Pros

Humanity is a good tool for scheduling and managing human capital. One of the best features is the ability to look at all of an employees data in one place.
The overall functionality and features, ease of use, ease of implementation and acceptance, excellent customer support, cost, adaptability, and "bang for bucks" is exceptional.
If you have a small business like a restaurant or retail store this system is great. I like the ability to clock in remotely with a picture of the gps location.

Pros

Ease of use for both parties is fantastic and it's well worth paying for to save the time. When I change places of business, if I have a choice, I will choose When I Work again and again.
We also enjoyed the super friendly customer service coupled with an online chat box. It was also wonderful to receive a mailer from them even after discontinuing use.
When I Work is such a great scheduling solution for almost any business with more than one employee. It offers tons of great features at reasonable prices compared to some of their competitors.

Cons

The ONLY thing that I have to say that’s negative is that sometimes when I clock out, the app will freeze up or lag for a few seconds.
If Humanity were to send notifications when new shifts become available, as well as text message reminders/updates instead of email reminders getting lost in the inbox.
There is a bug with the dashboard view and the photo snapshot for the shift acknowledge that most of the time crash on the internet version of the app.

Cons

Tried again and found more bugs. This service is nothing but a headache and a borderline scam.
I think it can be a little bit more user-friendly. I would have been lost if I did not receive any instruction from my department.
I urge every customer who uses this program to check their billing to see what they are being charged for.

Keeping tract when I work

Pros

How I get reminders about my next shift/when the new schedule is out. I have the ability to post my avaliable times/days.

Cons

At first glance can't see who I'm working with, I would have to find it within the app. And nor in the beginning of my training I was not emailed about the schedule on humanity, in result I was late on my first day.

Best bang for your buck for schedule software I have found. Way more affordable than Humanity and has all the same features.

Pros

I loved the easy to use format. It was quick, simple and had all the features needed to run a mixed fleet of self-employed couriers with a warehouse full of employees as well. It is a nimble system. The cost is also very reasonable.

Cons

The only con for us was that due to our customer service we have very custom needs for our app integration and the development decision to go with Ceridian was due to its all-in-one nature. When I work is an excellent stand-alone product, but is not an all-in-one system that also does HRIS, Benefits admin and Payroll.
