It's unfortunate that this tool doesn't link up with our PM tool, Asana. There's no 'undo' button if you accidentally click and drag a booking unknowingly.

Great Resource for Employees to Clock In/Out

I have never had any issues with When I Work. It has been a great resource at my job!

Pros

When I Work is a great resource for our team. It allows employees to easily clock in and out from their own devices. You can also update your availability and request time off through their app.

Cons

Some of the navigation in the mobile app can be tricky to remember, but once you get used to it, the app is user friendly.

An Awesome Tool!

Our team of sales managers has found When I Work to be a great resource in keeping track of our sales reps' time as they cover most southeastern states. Also, it has a great messaging tool that helps our managers communicate with their team members better.

Pros

When I Work is an invaluable tool to any HR team as it provides great resources for scheduling employees, tracking time, and communicating with your teams.

Cons

When I Work has been an awesome resource for our sales management who has teams all across the south eastern region. As such, they have found this software to be beneficial in keeping abreast of vital data from their employees.

When I work is a blessing in my office!

Pros

"When I work" is extremely easy to use. It is user-friendly and allows a manager and staff to keep track of the schedule easier than a printed calendar version. The staff is able to switch shifts and you are notified. It is a great resource.

Cons

I have nothing specific that needs to be changed! The app has made improvements over the years and I am happy with it. Overall great app!

Best scheduling resource I've used

Pros

This app makes it super easy to clock in and out of work. You can also go in and edit any times that you forgot to clock in or clocked in/out late for some reason. That layout makes it easy to see your schedule and you can also see who else is scheduled and in what position. You can also request PTO and time off and indicate whether it's paid or unpaid and add notes to your request. It's just an overall really great resource to have for any type of business.

Cons

The only con would be that if you have your location services on, it will create a flag if you're not a specific location of your workplace when you clock in or out. That can easily be avoided by turning off the location service on that app though.

I love the program and it's a great asset to my company. As my company grows this program will be able to grow with it. Under features and functionality I only rated it 4 stars, because I feel that it's missing one feature. That one feature is being able to record no call/no shows, excused or unexcused absences. Customer service and the ease of the program.

Cons

When selecting on multiple locations it would be nice to only see the employees that are given rights to that location along with the ones who have hours scheduled. Currently if anyone is give rights to that location you see them on the schedule. That creates a very messy and hard to read screen. It would be nice to only see the ones that are currently scheduled to reduce the clutter.

Excellent utilization tracker

I like the idea and the new updates were awesome! Made editing bookings a breeze.

Pros

I like that I can forecast and update my schedule, as well as to let others know when I am needing more work.

Cons

If someone else books your work, they have to delete or change it. If my schedule changes and the booker is not available to change it then it causes problems on my end.

Overall, my experience is good! I like the option to email me every morning what is planned for the day :)

Pros

It is very easy and clear to use. It is a very useful tool!

Cons

I'd wish I could structure my hours (what time to work on what for example) and align it with my Google Calendar. Now, when connecting it to Google Calendar I can only see that I have to work 8 hours on something, but not what times etc.
