Pros

Customer support is excellent. They have been very helpful with a variety of questions and do a good job of following up on issues that are not readily solved in a single phone call.
Great integration between manufacturing and accounting modules. The software allows administrators to grant security permissions on a field level which is very helpful.
I was leery about EDI, much to my delight integration is outstanding. Front loads are visible in the schedule right away, instead of 24 hours later saving us expedite costs.

Pros

This software is very reliable and capable of generating many reports to help us with daily tasks and decisions. Most importantly the support we receive from the team at MIE is excellent.
Customer service is AMAZING. They're all willing and able to work with me to fix any problems that come about and are great at taking input from me as to things that may be helpful.
I loved being able to get a quick snap shop of projects running through the shop and know exactly where we stood in real time. The shop personal were also impressed with its ease of use.

Cons

This can get annoying as you are going along in the quote and get stopped to add a due date and have to return to the 1st page.
It is significantly more costly to change and fix than doing it right the first time...including with this software.
The software seems a little sluggish in its client/server connection on a Gigabit network.

Cons

Had trouble getting the shipping scanners to communicate with the software.
It is somewhat difficult to train team members, especially those who aren't as experienced with computers and databases.
Some of the bugs do not get fixed in a timely manner. There are bugs when we install updates that are not checked beforehand and causes problems in other areas of MIETRAK.
