Workable Features In Depth

One of the more awesome features of the site is the candidate comparison browser, which enables you to compare multiple candidate profiles within a single browser instance. The layout is clean and accommodates multiple candidate profiles at the same time. In addition, it enables you to compare their qualifications against major criteria you have shortlisted for the job. Thus, it speeds up the hiring process.

The interface is simple, clean, and minimal. The homepage consists of two links: Dashboard and Activity. Explaining the concept behind the interface, Moraitakis says that they built a design “that helps you focus on what matters.” The designers seem to have succeeded in that endeavour. While my test account had little by way of details, Moraitakis informs me that most small businesses have packed dashboard with useful information, communicated in a visual format, minus clutter and confusion.

I Love Workable!

As the HR leader for several small businesses and as an HR consultant, I have used and recommend the Workable ATS whole heartedly!

Pros

My favorite ATS so far!

Workable saves me time in recruiting, with the options of templates, background checks, assessments, and other integrations.

Pros

The customizable pipeline is great, and they offer templates you can write, or use their provided ones.

Cons

They have many options for reports, but you cannot customize all of them, which makes it harder to track the lead sources in depth.

Easy to use but not as robust as other systems

We are looking for an overall recruiting tool that tackles the candidate experience and allows us to maximize on our pool.

Pros

- Good design and easy to use

Cons

- You have to buy jobs slots in bundles instead of being able to post unlimited roles - If you have a candidate that you want to upload that does not fit a role and you want to put them into a project of others like them, there isn't an option for that - The reporting is very basic - There isn't really anything there to survey or measure candidate experience - Cannot post for different company divisions under the same bundle - if you have different brands and need to purchase two accounts, cannot link the pool on the back-end to quickly check for duplicates

Good strategies for control in the search for employees, we are happy with this platform

Pros

Excellent platform for the recruitment of employees, it has a fast and very understandable interface, Easy to use and provides good application and communication templates

Cons

Some problems with the development of tabletime, the product could be a bit expensive but when you use it you realize the help it gives you. hopefully correct some technical flaws and keep updating

The software met our expectations

In order to, make our recruitment procedure smoother and less time wasting we decided to use Workable as it combines in a great way both the applicant tracking system and an easy and effective way to promote our job vacancies.

Pros

The features that was of a real benefit to us were mostly the search per tag or headline, the customized recruitment pipeline and the quick way to send bulk emails alongside with the synchronization with the work email account.

Cons

One feature that we really miss is that on the email templates we cannot include attachments.

There are countless Applicant Tracking Systems out there.

Pros

UX Customer service Price Huge range of features Easy for non-technical people to pick up quickly

Cons

Not enough money spent on marketing which would have saved me from wasting my time on useless ATS's.

It's got everything you need to manage the hiring process for new recruits. If it had HR modules for after onboarding it would be a one stop shop for all our HR needs.

The Easiest Applicant Tracking Software to Figure Out

After getting in touch with other ATS' (Lever, BreezyHR, Jobvite, HiringThing, the Applicant Stack), we went with Workable.

Pros

-Easy, one step posting to multiple job sites (free and premium) -Custom links so applicants can apply from anywhere and still end up in your pipeline.

Cons

-A few bugs (software doesn't always fetch a photo when you put in an email, even if it finds multiple social profiles) -Customer Support isn't immediate (you have to email, but they usually respond in <6 hours)

Streamlining Recruitment

I have used Workable at several different companies and love the way it is simple yet functional enough for line managers to be able to use the system without much training; but still give me the oversight I need in HR.

Pros

Easy to learn (and good looking) Great integration with automatic job posting Simple to manage recruitment for several jobs at the same time Frequent updates and new functionality added

Cons

Would love for the software to increase the number of job boards that it can post to automatically especially websites that are used for internships and startup companies.

I would highly recommend this software to other users who are looking for a quick and simple approach to an applicant tracking tool. It does not take long to learn and has been highly effective with everyone on the hiring team. I have even been able to generate reports from the different job posting sites to determine which sites have been most effective in submitting candidates to our company. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a user friendly environment.

For the price, I believe this is the best option out there. It is also nice to be month-to-month instead of stuck in a contract. I'd definitely do the free trial of this product to see if it is the best choice for your company.

All your hiring needs in one place

Highly recommend, especially for small teams with limited time to devote to the recruiting process.

Pros

You can do just about everything through its interface: search, view resumes and screening questions, outreach, set appointments that sync with my calendar, compare candidates, share candidates, rate and comment on candidates (great for teams), easily follow candidates through their path to hiring, buy advertising with all the major job portals.

Cons

I really only have 2 comments regarding ways to improve: 1) When printing resumes, allow them to maintain their original formatting submitted by the candidate 2) Integrate a feature like Assistant.to for scheduling so that I can give candidates several different time slots to choose from that automatically sync to my calendar

Good potential but overpriced

We have tried Workable during the free trial and then for an other free trial that the customer service offered to us in order to complete our trial.

Pros

Very user friendly. You can feel that they developed their solution knowing their business. The features are great and answer majority of the issue a company like mine could encounter.

Cons

It would be perfect if a very light customer management was possible.

Organized candidates, kept track of communications to candidates, easy to pull reports!

Pros

Keeping candidates organized, create own pipeline stages, communicate with others or with candidate directly.

Cons

Messages meant to be sent within the company were sent to the candidate by different stakeholders, ie more than one person made this mistake which means this is a flaw in the design. Talent pool was also a bit confusing, I'd like to move candidates from Talent Pool to a pipeline and vice versa.

Great customer service!

Pros

The employer careers pages are simple and clean- could be more customizable and interactive but the product is fairly cheap compared to competitors.

Cons

I'm a huge pipeline recruiter- their hashtags to categorize help but a boolean search function would be awesome.
