Pros
Artsystems has been flexible and supportive of our needs. They provide excellent customer service and are always responsive.
The staff is quick to respond and give excellent friendly instruction. They have often come to my rescue when I had an urgent task to accomplish.
With Artsystem5, all of the functionality and more has been very successfully moved to a powerful and convenient web-based system.
Pros
Artbase has been an amazing program that has made our company more efficient. Artbase is perfect for sales, consignment, and offers.
Amazing very easy to use and helps with all our galleries needs. It is great for consignment , sales, and offers.
The customer service has been consistently great; they are extremely knowledgeable and super friendly.
Cons
With the migration to the fully web-based Artsystem5 this inconvenience was removed.
When I started my project, I was working with a 35mm camera and keeping hard copies in plastic sheets in binders.
Cons
It's more expensive than some, but from what I've heard from colleagues who have gotten burned by other systems, you get what you pay for.
Not the cheapest system - but you get what you pay for.
It is very difficult to use for staff members travelling or using the system remotely. Customization is also very expensive.
