Club Express supports the website of my local kayaking club. I like the ability to see and enter events and announcement, and get information on club members.
Many functions I could not figure out intuitively, and had to be shown how by a more experienced user, such as creating an event and a photo album.

Rather than have each Rotary club create/maintain individual websites, it is helpful to use a common platform so that if there are problems or questions, help is near by.
This is an easy way to communicate to our club members and promote our club to others.
There are some details/fields that are not easy to update.

Everything in one place!
This software puts everything our club needs in one place and multiple people can take care of their particular department all at a reasonable cost.

Very satisfied.
I use Club express for several car clubs. The software helps us manage the members ,club events and finances for the club. Never found a product that was this equivalent. I like its interface, and ability to quickly get the job done.
Needs interface to online calendars/phone calendars and/or ability to sync with them. Would allow club members to be kept up to date on events, meetings, etc....

We could not run our paddling club without it! It's been our mainstay since 2009.
The platform works really well for our paddling club
It's a little annoying when they keep updating the features, but they are very good about helping us to navigate new things.

I am the current President of a Seniors Ski, hike and social club with some 70 members. A few members in their 80s have difficulty using it to sign up / pay for events, but every one else loves it. Being able to have people use credit cards to pay for events has reduced the work load dramatically. Most members love the software otherwise they Would have to call it send a letter. In short WE LOVE IT
Ease of use by administrators and club members
Some features are cumbersome to set but the work really work well. Such as putting club event posters on the short cut column in green on the left hand side of the main page

We are not a business so this question is not applicable.
It is easy to post photos of club events.
The site would be much more useful to our club if we could directly post a PDF document . We publish our bimonthly newsletter as a PDF document. Currently I have to post our newsletter on a GoogleDocument site and then post a link on our club web site. It is quite inconvenient.

Our overall experience with Club Express has been wonderful. We joke that this has brought our Club into the 21st Century! We have 500 members and growing and without Club Express, I don't know how we would have managed!
The ease of use of the Club Express software as an administrator is what I like about it most. We went from managing our membership on paper to this system, and it has been a life saver. Our old website had no functionality and was only informational. We now have all of our membership information in ONE place for all admins to see in ONE place, and no longer have boxes and boxes of paperwork and endless...
Having minimal experience setting up a website, I found the construction and editing of the Home Page to be a bit confusing and difficult. In particular the upper part - where the login and profile sit. Luckily we signed up for a website technician to built it for us, enabling us to focus on the main content of our site.

Club Express, although offering much beyond our Club needs, provides everything we can possibly need to hold our people together. No longer do we waste funds for printing expensive calendars, etc. Notifications of events, etc. are automated & club members are able to reach all other club members via Club Express emails. Report reviewing & financial management is now effortless. Such a great product with exemplary support staff available when needed.

Overall, I think ClubExpress is great for memberships and clubs. It's improving every day. What I would like is an easier way to get a hold of customer service (a chat feature would be great). So many things that I have questions about take a while to answer if I don't call the help line.
I think it's a great way for the company I work for to handle all necessary things relating to our memberships (billing, communication, expiration).
It can be confusing if you aren't familiar with every aspect of club express.

Good so far, I took over being Webmaster about a year ago and after a clean up period this site is working well for us.

Excellent, it meets 99% of our club needs
Allows members to manage their own information, while giving great ability for administrators to manage club information too! Event management is excellent, membership management is excellent and dues and background financial management is great! This system manages small event driven clubs very well!
A few computer literate administrators are needed to implement and maintain the system But the basic system is easy to use and can be learned quickly bu administrators with some computer knowledge!

We have solved the issue of the high cost of producing monthly newsletters. This site has allowed us to keep in touch with our members on a minutes notice. It's easy to use and we would be lost without it.
Our carving club has gained members as a result of using this site. Our members have great access to post photos, blogs and more. The site has allowed us to post our monthly club newsletters which has saved us a lot of money over the years we have been using Club Express.
That is a tough question to answer. We've always gotten great support when we don't understand a function here and there.

This software has made club management infinitely easier. I would recommend it to anyone with similar needs to ours.
Almost all of the functionality that our club needs is built into this software. It lets members register each year for our club and collect their club dues, lets us maintain a powerful event calendar (with automatic reminders), group and individual photo albums. And the pricing is great for a club our size (about 100 members). Customer support is stellar: Quick answers available by email or phone, if answer can't be found in extensive user manual.
The user interface changes often. While the changes offer improved functionality, the new interface is not always intuitive. But once it's understood, it makes sense.

The fact that the software manages all aspects of the club.
Sometimes it gets confusing finding options, especially between standard menu pages and configure menus. Would be nice to have links where these intersect.

Club Express has provided a complete website/member management and communication system for our club in one easy to use and relatively affordable package. Thoroughly recommended.
For a non technically minded person, the software is relatively intuitive to use which makes it easy and quick to send emails, create events and manage our member database.
Some of the more complex features are not quite so intuitive but the software is constantly being refined and upgraded.

Mostly, the lack of training bothered me, but didn't prevent me from doing my job. I am sure the system is a lot more interesting and powerful than I realize, but without a training guidebook or something like that, most of it remains a mystery to me. Which is OK, because my volunteer job insofar as using C.E. is simply to update the "FULLY VETTED" field for volunteers who have passed the background check process.
Ease of use. Club Express is fairly straightforward in displaying requested data.
I can't really say as my involvement with the software is fairly limited. Some of the reports don't seem comprehensive enough (or didn't many months ago when I was more or less playing with that function) and it 'd be nice if the data cold be displayed in a more user-friendly "spreadsheet" format for ease in sorting by the user.

A fantastic product. Lots of support with videos, webinars, online help, email and phone support. The phone support is local and response is quick.
Looks great. Has great features which meets most of our club requirements.
the need to use text editors such as notepad to create documents is an issue. I understand the need for compatibility with mobile phones, tablets, etc. but after using other word processing tools it seems cumbersome.
