First of all i like the design overall it looks very good, second i like the live tracking of employee attendance and the amount of information that can be provided for a employee( the big range of industries and technologies ) and third thing that i like is the view for organization of company
I don't like the thing that i can't just click on a employee and see their profile i must find it in the organization tree and access it from there, and i don't like the way the profile data its presented like a pop up from the right side and its very long and not categorised very good.

Overall a software which can help the entire HR management needs. Helps out in easy HR team related functions and seamless for employee details management. Need tweaks for any business which falls out of standard business nomenclature of functionality. Is value for money once entire flow is understood. Showcases entire organization hierarchy in an easy way. Rich in HR management functions and can be integrated with other HR related tools like payroll management.

How integrated, useful and connected the app is between its users and organization. It makes it very easy to publish items from one area to another and reference data from one portion to another part.
I hate how you have to manually enter Jobs for projects. Even trying to automate the excel spreadsheet is broken half the time. Also, you cannot create standard jobs available to the entire organization, you must create separate jobs for separate projects and that data is not linked. For example, this means I cannot pull the sum of hours spent on one task from ALL my projects.

This covers all the basic HR and Administration capabilities that one business needs. We selected enterprise edition and think this is worth the money that we are paying. Simplicity to use and ability to customize the forms and add workflows. The mobile app is quite useful.
There are few forms that we cannot customize and Time Tracker is one among them. This is one form where each company would like to customize and this is very much required capability. Also, there appears to be a bug with mobile app (for custom forms, the privileges aren't working as designed).

Overall experience is nice due to Zoho People we are now able to work efficiently and manage our time because we don't need to go here and there to find our employees.
Leave tracking and check in check out features of this is best because of these feature an employee can himself checkin and checkout and apply for leave due to which it is easy for us to track the status of employees.
Sometime it is difficult to navigate from one feature to another feature due to which sometime we face issues.

One of the most best feature of ZOHO HR is, its very easy to implement. In a single day, you can integrate your company's attendance and Leave policies. Employees find it very useful to track their leaves and count their working hours. The best part is that company can track the time and location of employees who are working onsite. Amazing tool.
Zoho need to work little bit on their mobile app. When you punch your Check In time, app sometime shows wrong In time. Otherwise, rest app features are cool.

Zoho apps made our daily HR operations very smooth with a easy implementation and support service.
The best in class features like integration with mail and all other apps are remarkably good and the user interface is also very accessible.
A stand alone chat software for windows will be much effective, also the mail should be taking the details from the people i.e. designations and department details should be visible when clicked on the mail id via mail app. Seamless integration with the mail app and zoho people app is much appreciated.

It is overall avery good experience using zoho because its the best tool for me and my organization.
It is so much convenient to have, The feature that i like the most is leave management and i can always find the contact details and personal information about my colleague and also i can always use it for tracking the hours that i worked and also track my salary for the month.

Zoho people is no doubt one of the best HR management tool. In my opinion, the software is great if you can afford it. We are small organization and its bit expensive for us.

There were some glitches but the updated version cleared out all those glitches. Its bit expensive for a small organization and there are other options at better pricing.

It's a great value for the money. There are also a good amount of features. The design of the interface is nice
Customer Service is horrible. Takes days and multiple emails to get a response and they are not very helpful at all. Also, there are a ton of limitations to the software. You can't clock in from computers and mobile devices (you have to choose which one you want to use), you can't change how overtime hours or pay is calculated, you can't adjust how payable hours are counted, etc...

We find the app easy to use and very intuitive. would solve lots of issues only because we now have the self-service interface. Also, we like we have lots of preset functionalities but also room for customization. I am sure that with time, as our dimension will change, the needs will change as well but there is room for further customization.
Although it is very user friendly, there are still issues where you need a Programmer's support to further implement.

Allows for a lot of customization. Centralizes all of the data so you can make it accessible to members of your team easily. You can filter through reports. Lets you put office restrictions however you like. Reports produced cannot be edited outside of the program so it helps with security.
It is not intuitive but also not difficult to figure out. The mobile app is a bit buggy and crashes from time to time but the desktop version works great.

Zoho People works well as a human resource management system that helps to manage employee data and track all activities such as leave, attendance, performance reviews, hours, salary and incentives. This tool greatly simplifies human resources and labour management.
A very effective tool. The only problem is that communication with the support team is frustrating, as they are slow to respond when questions arise.

Cloud based and with mostly everything to keep track of employees in a small business from employee records, file manager to evaluation.
Some features are poorly made like vacation and sick hours tracking system. In our case we have to keep track on a separate Excel sheet because whatever zoho People offers isn't the real thing. We let employees know their balances on every paycheck and let them request vacation or sick through the app.

the leave tracking, time tracking is really good - if only it also had a very robust time tracker including screenshots etc - like time doctor or hubstaff - it'd be just perfect. That said it has been very useful for HR management and payroll
its a little complex to set up. takes a while to get used to the software and find your way around. Some preset leave policies in line with a few countries' labour laws would make life so much easier!

We needed a time in/out system and this software provides that.
It allows you to customize the system to fit your company's needs. We needed a system that was easily integrated into our current system, as we use Zoho Mail. Zoho Peoples provided us an efficient adjustment.
With so many bells and whistles, it takes some time to figure out a simple task. The help videos are extremely long, making simple questions difficult to receive an answer.

UX is great as for pretty complex system, like this.
Our company have to deal with lots of `silly` bugs, which should be in such system. Had problems with attachments, problems with additional integrations. Our manager has to spend time on calls with support to report about bugs in the most essential features. Developers fix most of bugs fast, but I honestly don't understand why system wasn't tested well before rolling-out.
