team - Easy to upload documents on onboarding - attractive interface

Cons

- a little laggy - Wish there was more comprehensive org charts - wish there was some sort of seating chart feature or something of the sort

Pros

Overall, the software was good. It was fairly easy to use and very intuitive.

Cons

For items I had to sign, I was required to upload an image for each document rather than being able to load it once and use it for all of them.

No additional help given for tax forms, and some tax forms that require a worksheet don't have the worksheet lines fillable.
