It's simple to use for any employee's degree. Setting up schedules is fast and simple.
Any schedule change is less intuitive. No smart tools to assist on schedule customization.

Being able to easily put together a schedule for my seasonal employees and see the number of hours they are working. No more guessing and doing the math in my head. No more trying to find a calendar and attempt to piece together options. This just makes my scheduling process so easy!
I like that I can have shift templates so I can easily assign a regular shift in just a few clicks. It will also give me the total number of hours that they are being paid to work and I can assign the length of the break.
As a free member you can not schedule for more than a week out. So if you do your schedule on Tuesday for the following week you can only do the schedule up until Thursday. Too bad that once you start a week the following week doesn't become available to schedule.

ease of schedule
Regular reminders on schedule, ease of swapping, ease of notification to supervisor for emergencies.
There is nothing negative to say, email updates, app functionality, layout, ease of use, all top notch.

Very easy to track employees schedule and instant notification about picking up or dropping shifts
It would be great to see the employee’s full availability for the weekly schedule.

I use it to organize and schedule team work for severals projet .
The customer service of this app is very effective , you will have a quick reply as soon as you ask a question .
The software is a little complex at the begining , but you have all the informations that you need when you ask .

It was okay and i got my schedule but it still needs some tweaks
I liked that i could see who i was working with and schedule changes
It was hard to change days off. It wasnt very mobile friendly

It was easy to find replacements on the schedule, and for that, I liked When I Work. It takes away that awkward call to your manager asking for help in finding someone to cover your shift.It also elminates the "Oh I didn't get your call" from other staff members when you are trying to get a shift covered.
It was nice to be able to get notified when schedules for work were up. I feel like this enabled our staff to know more in advance what the next two weeks looked like. Each staff members qualifications to cover certain shifts was helpful too.
As a staff member who used it for schedule notification - I didn't have much problem using it.

I was there was color coding and more notes to put in.

I used to help my co working to set up their schedule, cause they were so confused about their schedule.
What i like most about this software, it help you to organize your work schedule, and you can add some days that you won't be available to work.
What i like least about this software, it is very difficult to set up your schedule and complicated but after getting used to it, it will be easier for you to manage it.

Great for managers looking at the schedule, great for employees having a mobile schedule and for producing our payroll data.
The user interface is easy to use, everything we need to track has it's place. The software is extremely customization to whatever business situation it is used for. The color coded shift blocks are great and I also love the usefulness and functionality of the mobile app.
The main issue is getting people to use the app properly. This is more of a training issue and making society stop using sticky notes and paper. We do have a lot of need for tracking missed check-ins, but this is also an employee issue. ")

Its a good system but could use a few updates to make it easier and faster.
The software is great for what we use it for in regards to scheduling. Its very easy to drag and drop things into people shifts. Its very easy to add an employee into the system as well.
Repeating schedules, I wish it was easy to create someone's schedule as our schedules repeat often.

The app is so much better than writing a schedule on paper. It helps me schedule at ease. I can do it in like 5 min just from my phone even if im out of town. My staff love it too and enjoy using on their phones rather than getting someone to take pictures of the schedule. Super easy Love it. Thank You When I Work Team.
all the features it comes with such as timeclock, requests off, shift changes, etc.
besides that I have to upgrade to get certain features though I dont have that many staff members. Such as timeclock but its ok.

it has helped make sending out the schedule easier, as well has helped keep track of previous schedules. it has also made our timesheets easier being all on a phone or a computer. all in all its pretty good, but I do wish it ran a little smother, and did not have so many glitches.
