I've been in vehicle rental for nearly 20 years now, having used many different systems, from stand alone systems to national networks & dealer management systems.

'I have to say whenever we call or email the ASAP Rent help desk I find them immediately helpful and understanding of the business need/impact. They invariable deal with issues immediately and all seem genuinely nice, very knowledgeable people that want to help. 

For example I have just spoken to the help desk about a report that wasn't working as it should. In 10 minutes they had identified the problem and fixed it. Other companies have support teams with untrained/inexperienced people on the front line with script led fixes that take you through a time consuming, unnecessary process that don't address the issue before you are finally passed on to a trained professional. With ASAP Rent we get straight on to the trained professional first time, this is a real strength. 

Also for an additional fee we've been adding credit car processing with Chips & Nips and complete interface to our accounting system. It's just works great ! It worth the investment and very Time Savvy !

With ASAP Rent we get straight on to the trained professional first time, this is a real strength.

This is a company with 1980's graphics that likes to tell you what you need.  You need exactly what they have and the way that they have it.  Unfortunately, what they have sounds good in their marketing material, but really doesn't cut it.  

For example, they will promise an online booking engine, but it doesn't take credit cards.  They will promise an quickbooks back end, but they don't tell you that the back end is you making a manual journal entry yourself.  The list goes on and on.

You can add to it some very poor customer service skills and lack of contact to make your journey a little bit more miserable.

I wish you the best of luck with choosing a company, but remember, with ASAPRent, they will promise a lot of services that are later described as "For an additional fee".  

Not a lot of Bang for the Buck

Steve Larson started Oudoor Rentals in summer 2016 with a business model that simply did not work. He never had a rental business location, nether had a web site or went through the required training sessions, never worked with our software or called in to get support. At the end of the summer when realized that his project did not work he asked for a reimbursement that we refused and threaten us to input a bad review.

We have been using ASAP Rent since March 2010 after the previous software we were using, suffered important weakness in the overall process. Following extensive research our choice of vehicle rental software was narrowed down to two and following online presentation with both developers we decided to choose ASAP Rent. Particularly impressive about ASAP Rent was the can do attitude of the team there. This has proven to be a wise choice by our company as already the benefits of the system are being seen in our day to day operations, in particular the monthly recurrent billing feature. Monthly billing of our accounts customers used to take close to half a day, now this is carried out overnight by the system and processed automatically. I've been with ASAP Rent for the past 7 years and extremely satisfied since the beginning. The product is simple and incredible. I rated ASAP as great software but service that sucked in September 2013.
That was then.  There has been a 100% turn around since then.
Today, I rate ASAP Rent at 5-Stars for Best Software & Service.
Growing pains happen in any business, its how we deal with them that matters.  ASAP now has Great Customer Service.  They not only listen, but appreciate and respond to customer needs and concerns.
ASAP, in my opinion, now has not only the Best Software, but Top-Notch Customer Service to go with it.  They are improving and adapting every day.

Within the numerous car rental software i've been working with over the past 20 years, ASAP Rent is very easy to use and extremely customizable.

I have used many rental car systems. I personally used to work for a major rental car company. This system is so easy and user friendly. I was able to train my employees to use the system in less than 2 sessions. Everyone here loves the system from my cashiers to the Service agent and General Manager!  The other great thing about ASAP Rent, the service is just great, any question we would have or any request is just a phone call away!

These folks have awful customer service. Hard to get in touch with.  Training was vague and short. 

Wes McCurry is operating a small used car sales and repair in Huntsville.
He never worked with the system and not in title to mention anything about it. He called us and request for a personalized presentation and proceed with payment of the initial fee. After 10 days he asked for a reimbursement and was mentioned  to him to read his contract it is very clear there is no reimbursement once the cloud software is delivered and did proceed with the initial training session.
