Pros

The potential of the platform is amazing. My company contracted with OneCause to use their text to give feature and was excited for the possibility to integrate it into our yearly campaigns.
It's easy to use and the customer support is fantastic. I love the data that the software generates and how quickly I can access specific information.
From the pre-event consultants to the onsite techs, we have only had wonderful experiences. They are always available, respond extremely quickly to questions, and are a joy to work with.

Pros

The team was very helpful in selecting the product that best fit our needs, and assisting us leading up to the event, during the event and follow up.
GiveSmart is great for our needs, and we are happy with the final product that it provides our fundraising efforts.
The second best feature are the sponsor ads. We like how they are not only on the homepage but integrated through the software.

Cons

We were desperately seeking an event planning software after using an in-house product for years. BidPal is truly a one stop shop for everything you need to plan your event from start to finish.
Customer support the day of event was difficult to get in touch with which caused much anxiety.
It's confusing to me who is my direct contact with bidpal sometimes.

Cons

They are usually timely with responses. The only difficult time was when we were sent the wrong cc swipers for an event.
Their onsite staff can be hit or miss sometimes. If you talk to your manager about having experienced staff, they will accommodate.
I can't think of something right off-hand that I dislike about the software.

OneCause

Terrible customer service

I would recommend using GiveSmart for your nonprofit fundraising instead of One Cause. Unlike One Cause, they value your business and work hard to keep you happy and satisfied.

Pros

The potential of the platform is amazing. My company contracted with OneCause to use their text to give feature and was excited for the possibility to integrate it into our yearly campaigns.

Cons

Once we signed a contract, the customer service experience all but evaporated. We needed help to get the system set up in time for an event and received such a delayed reply that we couldn't use the system at all. When we inquired about a refund, not even one person felt compelled to respond to our inquiry. We've been sending emails into the abyss of their customer service department for 4 months!
