Good but subscription is painful

I have NEVER had a problem with any of Adobe products, they offer a wide array for a graphic designer's dream, i mainly use Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere and Illustrator. Each  of the programs work extremely well if you do have a slow computer you might want to consider upping your RAM, Hard Drive and Processor speeds to accommodate each program to your needs. 16G of ram is recommended for After Effects rendering with a decent speed processor.   The pricing tier for Business, Student and Individual is fantastic. you can be a basic student for an online class and they will give you the student discount which could save you hundreds of dollars

All in all, I love me some Adobe; yes, we have a complicated relationship, but I'm in too deep to save those fiftyish dollars per month. 

Can I reproduce the same effects with other programs and apps? Sure. 

Am I willing to try living that way?

Adobe Creative Cloud is a bit of a love and hate relationship for me. 

I like what they've done in moving to a cloud-based software suite with assets and what not available on your account. But I hate that they've phased out their stand-alone options. 

You used to be able to buy Adobe Premiere or the Adobe Suite on their own for a great price if you bargained, but with the monthly subscription model you're stuck paying a couple hundred dollars a year for the same software. With that said, yes getting the latest version of Adobe Premiere and Photoshop is great, but I haven't really noticed that much of an improvement from CS6 to feel the monthly model is the best for me.

I like that all of the programs are seamless and integrated together and easy to use together such as Photoshop and Illustrator and even the libraries connect which is nice when using brand assets.
