Very good.
The software is really intuitive. It is easy to use and you have a steep learning curve.
It takes some time to figure out wat the most convenient set-up is. But with great help from the customer service we build a realy nice database

I have never had a problem. It has been enjoyable to use. I would not mind another trial using this EDC.
Source documentation lines up with the functionality of the EDC. Very easy. Queries are easy to spot. I've never had issues with this EDC.

Its easy to use, userfriendly, convenient, and was of great help for me to conduct a multicentre study by enabling digital data collection.
The extraction to other software for statistic analysis was not easy

Without any prior knowledge or course (just the oneline manual) I was able to make a suitable draft for a national survey. The software is very intuitive and complete, and the resulting forms are clear and consise. The participants of the survey were able to fill it out, with hardly any intrtoduction needed. It is easy to design different user roles, to ensure that participants can only see their own data and not the data entered by the other participants.

I used the Castor EDC to create an eCRF for two large multicenter trials (24 centers and 260 subjects). I was amazed how easy it was. The eCRF works extremely well and we have received many compliments from our Belgium sites about the easy lay-out and user-friendliness. The costumer service is excellent and I get response within a few hours ( no matter how stupid my question is). The Castor team update and improve their system all the time. We are very satified with this software.

The Castor software is easy to use, webbased and has an excellent user interface. We use the software for a research with substantial amount of data. In general it works very good, only sometimes we have to wait for the server and you have to renew the page. I recommend the software for research purposes. Research will be easier to monitor and to avoid loss of data.....

We are now making our eCRF for a clinical trial with Castor EDC
It is very intuitive and organized well. also, the webinars and explanations are good and manuals too.
that you don't have an option to do verification of information in a table, or when you have date+time option you can't check if the answer is okay (before today, etc.). The randomization is only in blocks and there is no other options for randomization which is a little problematic with a small group trials

It is reliable and safe, and quite overseeable.
The buildup of the software is not very flexible, it is not possible to click and drop certain parts of questionnaires to other parts of the database. moving things around is quite difficult

This is by far the best software to use if you're building a medical database. It has a lot of different options to build to your database and works very easily. Also, the customer service is really helpful and answers your questions really quickly. I would recommend this software for everyone who needs to build a medical database!

Very good, only minor things that were unclear for me. The instruction videos are very helpfull as a starter.
It was very helpfull for sendig out a online questionnaire, very easy in use.
Sometimes it's seems like there are multiple places for the introduction text and the only way to find out was to just trail and error.

Its user friendliness. They company has introduction videos to help you get started. You will be able to quickly set up your data system, which you can easily share with other members of your research team. Costumer service is very helpful. And pricing is cheap.
It took some time to get used to the structure of Castor. So some initial effort is required to get started.

You don't need extensive IT/programming skills in order to create your desired eCRF. This might make the eCRF less flexible, but I believe you still have all the tools you need. Furthermore: if you think Castor doesn't have what you need, their Customer Service is great. They will reply to your question/remark almost always the same day and help you with (figuring out) a solution. Or implement your request in an update :)

The product makes you think about your research before you start, because you are building your database in a very structured way. Printing it as a CRF is more of a challenge, but it works fine. The Castor team is easy accessible. The export to Excel is sufficient.

We have just started using the software. We found it very easy to set up on our own and use it. There are some possibilities we would like to see added, but it might be we just missed them. We always get an answer straight away when we have questions. It's a cost effective alternative to paper CRFs and much safer and easier to use.

I learned a lot about building a CRF. Based on my experience with Castor I will recommend first a pilot with a new CRF before you use it for a large trial. Data availability with an Excel and SPSS file is very handful

In an era where (clinical) data collection and storage must be easy, safe and following extensive regulations, Castor provides the solution with a data collection and management system. Our institution has considers Castor as a valid system. Furthermore, customer service is quick and helpfull.

Very good experience. I would repeat with this data collection model.
On the one hand I liked that the training of the platform was practical and fast. What I appreciated the most was that Castor is very intuitive. The fields are very well categorised and it is easy to see where the information you need is located. In addition, it is fast and without visual noise.
What I liked least about Castor was that it did not collect all the information that, in my personal opinion, was necessary for the complete management of the trial.
