Successfactors looks great and makes it easy to use the software. It can be effortlessly integrated into the SAP ecosystem, including the classic HCM on Prem system. Very solid product. Clear Buy recommendation.
There are few individualizations possible as with an HCM on Prem system.

I have been working on SAP HCM for 6-8 years. SAP HCM is the best for HR activities - for multiple reasons - being robust, seamless integration with other SAP solutions for example: SAP Finance.

SAP HCM is a very powerful tool in terms of managing your workforce. It's best feature is the payroll run.
The initial pain of setting this up takes up a lot of time and resources. Also, the SAP license is quite pricy.

The HXM suite covers all the features of payroll, HR, recruiting , training, onboarding within a company , Since it covers all the features which is necessary for a company to function , buying the suite makes sense.
The user experience is not that great , to it comparison Workday is very smooth.

Overall, the SAP HCM software is great and is highly sophisticated when it comes to advanced reporting and metrics. The program, initially, is not the most user-friendly, however once users become proficient, it’s a highly advanced and multi-functional system which I would recommend.
This software is highly functional from a HCM perspective and provides users with great analytics for the purpose of ongoing organizational metrics in the areas of recruitment, talent management, compensation.
The implementation was challenging in that upgrades would be pushed through without notice and as a result, the system would not function as it had been programmed initially. Customer service was decent, but troubleshooting technical issues and identifying the system error sources was difficult.

The Compensation Planning module is very powerful. There is functionality particularly with Executive Review that is not offered by other vendors. The goal and Performance modules are highly configurable and equal to anything else offered on the market. The user interface is better than what I have experienced working with other vendors/products.
ATS still is lagging the other leaders in the segment. EC is a great product, but not as easy to navigate as Workday.

Overall I am happy to use SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suit as it has all the configuration which is required for any business and also it need very minimum IT resources and also we can access it on mobile as well.
As I also used SAP ERP so when I switched to Success Factors HCM Suit I found this very easy to use and have all the feature which was lacking in SAP ERP. This is cloud based which make it more popular and also it has very highly configuration compare then SAP ERP. We can access it on mobile as well.
This software has very highly configuration but it is not customizable.

If you would like to compare it to the mobile phone market, it could be seen as the Samsung in the market, whereas Workday is the Apple in the market. SuccessFactors doesn't give the Apple kind of feeling, but by far has better (and more) options inside, whereas Workday tends to be perceived as a bit easier to some customers, while you do loose a lot of functionality.
- Highly flexible for a cloud based product; - Offers a lot of options to customise as a customer after the implementation.
- Has a lot of features that won't be useful to a lot of customers; - Doesn't always give you the feeling it's one system if you combine various modules.

Having this software is a great tool for HR professionals. It lessens our work on Data Management and it also minimizes the use of paper which is beneficial to our nature. There are just some technical issues with access management but easily managed by their support team. Overall, I am thankful my company has this system as it saves me more time and made my tasks easier, thus, I can focus on other things that we have yet to automate.
I like that this software have a lot to offer although our company has decided to blend it to Oracle HCM as it was our old system and we cannot easily shift to SAP. It is very easy to use and it covers from onboarding, performance management, data management, payroll until offboarding.
There are a number of instance of having access errors for our employee's portal.

Overall good software with in depth details and management highly suitable for large enterprises.
Success factors is US based company which provides solution for Human Capital management, now this company is acquired by SAP AG. 1. Success factors provides human capital management solutions for large enterprises 2. It provides complete solutions starting from KRA/ KPI management, Learning and Development, Talent acquisition etc which cater most HR department requirement. 3. It has complete customization available which can be changed according to need of the organization. 4. In depth analysis of data/ details can be done from administrator account which gives complete overview.
1. Pricing for software is on higher side which mostly large enterprises can only afford. 2. User interface needs improvement, it is not much user friendly and hence proper awareness is to be imparted to users who are going to use it. 3. It lakes seamless integration with various SAP modules. 4. Sometime its complexity is such that excel based HCM seems like more suitable

SuccessFactors (SF) is SAP's version of trying to compete with Workday or other similar platforms. Although SF is a customization product which doesn't exist in traditional HRIS systems, you ultimately end up paying more for the customization because companies are required for coders to build sync reporting to existing systems. Additionally, for the average user, SF and SAP are antiquated and hard to learn.
Customization
Almost 90% of the product is a con.

The main focus of SAP HCM is employee administration: which gives basic, personnel-related data, and leverages a centralized database that enables employees and management to access up-to-date, consistent information that supports HR- and business-related decisions. Global employee management allows to supports processes involved in international employee relocation, including planning and preparation...
Talent management analytics: which allows for employee skill/qualification analysis; recruiting process evaluation; learning program effectiveness measures; succession program assessment; cost-benefit analyses of employee compensation programs.
Training and SOX deployment is bit difficult

Workday as a cloud solution was good. I work on SAP mostly, but when I talked to couple of HCM consultants, they said the flexibility to do customization is really NOT a lot. For ex: SAP would be more flexible for customization.
Ease of Use Less time to see ROI
Not flexible for customization

Workday's implementation of Service delivery feature/functionality related to Call Center's will help organization lower their cost by moving away from Salesforce CRM.
Workday is the leading cloud based ERP. Oracle and SAP have been late to the market when looking at the Higher Education Market.
Student Module needs additional features and functionality. Workday is about 2 years away from providing a complete SIS environment for the Higher Ed segment.

We are able to streamline and centralise our access into a single source system and with an app, we are able to manage employees and our profiles on the go.
We recently transitioned to the software from SAP/Oracle and the modern interface was well received, with it being easy to identify the key areas, including compensation, bonus and payslips.
At some time we found the navigation confusing as new users, for examples locating our documents were not as straight forward as looking at our payslip

Mostly great. Moved from an SAP based HR management system that was difficult to configure and required repeated employee training. The guided workflows are key to the product.
Coming from an SAP based HR management system WorkDay is a breath of fresh air. The UI and guided workflows make tasks much easier. The ability to configure workflows and notifications are extremely useful for both simple and complex tasks.
At times it can be difficult to find specific information if you haven't received a notification for it. Also, we have implemented the org chart feature and not being able to export a printable version (that I know of) has been an issue.

Workday is most productive as a full suite offering. It is way too costly if Brocken up.
I love how workday has the full HR suite under one roof. This makes payroll masses easier. It also provides a solid app.
If there was something I could change while keeping the service the sales is how much it costs overall.

Most smoothest product i have used in Human Resources. This product has all the key points you require and user friendliness makes it more valuable to customers like us who look for products which can simplify their work and reduce the time waste while running payroll; handling grievances; or taking care of employee data. But it does need a lot of knowledge transfer from the seniors who knows Workday better.
Well it's a commercial product like Oracle and SAP and i would consider it is one of the best by far as it is on cloud so i don't have any cons for it you just need to have a really good internet connection.

Workday is incredibly easy to deploy in a large 5,000+ employee organization. It has been incredibly helpful to bundle pay stubs, annual HR performance reviews, payroll, etc. into one software suite.
A little tricky when used outside the corporate intranet.

1. Lots of features integrated within the Workday suite makes it a very comprehensive tool to be considered for any large organization 2. The ability to extract and download historical timesheets is a very good feature for any employee to monitor his/her performance
1. Understanding and using the entire workflow and tool can be a little confusing at times 2. Some options are little tricky to find and use - multiple hierarchy - options within option can be little irritating at times. This again requires some bit of training and practice from the user side

it offers a comprehensive suite of tools for managing all aspects of human resources, including employee information, benefits, payroll, time and attendance, and more. Additionally, the platform is user-friendly, has a mobile app for easy access, provides robust reporting and analytics, and emphasizes security and data privacy. Overall, Workday helps streamline HR processes and provides valuable insights into the workforce
it can be clunky to use at times. The user interface can be overwhelming, with too many options and menu items, which can make navigation and task completion challenging. Additionally, some of the processes within the platform, such as reporting and analytics, can be slow and time-consuming
