Our company began using Clockwise about a year ago. I find it very easy to enter my time, complete and submit my time sheet, find my leave balances, print off my W-2's, etc. It is much easier than using the paper time sheets of years ago or the Excel time sheets we used prior to Clockwise.
I really can't think of anything I don't like about the software, from a user's point of view. I sometimes forget to clock in when I begin work, but that is certainly not the fault of Clockwise!

The overall experience has been positive. The tool has made our organization more productive by effectively utilizing time and allowing us to collaborate
The tool allows us to effectively manage time on the calendar. It has the ability to block time for lunch, catch up on projects and securing thinking time on the calendar
The software needs to be more intelligent and not block of time when it is needed to collaborate with the team. we have found that time is blocked on calendars when it is actually available for productive work

Excellent experience! I've only encountered one problem and was able to have it resolved in a timely manner. When the customer service rep needed to find out some information for me, he returned my call within minutes with the correct solutions. I value excellent customer service.
The feature I like the most is the ease of the software and the ability to navigate easily between pages, tabs and fields.
When you have to edit in the time keeping fields and need to type in the comment the reason why, the process would work it would work better/quicker if you could type the reason for the edit in just one field for multiple days and not type in the same information for each individual day for that week.

We had been using an online entry application, but needed to print timesheets for supervisors to approve. When we were forced to remote work due to the pandemic, this approach was no longer viable. Clockwise provided a way to address the issue, provide exports to QuickBooks for our billing purposes, and provide adequate reporting options for our needs.
Clockwise was the least costly tool for us to allow online hours entry, supervisor review and approval, when we went to remote work due to Covid. Customer support is very good, although once up and running we have not run into many problems.
The product only effectively supports 2 levels of a Work Breakdown Structure. Since we have mostly small contracts, this has not been an issue, but would be helpful to support more levels as we grow into larger projects.

we are able to get timesheets faster.
I like that I am able to import employees' time into my payroll software. I also like the ability to see when an employee changes their timesheet.
I wish the muliple timesheet feature worked better. I also wish I could look at timesheets one week at a time and get the totals.

Any issue we have the customer service helps us asap. We never have to wait hours or until next day. They work on it when we contact them until it is corrected. I love the fact that they explain what the issue was and how to fix it in the future. All employees are respectful and courtesy to us.
This software fits our needs where employees are able to input their timesheet via cell phone. They are able to take a photo of their receipts and attach it to their timesheet so that their expenses are current. We use it as an import/export with the accounting software GMS. Being able to upload paystubs is a great help.
1. Reports that we could create ourselves, the standard reports might miss an item needed. 2. You have to open a new timesheet to get to the date range you want, then click the arrows back. 3. Would like to see an easier way to open attachments, if they were on the first screen also it would be easier. 4. If new hire entry could be stream lined, as a copy another employee's basic coding then add the individual employees information.

The experience has been good from the sale and years later they are still very responsive when I need support.
The ability to integrate with Quickbooks for time tracking and leave management.
Setting up charge codes in Clockwise is tedious and if you have an extra space you will get a generic error that the row can’t be imported.

It has been easy to get it set up. It was easy to learn. It was easy to train employees, because it is somewhat self-explanatory.
I like that the software is almost fool-proof. No-one in our agency has been able to bog it down or make any kind of critical errors.
When I download the time sheets into a text document, I have to download the whole group. I cannot select the employees to be downloaded.

It has helped me track my meeting hours and better schedule my work time slots throughout the week. Receiving a summary of your activities helps generate conscience about where you are spending your time. When you see that timer reach 20 hour of weekly meeting... well is time for a change. In summary it is easy to start and take advantages of the features.
When most of your meetings are external is impossible to use the flexible meeting feature.

Good
I really like the integrations, able to integrate with other work apps for effective use. It is a simple plug-and-play solution to set up meetings and schedule the working hours.
Setup is little confusing for a first timer.

Love it! Keep up the great work.
This software is easy to implement and use. The on-boarding team helped us figure out how the software works with our accounting system (Quickbooks). It saves me time and is less costly than other programs. Clockwise is also very "forgiving" with mistakes. It is easy to fix issues or mistakes. The new app for phones is very convenient too.
The "Leave Request" area still has a few bugs to work out. If our employees request a solid block of time, the PTO is logged for weekends as well.

The "weekend warrior" leave request is one we look forward to make easier for all those who do not have weekend workers. The benefit I received from the software is not having to fill-out a paper timesheet and submitting it for approval.
What I like most about this software is that it is convenient and can be access anywhere. It also gives an accurate account of when you clock-in and clock-out at various locations.

The system set up was quick and painless. Support is very prompt and responsive. This system has made my job so much easier!
Clockwise is a fairly easy to use, intuitive system. I had a brief call with the implementation team, then I was off and running! I have also found it very reliable, no glitches to speak of at all. I work for a mid-sized (300 employees) privately owned company. The system offers all the features I needed; it actually offers much more than I needed.
The user training could be beefed up some. When I find myself calling support it's usually for things I don't do often (such as creating new departments and cost codes). A detailed user guide would be helpful.

I have needed some reports and formatting that the Clockwise support team had to help me with. They did an excellent job and were very responsive.
Clockwise allows our employees to fill out their timecards from almost anywhere. Reports work well.
Lots of the defaults when doing things are blank so you have to select them every time. It would be nice if you could save some values for defaults. I have never been able to successfully setup and use the QuickBooks interface with Clockwise. I just doesn't seem to be easy and when I was close to competing it, there was a software change that caused me to have to start all over again. :-(

Very satisfied with it and with support - very helpful when we needed features added.
Easy to use, tracks time as we need to, allowing us to break up by customer, project within customer, and project within corporate, as well as leave (holidays, vacation, sick). Also, the News feature is great to get corporate news out - not everyone checks their email, but everyone has to enter time, so they have to see the news posted first. This is a very valuable feature, which we wish were a little more robust.
The News feature could be more robust - "blows up" on us if we put too many characters in - we use this feature extensively and find it very valuable.

When a service request is made, the response and resolution was very quick. This is great customer service!

We have not had many problems with Clockwise. When we do, their customer service has been responsive in helping.
Lets supervisors take control of having the leave information to approve leave requests and to approve timesheets. Timesheet information can be entered daily by programs. Programs can be added or changed easily. It integrates with our accounting software to import timesheets and allows the export from the accounting software of paystubs and leave balances back into Clockwise. Therefore, employees get their paystubs and W-2s online. It saves time from not having to manually entering timesheet information.
It can be a little complicated setting up supervisors. Our payroll is biweekly, but we have employees fill out their timesheets weekly and have supervisors sign them weekly. It is unfortunate that the leave taken the first week does not reduce the available leave for the second week. If we did the two weeks together, it would alert you when you recorded more leave than you have.

For me having customer support folks that I can get in touch with and who are extremely responsive is my number one thing. These guys are on top of it, available and have helped me to get back on track quickly every time I've ever had to call them (which has not been frequently).
Software is intuitive and easy to use. The customer support folks, when there are questions, are terrific, know their stuff and very helpful.
The error messages can be a bit cryptic at times but customer support has always solved quickly when we had something off in our data generation.

The software is very user friendly, and allows our employees to track their hours, vacation and sick leave easily. As an administrator, I appreciate the ease in which I can generate reports for payroll and invoicing. Customer service has also been top notch when I've had any questions. Highly recommend this software to those small businesses needing a time keeping system.
I like most the ease in using the software, the ability to generate reports and the fact that it tracks not only hours, but PTO.
I do not have any cons regarding this software to date.

Customer service is outstanding. Easy and quick setup. Been using Clockwise for over 3 years, and will likely never leave.
DCAA compliant, easy to use for employees, easy for admins to set up and modify charge codes.
No mobile app yet. Mobile app would permit those employees who work at sites without internet access to easily complete timesheets as soon as they walk out the door.

Being able to see when the employees have clocked in. Importing the timesheet into GMS is so easy. the ease of clocking in/out with a punch.
Not being able to delete or edit leave requests when they have been approved and you are no longer using the leave for that period.
Hello When reviewing Leave requests as an Supervisor, limit the results to only requested leave and change the date range from the entire year to only include a specific date range to start and an end of the year date.
