The platform has good tools for establishing pricing packages and member features. It also has email templates for communicating with members. Another great monetization feature is the Lead Generation tool. I also like the availability of a Developer Marketplace where I can find developers who are familiar with the platform and can customize my website the way I want it. My "Customer Success Agent" (sales agent) was very nice to work with, and she ("CJ") spent 1.5 hours on the phone with me explaining the capabilities of the software and getting me comfortable with the purchase. I'll be getting more familiar with software as I populate and customize my directory, but I've had a good experience so far.
Management features for controlling accessibility to features by members so I can customize pricing plans to fit my business model; Also the lead generation!
The overall appearance of the out-of-the-box solution is not especially aesthetically pleasing. I like the look and feel of the Templatic directory platform from a User Interface perspective. I plan to configure my BD site to integrate some of those features.

I can see it working well. From our Facebook page we have a lot of interest in our subject and people want to get in touch with business that can service them well.
It looks like it is very flexible. The videos are helpful. It appears fairly intuitive. I'm looking forward to it working well with our Facebook community.
The HTML hard coding to adjust a search engine. The coding is different to the video. Can't get back to the original coding.

This company have changed the way our business works, we can make changes with an instant effect and even includes a free mailbox. There customer support is amazing.
Would love them to have Phone Support but there email support is still very good. 75% of times we get a reply the same day.

We did a lot of research for directory website software, we even lost a lot of money in the beginning with systems that were not as robust. We are more than pleased and highly recommend Brilliant Directories as an all-in-one directory and marketing system. You guys did an amazing job.
Brilliant Directories has helped our directory become more profitable. It is easy to use and the email marketing tools help us keep in touch with members. We love that our entire staff can work in the same system and that we don't really need any third party applications to run our business.
They have a lot of flexibility with their system but we would also like to be able to manage all our social media accounts from the system like we do in hootesuite.

Searched online for many months before coming across Brilliant Directories. The overall layout and multiple options available for not only the directory owner, but more importantly their customers is unrivaled. Also BD customer support is also outstanding. It's great doing business with REAL professionals who are passionate about what they do.
Over all ease of use and the quickness you are able to make your directory site go live.
Honestly don't have any.

Connecting people and services in a time where business are dying due to the circumstance were in (Covid).
I was looking at a way to create a community for my industry that I have been involved with and was about to hire someone to build it for me. Then a friend recommended me to check out Brilliant Directories and I was literally shocked of what it had to offer, literally everything I described was offered by these guys. Super impressed.
Nothing yet :) As we design we will see what might be missing but so far looks stunning.

So far, everything has been great. We are exciting to get fully up and running.
We love the user facing side of things. The platform is very clean and seems as though it'll be easy to use for our members.
The backend is pretty intense. Learning to navigate has been time consuming but all great things usually are!

[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was extremely helpful in answering majority of my questions prior to my sign-up with BD. I haven't even tried the free trial before purchasing the product as I was so confident in it. Free trial is offered freely by BD, but I'm hoping there will be no disappointments as I progress in my initial setup and software usage.
I've just signed up and very excited about the onboarding process and getting all set up and start learning all the tips and tricks of this brilliant software. I have high expectations on its performance and will put all of my hours and dedication in learning and excelling at new skills and BD knowledge.
Not sure yet cause I'm still a newbie to this software, but hope I'll advance to a pro user fairly quickly. Hoping the support will be adequate.

I'm just beginning to use it but it's much more comprehensive than I would have thought. Lots of functionality that we didn't expect!
It takes awhile to set up fully, and I need the Google Maps Javascript API to ues the maps which I hadn't thought about.

We've looked high & low - if there's any directory functionality you wish to implement, Brilliant Directories is most likely going to have it. BD is truly the premiere service available. In my experience the customer support is also first class.
When reviewing the pricing, I would personally consider the "VIP Add-Ons Club" a necessity. You're going to want adds-ons such as SSL, coupon codes, free trial, possibly VAT, etc. It doesn't take long to realize that "VIP Add-Ons Club" is probably the way to go.

The site came with premade widgets most of which look great. Please see below the one that is a problem. Looks like you misspelled Local Family Owned and for some reason spelled it Local family Owneds? I attempted to fix your mistake by watching the video "how to edit premade widgets" and it showed me exactly what to do which was open widget and edit text only problem is when I open to edit text all the wording is done in code? After researching various methods of setting up an online music directory I decided on Brilliant Directories because it includes many useful features. Other online directory services make you pay extra for some of the functionality or get third party modules for many features that are included with BD. BD can also be customized from top to bottom. The BD software is not the most user friendly (not WYSIWYG software), it helps if you have some tech experience. They have given a lot of thought and planning in the execution of their SaaS to create a "Brilliant" software product. Access to cPanel is a very useful feature as well. I look forward to making MusicXS @ MusicDirectory.com a long term success with Brilliant Directories!

I researched and tested several Directory products for Wordpress. All of them had significant faults, and none allowed upgrades or downgrades to the existing directory using recurring payments. Then I found Brilliant Directories which is going to save us from a huge problem we would have had using other software. I wasn't sure about stepping away from Wordpress, but the system Brilliant Directories...

I was trying for so long to get my site built. There were so many different providers who tried & failed to give me what I wanted. Then I came across brilliant directories! They did it with ease.The support staff was really good at following me up, he was honest & knowledgable. My customer service agent was amazing, nothing was too hard for her to do, she was very friendly & helpful. The site is now exactly what I wanted. I really could not be happier!
It is so easy to use & very customizable. The fact they don't promote themselves on my site is a really good touch.
Nothing major, all of the things I couldn't do initially were sorted out by my onboarding team.

In the past 10 years I've never been so impressed by any vendor or their representative as I have been over these past days - working with Dennis Tinerino at Brilliant Directories! I am a Realtor and deal with over a dozen technical products that are provided on a subscription basis (such as Brilliant Directories) and I'm normally met with indifference by their support teams... as though I'm a pain...

We've already had a brilliant journey with Brilliant Directories. From arranging an initial call to discuss whether the product was right for us, and then arranging a second call to discuss in more detail, to the online support guidance, which from day 1 has been brilliant. Better than anything we've experienced elsewhere. The customer service team really know their stuff, they are polite and helpful, really responsive, and quick at resolving issues. I wish there was a 10 star button as I would have clicked on this!

I have been playing with the widgets and because I'm not tech savvy its a little hard to make or add changes but I feel comfortable there is support .I appreciated rep starting my platform off with the features I mainly wanted so that left less for me to tweak. Overall I am highly satisfied and am excited.
