Pros
Complete reports that enable fine grained digging. Outstanding customer service, very friendly support team.
I have recommended this system to every organization I have worked for (past and present) and strongly encourage anyone interested in growing their enrollment and revenue to join the ASAP team.
Continuing to implement upgrades and improvements for our system to increase functionality. Overall a great benefit to our operations.
Pros
Our school was first drawn to Alma because it combined a good software to meet student, parent, and teacher needs with great value. Customer service is fantastic.
I like the ease of keeping attendance and being able to email the parents. The parents like the ease of checking their children's grades and assignments.
We had previously used Gradelink and we're happy with it until the price went up drastically. We searched for an alternative and found Alma and are so glad.
Cons
Difficult to use, poor customer service. The system did not do what I needed and I was stuck in an expensive 3-year contract.
The front end of ASAP (what the client / customer sees) is really terrible. We used it for 6 years before switching.
My biggest complaint is you can't try it out before you sign a 3-year contract. I have specific needs, which they told me they could provide for.
Cons
It is difficult to adjust the settings of a class once assignments have been entered, and if an assignment is accidentally entered under a wrong category it alters the entire grade.
I am having trouble learning the report card program. I am still receiving training for this but it seems very difficult to have to switch back and forth from one program to another.
I don't like that there is no easy way for a parent to access a student's missing work, instead having to look through each class and assignment to see what has and has not been turned in.

Pros
I like ALMA cause they have a good service with their customer. Every i need help or information, they did ASAP and resolved my issues.
