Pros

Overall a very good and intuitive rental program at an affordable price with great support.
Useful and super helpful product for organizing the rental services we offer in our shop.
The backend calendar and inventory management is a delight to work with and the payment integration with Stripe is seamless.

Pros

It was very easy and intuitive to set up on my own and the interface is so very clean and appealing to me and to my customers.
I have reached out to customer service several time and have gotten a timely and helpful response. I have had a great experience with this company.
I like that Rentle has multiple pickup locations enabled, and the interface is simple, easy to learn. It is smooth functioning on my Squarespace website and looks beautiful.

Cons

We hate losing a small piece that may cost $1000 or more and we didn't have it barcoded in separately on a check out. Also it has a hard time integrating with Quickbooks and other accounting software.
So far that is my main complaint. It is only designs for a brick and mortar shop when so many rental shops are online now.
It runs next to our online store, so you see 2 shopping baskets on the page which is sometimes confusing.

Cons

Does not send any warning if if you do something wrong.
Maybe I am old-fashioned but I am missing more visible picture of rental situation.
Customers are still able to make purchases but I am having trouble getting my shop to view as a full screen on my WordPress site.

E-Commerce for Rentals with Inventory Management

Pros

The e-commerce shopfront. I couldn't find another software package that offered both this and inventory management for rentals.

Cons

Lack of delivery/collection options for orders, no accounting integration, limited automation (ie. send review email after return), can't limit orders to certain countries, padding doesn't account for working days/opening hours, customers can't book bundles unless all of it is available, can't set single price for bundles or have a price greater than the price of individual items combined, can't set invoice due dates and there's no auto reminders for customers. It's the best option as it stands, but I'm having to make a lot of bodges to achieve what I need which isn't ideal.

Great for rental business, but lacks nuance

It really is great software for helping rental businesses manage their inventory online, and allows customers to shop and reserve those rental items. However, it lacks a bit of nuance and forces you to find work-arounds if you need something that isn't strictly for rentals. Also a huge turn off is the lack of security deposit feature, which seems ridiculous to me.

Pros

This software does a great job providing solutions for rental businesses. My client originally had a Woo Commerce account connected to her site to help manage her rental business, and it was basically one big work around. Woo Commerce had a rental option, but it clearly wasn't built for the rental business and was insanely expensive. Booqable solved this and provides great, easy to use software for renting out items to businesses.

Cons

It lacks nuance - for example, it has no feature to take security deposits. Customers either have to pay for their whole order up front, or you have to invoice them for the security deposit and then for the final payment...for a rental business, this seems silly. Booqable help says they will "take my suggestion" for further development. For payments, you either have to turn payments on checkout on...

Perfect for my small side business

We took over this family business in 2020 with the vision of modernizing the way people can access our product. We searched other competitors however Booqable was the best fit for exactly what we wanted to do, online rentals. It was an easy choice and in our budget!

Pros

We wanted a way to allow our customers to order online and Booqable was the perfect solution not only for e-commerce but for inventory management as well. It’s easy to input products, launch them to the online store, create and track orders, which in turn makes business run smooth.

Cons

I wish some of the upgraded features were available to the version I have like coupons and exporting data but it’s just not possible to upgrade for how small our business is.

Booqable is great for all sized companies. We are small right now but i can definitely we will easliy be able to grow into it and it will work flawlesly at any size. The template websites look great and set up quickly. I have used customer service twice for issues and they were quick to get my issues resolved which were operator error but explained clearly what i need to do to accomplish what i was trying to do.

Cons

The app. The app on the phone seems really new and like it still being built out. you can only do the basics but again it looks new and like they are still growing into it. I definitely would not let that stop me from signing up again.

Pros

Booqable is absolutely amazing! The online booking integration is hands down the most seamless and intuitive for the consumer/user. I love that we were able to create an online checkout process that felt inline with other e-commerce platforms but in a rental environment. This functionality reduces the friction to booking online and increases the experience before the customer even touches your products. The backend calendar and inventory management is a delight to work with and the payment integration with Stripe is seamless. Honestly, this software is extremely well thought out and is perfect for rental businesses.

Cons

There aren't any cons to this platform. They are constantly adding new features and offer superb customer service.

I have not had much experience, I have been trying to configure and understand the program for 2 months. I find it quite practical and easy compared to the previous program (booqable). Especially the question of changing data in the reservations and configuration of the products.

Pros

is very convenient for making reservations the setup is quite practical and easy to understand. The staff is always there when I need them and they are practical and efficient.

Cons

the dashboard: would add a weekly and monthly view of bookings Account staff: I would add the name of the person Another disadvantage of the program is that it does not take into account the importance of German customers with respect to the data that an official bill must contain for companies or institutions in this country, specifically the address.
