Pros

Score information is very helpful to our recruiting and hiring process.

Cons

There should be a feature that allows a company to have current employees take the Wonderlic so we can gain better insight on the current employees performance v.v. their Wonscore.

Wonderlic is being used as an assessment for executive level positions.

Pros

Wonderlic provides insights into an individual's characteristics that are likely to positively or negatively impact success in an executive level role. Without this tool, it would be impossible to glean that information through behavioral and situational interviews alone.

The functionality to save the report isn't efficient.

Pros

Very straightforward and easy to use. Each profile is easy to set-up and administer.

Cons

The summary report features are very lacking and even the ability to print an individual report is not printer friendly.

I am a relatively new user, having only sourced a handful of candidates thus far, but I am impressed with the ease of use, reasonable pricing and reporting formats.

Pros

I really like the ability to put our account on "pause", avoiding monthly charges when I am not actively recruiting.

Cons

I wish I could pick & choose from Wonscore's job profile responsibilities when creating Job Openings so I could build a more accurate job profile.

"Results are unpredictable"

50% happy and 50% unhappy.

Pros

It will notify you candidates activity. Customer service is excellent, there is a small chat window on the right lower end and the response time is quick.

Cons

The results are unpredictable, we had our current employees take the test and it showed us they are not a good fit for the role they are in..

Pros

Reviewing the analysis expedites our pre-screening process and helps us save tons of time!

Cons

We often get people that do not complete the assessment - not sure if that's a problem with the software or they just lose patience.

Wonscore from Wonderlic Review

I like that it is easy to use and it is a yearly subscription versus cost per assessment. I would like to be able to explain why candidates scored they way they did to hiring managers.

Pros

Very easy to administer assessments and view the results of assessments.

Cons

Most of my hiring managers don't question assessment results, but sometimes, for example, a candidate will score low on stay, but they have been working for us as a temp employee for 3 months.

Customer support was always very helpful and made the experience great.

It had a very simple display which was great considering we are a larger company who has many employees using Wonscore daily. It's design was very easy to maneuver and understand.

Pros

It was very self explanatory and didn't have too many features which might have given an overwhelming experience.

Cons

I didn't like how it did not allow you to benchmark your own employees. I am not sure if this was an option that was offered or not, but bench marking would make the scores much more applicable to our own organization.

Added data to our hiring process

Pros

The data reports given after a candidate completes a review have been helpful and we are already using them frequently.

Cons

The preselected jobs seem oddly specific, and they also are missing some very basic job titles. Account managers and business development reps. Also the fact that someone can be "too smart" for a job on their score makes no sense to me. I don't buy that they might be bored easily.

Wonscore provides us a great way to get detailed info on our candidates before we even meet them. I highly recommend it.

Pros

The insights provided by the Wonscore reports can guide your interview questions to dig into possible "red flag" areas.

Cons

There's not a lot to dislike - I suppose maybe it would be nice to be able to somehow integrate into other hiring tools like GoHire.

Good tool, it's not a silver bullet and doesn't replace the need for an interview, but it enhances the interview process and can make it more productive leading to a higher potential for success with a hire.

It is also nice that we can add a link to various pieces of the assessment to job ads.

Cons

I don't particularly like that in creating the jobs we don't have the ability to truly "build" a job. Instead we are forced into using the positions provided with only the ability to change the name of the position.

I also like that you can make reports for us as well.

Pros

I like that you can really determine a candidate with the results that we get. If the results are high we can see that in the interview, same if they are low. That helps us make great picks on candidates for the job we are looking to fill.

Cons

What I like least is that we cannot pick the questions. I think some of the English questions, or the word ones are not beneficial for us and wish we could have an alternative. Many people mention that they have never seen or heard of the words before.

The 'roll up' scoring - WonScore Average and how we have it integrated with our ATS - iCIMS. Also ease in reading/understanding the scoring.

Cons
