What I like most about the Altium 365 is how easy it is to use the software and upload my files to the server. It's great to be able to easily view and share my projects wherever I am.

And because of that, I feel discouraged to use the functionality, being afraid to mess up the project structure or the project files either in the cloud or on the local machine.

Component & Sustaining Engineer

I have used about a half a dozen design platform during my career and Altium 365 seems to have adopted the best features of all of them and combined them into one easy to use platform.

Integration with Mechanical CAD: I never used this feature, but it's good to know it's there. Free of charge, at least in the basic version included with Altium Designer.

I like the completeness of the tools offered to design a professional PCB. I also enjoy the simple UI and cleanliness of the software.

Ease of use, and ability to track and handle multiple electronics designs.

It makes organizing different projects and revisions very easy. The BOM feature is very convenient in estimating BOM cost and the way the BOM can check for part cost online make it even better.

The limitation to work only with the cloud. I would be grat if the option have a version with closed local network.

I don't know the software well enough to have specific cons, but sometimes the BOM exporting process can be a bit weird and/or difficult.

The option to live track components costs and availability is also a huge time saver.

Getting multi users used to Altium 365 was somewhat difficult, but this goes with any new product really.

Siemens NX

It's a good tool to develop electronics and create reliable and complete manufacturing data. It has good review and commenting features.

Great tool for HW development

Overall, I enjoyed working and learning this software. I have manufactured 2 PCBs till date for my work and more then 70-80 PCBs in total in our lab.

Solid Product that does everything you need with version control

I am satisfied with but, it takes time and slower than the last versions, I like the possibilities which all can work and save on cloud, but hard to have a lot of bugs on it.

The teams at my company are more able to design and integrate extremely precise products, and Altium 365 streamlines the whole design process.
