I love workday and I think it's a great tool for tracking employees and applicants. It's easy to switch them to employees.

Pros

HR could send me announcements, notifications and assignments to complete as new open items came up.

Cons

It was a little challenging trying to figure out some of the features such as dividing my direct deposit between two different accounts. I had to use youtube videos to see how it was done correctly. Simple process just not easily spelled out.

Most new features and enhancements are not provided for free as part of these updates, so you have to purchase them. Third party applications that supposedly integrate with Workday only do so after you pay thousands of dollars for Workday to set that up for you.

Workday benefits has made the benefit election process much more seamless, and there is much less back and forth between employees and the Benefits/HR team because there is a lot of self-service available to the employees.

Pros

From an Benefit perspective, this is the best tool I have used. I can easily see the benefits I have opted in for, and see when I can change them and what my options to change them to are. I am not "benefit savvy" in any way and this really lays out the options for me seamlessly.

Cons

So far, I have no real cons. A nice added benefit would be if our elected benefits had a link that brought us to our providers sight, but that is also not a huge deal.
