We took a look at your account set up and noticed that employees had not been invited to set up their Wagepoint self-serve accounts. We have taken care of this on our end, so moving forward, your employees will receive an email notification to let them know their pay stubs are ready for viewing.
As for the vacation accrual, would you be interested in a demo of our paid time off management app, Luna? It's fully integrated with Wagepoint and vacation balances are automatically updated. It might help with the issue you are experiencing.

Easy to use and setup the payroll for our company so it will be able to grow with us.

Pros

Easy to access reports and very simple to set up the portal for our employees to get their stubs.

Cons

There could be some better how to information on site and if all types of income being paid could be visible at the same time on the data entry page would be good.

Great for small business to manage payroll

Pros

Payroll is processed and they automatically deposit into our accounts.

Cons

It was difficult to set up. I have no payroll or tax background and I was confused as to what I needed to do to comply with state and federal laws.

Great payroll software and service, but could use polish

Really looking forward to it becoming fuller (would be amazing to see scheduling and timesheet management!). Customer service is e-mail only, but they are super helpful and thorough.

Cons

Reports could be more customizable. Like totals for specific time periods.

- simple, quick, easy to use - great "bang for your buck"

- simple, straight-forward, easy to use - clean interface - easy for employees to login and see paystubs/pay history & change banking info

Cons

- no user levels - either employee or admin, without any options in between to enable "approval flows", etc.

Constantly changing, customer service is sub par

The interface is attractive and colourful, all back end accounting is done easily and prepared for you.

Cons

Customer services takes their time to review support requests, communication lacks from this company, constantly changing the site and functions making it a learning curve every time you run payroll.

The best choice for a small - medium business

There are a couple of features that I would like to see added, but otherwise the UI and functionality are quite good.

Pros

I also really appreciate the reminder emails.

Cons

I would like the software to pro-rate pay if I have a new employee starting mid pay period.

We recommend clients use Wagepoint all the time. It's easy to set up, easy to use and the support is second to none.

Pros

Ability to pay WSIB through Wagepoint as well as filing ROEs and allowing employees to portions of their wage deposits to multiple accounts to make savings easier Integration with Deputy and Xero work well

Most User Friendly Payroll Company I've Used to date!

Pros

The website is very easy to use both as administrator and an employee. I've used other payroll companies (Payworks & Ceridian) both as an administrator and an employee and found this very user friendly compared to other sites.

Cons

I haven't had to use customer service yet for anything however our administrator has and I know he's said they have been incredibly helpful any time he has required any help or had questions.

I hated that I was asking my employees to also use such an outdated piece of software that would also cause them frustration and pain.

Pros

I'm never late with payroll because of a holiday. My employees enjoy using Wagepoint.

Cons

I honestly have never come across a con while using this software. Anytime I've had a question I get immediate support.

From the moment I took part in the walk through of Wagepoint with Troy, I knew this software would benefit us. The software seemed extremely user friendly and I was anxious to test it. Once I began using the software, it exceeded all expectation. Wagepoint has helped turn the dreaded task of payroll, into something I enjoy doing.

Much easier to use than ADP, my questions are usually answered in the FAQs, I really liked how someone reached out to us when we reached the exemption for EHT, overall a great tool!

Pros

Support is great and thorough, makes payroll pretty easy, easy to onboard employee, love bank confirmation just ensures the numbers are right, accommodates Canadian payroll pretty well which is not always the case with softwares

Cons

Exporting to Xero has messed up a few times, sometimes payroll freezes as it's processing especially when adding additional income types.

The project was a complete waste of time due to Wagepoint.

Cons

If a company cannot be trusted to communicate without improperly sending communications to another party, I could not in good faith trust them to handle our employees banking and other personal information.

We are a Canadian base company with only few employees in the USA and Alex and Ralph were able to answer all queries I sent even the ones I wasn't sure were so easy to read....for they were hard to write.

we had to work a little on the "PTO" bank for not everyone get vacation in the US and at times it was tricky...but corrections took no time and were done with "a smile"

Wagepoint staff are remarkable!

Pros

I love the ease in which to enter all my employee data, have my own control over input without depending on a customer service rep to call me and communicate information over the phone.

Cons

At this point I don't see any negative aspects. I have not yet tried to input payroll from another area other than my computer at work, so I'm looking forward to trying that out one day.

I have had previous experience with a different major payroll service provider and they are not even in the same league as Wagepoint when it comes to Customer Service.

Wagepoint does that for us by providing each employees with online access to all their personal information.
