Rippling did not file my quarterly taxes and failed to pay federal taxes on payroll for a few staffers. I have been financially penalized by the government.
I love that Rippling makes payroll fun, with easy to use features to download documents, see paystubs, and fun design quirks that always bring a smile to my face.
At this moment there are no aspects of this software that I dislike.
Great product at a great value. Our transition from our previous product was seamless and changes are easy to make within program.
I have since transitioned to a new payroll provider that has had zero issue doing both those things correctly. Yet, I'm still being charged for Rippling despite them not doing their job correctly.
Finding important documents is easy and straightforward, like it should be. I love receiving the fun emails every time I get paid.
I have to beg for responses and escalate emails to additional staffers to get a response. Horrid customer service and completely lacking to do their job correctly.

The software is clean and simple and serves as a great resource for company information, coworker contacts, and a comprehensive company calendar outlining anniversaries, birthdays, and days off.
Some of the updates would cause havoc on the system and delay some of our onboarding.
I hadn't used it until my current company and I am really happy to be able to utilize it. There are so many great features and I love it.
The only con I have noticed is from guys in HR complaining that it does not provide in-house payroll management.
BambooHR has some great integrations (Slack, for instance) that allow me to see when my co-workers are out of the office or even celebrating an anniversary or birthday.
At times I struggle with the signing portion of documents.
Great customer service, easy to navigate user platform and mobile app, love that it includes things like ENPS scores.
When we first got it, I would say its lack of payroll integration, but it's since integrated TRAX payroll with the software, which our accounting team is now switching to.
We have become very dependent on this, the mobile app and the website are both great benefits to our employees.
BambooHR is incredibly user friendly, super easy to set up and navigate and easily customizable - for FREE.
It is an amazing experience and i am felling good with using it everyday.

The ease of and accessibility of reporting and the self-service features for employees, including the always-expanding app, is wonderful.
Mgr was always complaining that she didn't find our notes. It was frustrating and caused ill feelings.
It is user friendly and real time tracking which is awesome!!! Super easy to learn and teach.
Too difficult to use and understand its set-up and costly, poor customer support to solve problems.
I really like how robust the system is -there is so much that you can do to help drive efficiency and accuracy. I also like that is relatively intuitive to use for employee side.
Implementation struggles and lack of cohesion between product team and implementation team.
I have had some of my best experiences with customer service through Ceridian and they always help me modify the system quickly to make it work effectively for me.
We are now a year into this project and 6 months post-live and are STILL trying to cleanup the mess caused during implementation. My time and my team's time is dominated by this cleanup process.
I enjoy how you can onboard new employees with benefit selections and payroll. It is useful to keep all these managerial aspects to my job on one location.
Lastly - we are currently have a major struggle with funding our 401K.
Our employees are very happy with how user friendly the system is. I think we have more employees engaged now than ever.
One system provides for a seamless user experience and will allow us to maximize the functionality, especially with all the great changes coming in 2020.

The scalability of this software made it easy to implement across multiple offices and divisions. It integrates with our existing payroll solution.
Of course you always feel good about the payroll software as it gives you money,but apart from this there is option of benefits ,pay slips and gives you a graph of all parts.

I loved that the platform has a directory that is separated by department. It's super easy to check my paystub as well.
Customer Support-after informing the Justworks team that I attempted to change my address to a new state, they denied that I did and said that there was no proof that I attempted to do so.
Easy to use, my employees like it, options of medical benefits, customer service was good, pricing is very affordable.
The only weird feature that I've experienced is their Time Off calculations. The system doesn't include your future time-off days in its calculation of how many days you have left to take off.
The software is easy to use for members who need help in where to start. Building the employees in the system was easy and the help desk is always there to help.
I've had to follow up with our account manager on different issues and once actually insisted on getting a new rep due to a series problem they created for us.
Easy to use and good integration with Gusto payroll software. Interface is user-friendly and pleasant to the eye.
I could see the lack of in-depth docs being an issue, but when getting answers to questions is as easy as a Slack message it's hard to be upset.
Justworks is so user friendly and simple to setup - the Customer Support and Account Management team is incredible - so friendly, supportive, and timely with their responses.
My experience with Justworks has been top notch. I keep getting calls from competitors (ADP) to switch and I keep telling them that I am very happy and don't want to switch.
Anytime I have a question, I can hop on their Slack channel and get help. Also, the platform is super easy for us to onboard new employees and keep everything up to date for payroll.
Excellent platform, fast and friendly service, recommended.

I have a very good experience with the platform and specially the implementation and customer success teams. They are very pleasant, professional and great to work with.
It's just really painful when I check invoices since I go over each item, and there is usually a mistake the employer or Papaya made.
Firstly I love the customer service and how quickly they respond. I also love the ease of the platform.
My experience can be summed up with two words; "extreme disappointment.
Our overall experience has been very positive and Papaya is a platform we regularly recommend to other HR teams.
The reports (invoices) are not organized well. There is no report for the balance of PTOs days for employees.
The customer support team is friendly, quick to respond and communicate progress well particularly during onboarding stages.
Maybe I'm just not sure how to do it. But I cannot create a folder per employee and once I have uploaded files, if I need to go back and upload additional files, I cannot.
Great experience up to now. Customer service is reactive, always available quick to bring answers and alwas propose options.

Best thing is that the WEB HR team is very helpful, friendly, cooperative and supportive. Their response time to any of my queries is quick and they never leave you hanging.
This softwards mobile compatibilty is very weak and Also i am unable to see which days I have worked.
It's very good software is very good and the support team is very supportive at all ends.
Some of the terminology is more british, which is silly to complain about.
Simplicity, and the low price are strong reasons to consider the app. The additional features like payroll and performance are good reasons for considering this app.

Integrations - there are still a lot of product integrations which are missing in our case - slack for instance.
Keka makes this super easy and is very reliable with great 7zip compression among other multi-part file splitting formats.
No self serve set up and onboarding is extremely time consuming. Further there's no way to use parts of the product before wider rollout.
Love the way their software resolve lot of our pen and paper work and main delight was working with their support team, They had helped me a lot while migrating to cloud payroll.

The ease of using the software and how helpful the staff at Patriot are if you need help. They personally will walk you through the steps and make sure you are comfortable before you hang up.
When i started i made some mistakes and instead of deleting and correcting I run another payroll and that caused headache and costly.
Their full service payroll is a tremendous value and well worth it. For any questions during initial configuration or for making changes after up and running, Patriot support is outstanding.
All our employees are not eligible for the same time off accrual, and the inability to change individual time-off/holiday settings was initially quite frustrating.
The process is very easy to use, trustworthy as well as inexpensive for the quality of service you receive. When needing help from the Support Team they have all been extremely helpful.
The set up was awful and Patriot left me on an island and did not finalize anything and failed to file any state reports.
I love Patriot software because it is easy to use and totally reliable. I have used two other services and would now only use or recommend Patriot Software.
My biggest complaint about the software is the lack of support in non-timesheet payroll.
Excellent customer service, easy to use, and easy to set up for the business. Also has the great features to keep up with possible company growth.
At the time my client liked the affordability of the software. Costs for self service payroll is very affordable which is great for small business.
I love it because it is so easy to use and takes me no time at all each payday to set it up. THE best feature is that is so much cheaper than when I did the payroll manually in house.

The site itself is hard to navigate to as ADP has a few other portals. There are also a number of features and views that are not utilized by our company so the robustness of the software is lost.
The flexibility of being able to use the app and website. Super easy to use and fun navigation on the website.
I hate to be negative however my experiences using this program on behalf of my client have been excruciating.
The ease as an employee was wonderful. Also added benefit you get your tax forms earlier than by mail which is a super plus.
There really isn't much aside from the lack of error messages. When something goes wrong it doesn't really tell you what is going wrong so it's hard to know what to fix.
The expanded benefits section is great and a tool that is valuable for employees. Having the ability to look forward toward your retirement is nice.
We have implemented a system where if you will take off a particular day due to illness, we request the next day off - but this is a very poor workaround that often leads to confusion.
Love the ease of the mobile app, it is very user friendly. The payroll feature for our office is great.

It has a great interface which makes it feel very easy to use and has a great set of templates you can use from the beginning for various accounting needs.
We would lose all of that if we switched, so unfortunately we are stuck with having to use this horrible new format.

This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable from the company that is supposed to have your books.
Fields to fill and perfectly links the data from one end like ap and AR to the bank reconciliation. Great reports on transactions for the month or period if interest.
The problem is that doing your own taxes online becomes risky the more you have to account for.
We love that it helps us streamline efforts, is easy to use, and is easy to train others on. QuickBooks Online has definitely been one of the best technology pieces of our administration.
Other than tracking my expenditures, the whole system is a pain. Error messages constantly received because "there's a message from your bank" bla bla bla.
This software has a lot of great features, the best of them all is the ability to import data from.

I love the app and gives me accounting on the go. Helps me track invoices and profits with ease.
There are no delivery notes/packing slips. They tout a "workaround" but be warned, it's exactly 10 extra clicks so it's really not an option if you need this feature.
The ease of use and reputation are by far the greatest part of this product. In addition to this, the range of potential integrations is fantastic.
Our main complaint is that Xero stopped doing payroll in 2018, so now you have to pay an additional fee to a payroll processor such as Gusto.
Really easy to submit expenses, categorise them and check the progress of you submitted expense - super easy to do all from the app.
Changing accounting software from Xero is a horrible experience. They make it very difficult to pivot to other software.
Great that our external accountants and legal support can access online as they need. Seems to be continuously evolving and its reassuring to see ongoing development of the product.
Removing/deleting of transactions and line items are difficult, imported by error and had to delete one by one.
I very much like the ease of uploading expenses to Xero and the fact that you can save photos of your receipts rather than keep loads of paper receipts.
At times it can be frustrating that the only way to deal with customer service is via online, written support.
I think that Xero is easy to use and setup, and the UI is great for beginners to use. Overall very friendly to the eyes.

Best option for the price- I have looked all over and Paycor was by far the most affordable. I wanted as simple as possible and this was perfect.
Tracking and paying our Contractors/Consultants/1099NEC’s is still not working after several weeks and has cost us much money, stress, confusion, frustration and time.
Overall I think it is a great business solution and time saver. The information captured and stored is very helpful for reporting and I am able to instantly generate useful information.
Lack of customer service, lack of follow-through from support staff to set up system, missing major components of software, lack of response when requesting assistance.
I like having the ability to customize reports, this saves me a lot of time. I also like the ease of the software and the great customer service Paycor provides.
Our "senior" implementation specialist was awful and did not fully set our system up.
Great information to help streamline HR. Webinars are always up to date and have the latest information to help HR with regulations and compliance.
Terrible customer service. Emailed a time-sensitive document 4 times, called 3 times, and did not receive ANY communication for 2 months.
Like Paycor, no system is perfect and we have had to evaluate and make changes to our internal processes. With this, HR and Payroll have been satisfied and the processes simplified due to Paycor.

There are also some new modules which will be launched soon. This will go a long way to improve the product and give a good user experience.
And the best part is that it integrates seamlessly with DocuSign.
I love how all the employees are automatically added into paycor once they are hired on. It’s easy to use and navigate, as well as changing information for each employee.
I like how I can copy and paste shifts so I don't have to constantly be putting in exact hours, which can get monotonous. I also like that I can see who is in and out of the office at a quick glance.
Paycor helps us manage core HR functions well. Looking forward to better benefits integration.

It is hard to correct if you did the wrong punch in or out.
BEST of all, when I have a question, Buddy Punch really LISTENS and always walks me through the answer or offers to help themselves.
The only issue we've encountered is adding or editing times. If somebody forgets their punch it can cause some struggle.

I like the ease of use, it is set up to pretty much enter exactly when I work and makes it easy to do so.
Editing the time entries has proven to be quite difficult at the beginning.
It is so easy to request time off without having to email the workplace & supervisors. Just a few entries and the request is good to go.
Super easy to use, interface is intuitive and not clunky. I use it to clock in and out daily and never have issues, other than it sometimes takes a while to load so I can log in.
The best part for me is the app on my phone. It is so easy to use, especially with my new employees.
Ease of use and simplicity are key to success.
Everything... simplicity of a fully integrated and comprehensive system and we can use most any mobile or desktop device for entry and monitoring.

It definitely does a nice job of allowing everyone to communicate on a single platform. Very user friendly and the features are great.
The only flaw in the software I have found is that I sometimes have trouble accessing the app from my phone.
I love how intuitive it is, I love that it is free for under 10 employees, I think everyone who has to do scheduling for any size of company or any industry should use this software.

The ability for them to request days off on the app is amazing because I do not have to remember all the days, it comes up while I'm making the schedule.
With applicant messages, there's no way to end the communications/block disqualified applicants so I've had former applicants continually message and harass with no solution from Homebase.
We are using the free features of home base and couldn’t not be happier. It is reliable, accessible, and just plain awesome.
I don’t like surprises and that happens. That feature alone is my only complaint.
I love the ease of making schedules and tracking of hours. I also love the fact of when hiring someone I can send them the invite and send them a schedule right away.
The only problem I have is once my drivers download the app it can be difficult logging on the first time.
I have LOVED it every step of the way. I tried out lots of other solutions through online systems to local business management organization offers, and this was by far the BEST and MOST AFFORDABLE.
This forced us to buy tablets for employees to clock in and out. We've continued to have trouble with logging in to the website, and for this morning's payroll the website is down.
My overall experience with this is very well easy to use very friendly that help desk was very friendly to use as well.

The buttons are sometimes confusing. For example, submitting a request for vacation seems cumbersome as there are different buttons that seem to do the same thing displayed at the same time.
Workday provides a great array of features for every employee in an organization from tracking their time to managing their benefits like leave.
The user experience while booking vacation is awkward. Exporting historical data sometimes just generates incorrect data.
Having access to each requisition, understanding where the candidate's are at in terms of application status, and progressing candidates with clear communication/notes is great.
Workday Compensation is a great product & there support is great.
Great integration features. Great software for applicant tracking, storing employee information and pulling my day to day reports for payroll and employee job details.

I love how easy it is to use, the price, and that it integrates with my current square system. The built in time clock is amazing and so easy to use.
The inability to schedule same day payments, but there isn't really a Payroll software that does this quite right.
The ease of use and the cost is the best for a small company like mine. With only 2 checks to write on a weekly basis, this program is easy and affordable.
I disliked that one time, when I had a major--and time sensitive--issue, that Square took 5 business days to get me a reply.
I also appreciate the tax report automatic filing. The customer service is great and the representatives, with whom I have spoken, are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Square Payroll makes it easy to start handling payroll quickly, easily and affordably ($5!) even if you have just one employee.
I was lured in by the price and the technology aspect of a tech company like Square.
I love how easy it is to use, the price, and that it integrates with my current square system. The built in time clock is amazing and so easy to use.
The inability to schedule same day payments, but there isn't really a Payroll software that does this quite right.
The ease of use and the cost is the best for a small company like mine. With only 2 checks to write on a weekly basis, this program is easy and affordable.
I disliked that one time, when I had a major--and time sensitive--issue, that Square took 5 business days to get me a reply.
I also appreciate the tax report automatic filing. The customer service is great and the representatives, with whom I have spoken, are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
Square charges a fee per employee which can get pricey with a large team.
I like Square overall for my POS and Payroll. In general we like Square and Square Payroll because it was easy to set up, easy to use, it has good UI, nice design, easy to run weekly payroll.
Initially, I had issues when setting up my pay cycle because the software was not as flexible as I would have liked and I had missed a deadline, and I had to get a work-around from customer service.
Compared to big payroll companies, Square Payroll is affordable and reliable. Customer service is amazing.
Easy to set up, easy to use, and great instructions on paying contractors. It was easy to each my office manager to run payroll and allow staff to remotely acess the platform for virtual work days.
Super easy to use integrated seamlessly with POS and square stand. Setting up new employees is easy, direct deposit as well.
Other than that everything is great and I enjoy using it daily.
I love the ease of it and also the reports are ready whenever needed.
I'm a big fan of anything that saves me time and headaches, and there is NONE larger that sending out tax forms or other financial obligations.
Controlling payroll from on easy to use hub is a great value, and it only costs a small monthly fee per contractor.

Not only is this the most cost effective system I've used, it's simple, straightforward and the support is outstanding.
The GPS feature to avoid clocking in from afar does not work with enough precision to be useable.

Using QBO for my business has been extremely helpful and easy to use. I have been very pleased with QuickBooks Payroll service since I started using the product and the cost is well worth it.
My QB consultant warned me that Intuit payroll is screwing everything up and I should switch to ADP. But, no I did not listen and now they did the same mistake this year.
I enjoy the excellent customer service provided each time I have called in. Each representative is patient, kind and you can hear the smile on the other end of the phone.
Some of the updates can be frustrating as well as the importing features (lost files, duplicate files, etc).
Wonderful software especially for start-ups to set up payroll and ensure all proper taxes, commission, and more is done accurately and easily. Gives great confidence payroll is accurate.
We went through hell last year, getting this resolved and their customer service sucks.

My overall experience with APS has been outstanding, will always recommend them to anyone.
The only thing I dislike was the initial integration. I misunderstood what APS would do, and thought we were hiring someone to actually process our weekly payroll.
The recruiting/hire feature has saved me hours of work in relation to on-boarding. It's been amazing to have the seamless transfer of employee data into payroll.
And we dislike that you have to use the drop down when correcting time sheets instead just being able to type in the correct time.
Being able to combine payroll AND HR online is amazing. I love the reporting options I have and that I can still run payroll in house but have APS handle the taxes so they are done correctly.
Comments are necessary if a punch is missed: for example, if an employee forgot to clock in from lunch, they would have to enter the comment "missed clock in after lunch 12:15" before they clock out.

I never criticize publicly about an organization but this one was so very unprofessional and even made worse by the outrageous fees they charge.
This product was recommended by our CPA who uses it for his own office. That recommendation was good enough for us and it has proven to be an invaluable asset to our business.
It can be a problem to login to the work site which is frustrating when trying to clock in or clock out on time.

As an employee user, I found Paychex to be the most difficult software of this type to use. It's clunky and hard to find what you are looking for.
I guess the positive is that it looks nice visually. It gives you the info you are looking for with some searching.
Paychex Flex offers a variety of functions and features that are ideal to our company. The on boarding was easy thanks to their great support team.
Paychex Flex allows you to see all of your paychecks in one place, see deductions, tax documents, as well as other information like your employment anniversary. The app is wonderful as well.

The best part of the software is that you You can download data for any period that you desire. It provides with a very user-friendly dashboard and the ease of accounting is also there.
My advice for those scoping out Netsuite is seriously analyze your business requirements and then advocate the hell for them in the scoping or implementation phases.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help.
Please do your research before you find yourself stuck in a contract with a bunch of misleading employees that won't even respond to your email or try to address your concerns.
The ability to customize just about anything your organization wants is rewarding. And if you are willing to spend, you can have your system fit your business processes like a glove.
I hate the reporting functionality, avoid it if I can. Might be that I don't really understand its uses.
We were fortunate enough to use a trained consultant to do the implementation and now we have a fantastic solution even through getting there was not smooth sailing.
Lack of direct integration to the PSA tool. We struggled with bringing all of the contract details into the PSA and associated project.
In all cases, the ability to customize to unique business needs, far beyond something like Quickbooks or Microsoft Dynamics, is fantastic.
And when you realise that a lot of what you are paying for is really very poor and that you have to buy additional software/SAAS to make up for it's shortcomings, it is even more expensive.
It makes certain things accounting wise very automated and easy. Integration features are amazing.
It still has the same old clunky "out of date" UI, very limited change is made in their annual updates - it remains very dated and Netsuite never address the key lack of functionality.
Software is very easy to use so suitable for all staff not just office based staff. Software is so powerful that you can use it for invoicing, customer support, CRM and Shopping carts.
The customer support is horrible. You can call your Account Executive and it takes days, weeks or months to get results.
I use it on a daily basis and its very useful for quick reports and billing. I find it very helpful when I have to raise a large number invoices at one go through the upload.
I am sometimes disappointed with the "out of the box" product, meaning there are some things that I would think are standard, but they end up costing more.

The best part of the software is that you You can download data for any period that you desire. It provides with a very user-friendly dashboard and the ease of accounting is also there.
My advice for those scoping out Netsuite is seriously analyze your business requirements and then advocate the hell for them in the scoping or implementation phases.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help.
Please do your research before you find yourself stuck in a contract with a bunch of misleading employees that won't even respond to your email or try to address your concerns.
The ability to customize just about anything your organization wants is rewarding. And if you are willing to spend, you can have your system fit your business processes like a glove.
I hate the reporting functionality, avoid it if I can. Might be that I don't really understand its uses.
We were fortunate enough to use a trained consultant to do the implementation and now we have a fantastic solution even through getting there was not smooth sailing.
Lack of direct integration to the PSA tool. We struggled with bringing all of the contract details into the PSA and associated project.
In all cases, the ability to customize to unique business needs, far beyond something like Quickbooks or Microsoft Dynamics, is fantastic.
And when you realise that a lot of what you are paying for is really very poor and that you have to buy additional software/SAAS to make up for it's shortcomings, it is even more expensive.
It makes certain things accounting wise very automated and easy. Integration features are amazing.
It still has the same old clunky "out of date" UI, very limited change is made in their annual updates - it remains very dated and Netsuite never address the key lack of functionality.
Software is very easy to use so suitable for all staff not just office based staff. Software is so powerful that you can use it for invoicing, customer support, CRM and Shopping carts.
The customer support is horrible. You can call your Account Executive and it takes days, weeks or months to get results.
I use it on a daily basis and its very useful for quick reports and billing. I find it very helpful when I have to raise a large number invoices at one go through the upload.
