I have been using EFI products for over 20 years. The updates are easy to do and keep the program current. Switching from Printsmith Classic to Printsmith Vision was simple and data carrier over.
Thorough product parts, ease of converting estimate to job, helps you not to forget a step in the process of creating the job. It has been an asset to our billing with being able to send invoice directly from software. Shortened our receivable time.
Bit of a learning curve but once you find your way around becomes very useful

Very good. It is a little pricey to add store fronts on as that would grow our business but beyond our budget
I like that we keep moving forward with development. The fact that we can grow and go through work flow to our EFI rips. This will be a great boost
A little more robust CMR. Most of everything is there. More streamlined. A more robust reporting tool that can output to excel spreadsheets. Paper reports are not much help for analysis

Overall experience with EFI has been very good until they upgraded to the PrintSmith Vision. We are currently looking for options to replace PrintSmith.
What I liked most about the software was the Classic version, but that is no longer being supported by EFI. I’ve used it for years, even before EFI purchased PrintSmith. Now the learning curve for PrintSmith Vision is very time consuming.
Whoever created the the accounting section of Vision should make one more update and then get in another line of work.

I love it and wouldn't remove it from my day to day operations.
It was the perfect tool for my company. We were using paper tools and guides. I felt we needed to change to a Computer base estimating/invoicing system. it was made for printing companies.
the only thing it's lacking at the moment is a proper Large Format estimating system. we are able, but it's not perfect.

We have enjoyed our experience with Vision and the support staff was very helpful and patient with us regarding any questions we had during the transition.
The features in the new Printsmith Vision make it easier for the user to move from one process to another therefore speeding up the billing processes.
it took us a couple of months to get use to the new format since it was a drastic change to the old classic version.

We have used this product for over 20 years, I like it much better than trying to do estimates without software and having to look up pricing for everything each time.
I like the customer history the best I can check and see exactly what I have printed for them and when.
To many steps to enter a job, previous versions were easier to work with. New update slowed some things down.

I like that I know how to use this software, but that took time. I also don't use the new version yet as it still hasn't gotten to the level I need to use it. It seems like the flash version has more abilities than the new version.
Definitely not intuitive. Even when I'm used to using the old version. The new version doesn't give me the same capabilities and it's not clear how. I spend too much time trying to figure out how to do simple tasks.

We depend on PrintSmith Vision and are happy with the way it integrates and works with our production, estimating and work flow.
There are many features to PrintSmith Vision that make my job faster and easier. I use it daily and it is paramount to the success of our business.
There are still some frustrating glitches in the program that require me to switch back to the old version to achieve what I need and want. Each update improves and addresses some of these issues.

Positive. Overall it is an integral piece of our business model to estimate, produce job tickets, and invoice accordingly, while maintaining an accurate A/R side.
Drop down menus and algorithms are accurate and expandable. Multiple press and pricing structures are nice options to be able to implement for different types of customers.
Slow, slow, slow. The internet interface is excruciatingly slow at times. It is stable but will occasionally have a bug requiring a restart.

Decent program, but for the price and compared to others on the market it could be better.
Lots of options for the various types of jobs that come through the shop
Could use more options for customizing. Some of the definitions are a difficult to work with. The templates are difficult to customize how we would most like them to appear. It would be nice if there was a library of How-To videos that we could access for the many different features in the program.

Overall, once used to it and have some practice it will be good.
Still getting used to it but I do like the icon's and ease of finding what you need.
Still getting used to it but the fact I can't put the icons in my own order and take out the ones I never use bugs me a bit. It is also hard to remember the sequence so you don't loose the work you just did on a job if you don't confirm.

I do like being able to see where our sales are in the month, and all the jobs currently in the shop.
It would be nice if I could search for a previous job though out the whole program not just in one account. I'm told we can get that with an upgrade but I'm not sure its worth the money for that feature. We also do not like the work orders. Which I know can be changed with and upgrade.

Overall, great product and easy to use.
Printsmith is a must for our small operation. We bought in around 1997 and have been along for the ride ever since. At one time we moved to a different platform however it wasn't a good fit and we moved back into PSV.
The software itself is great, we only wish we could integrate with online orders from our website.

PrintSmith creates problems for our organization, it doesn't solve them.
There are no features of this software that we consider positive
The software is not user friendly. There are many glitches and quirks that create an enormous amount of extra work and create costly and time-consuming mistakes. We were forced to start using PrintSmith when PrintLeader was no longer available.

development from Classic to Legacy to Vision was not good for Dutch matket. Translations are bad, so the function of buttns is not allways clear. Like the look and feel
easy installer easy to learn for daily users. more difficult for owners to setup pricing and know preffs
The use off inet designer as a tool to create reports. very difficult I'm still not able to do simple modifications (adding new databasefields) to reports Dutch translations

I am very happy with EFT PSV. Once I became proficient, I customized more and more options and it is very easy to use and customize the settings. We very very rarely have issues in regards to crashing.
It was easy to acclimate to the software. I received excellent training and when it was time to implement the program, the support staff was quick to reply and help if I needed any additional information.
I had to implement all information from my prior software manually for the first order for each new job. Als

Good - upgrades can take some time to resolve issues but generally happen. Support through AlphaGraphics and PS has been good.
Good transition from original Printsmith - plenty of improvements in estimating, job input and time clock feature.
Quirky - can be slow. Sometimes frustrating in how you need to update or change an existing estimate or order.

This software does everything that we want and maybe a little be more. I could not run my company without it. They have very good customer service.
In its current iteration, it runs painfully slow and clunky. It is not uncommon to wait 5 seconds between clicks. We are just about to upgrade to their latest version. We are hopeful that it will run smoother.

I've used other print mgt softwares and i think for us this is the best option out there.
I like the simplicity of the software. In particular i like the navigation in the new html version
Sometimes its really slow. in the new html version i call it the long blue line because you'll see a blue line start at the top of the screen and you can watch it slowing refresh as it goes from right to left.

been using Vision for several years. The developers have been a bit slow at getting customers feedback on improvements and issues implemented.
Tech support if fantastic! Fairly easy to setup and navigate through the screens.
Features in the GUI need improvement. Developers need to push out updates quicker to end user.

We are experiencing efficiency gains in order entry, tracking and invoicing. We are happy with PSV.
I am a 30+ year user of PrintSmith. Vision has brought PrintSmith to a whole new level. It is fairly easy to train and was not a difficult implementation.
The transition to the HTML5 has posed challenges but I am fairly hopeful the Support team will iron out the bugs in a timely manner.

After the bugs were worked out of the first few years of its life, it has been very good and after learning the new interface it is a much better product than previous versions.
Ease of use. Job costing capabilities. Being able to price wide format and sign jobs without having to buy another software for that part of my business.
Report writing is difficult and dependent on EFI to build.

Consistency is key and changes have been made, glitches repaired.
It has served our purpose since day one. We have been able to work with every upgrade and know that if we have a problem, it's addressed in a good amount of time.
I'm the office manager and I have been the key person using reports. I'm anxious about changes, but have learned to manipulate the system to my satisfaction.

Once it is learned and completely integrated within our system it will be a really good business tool.
It is fairly easy to use and mostly intuitive to teach.
It is different enough from the original desktop version of PrintSmith that it takes some time to become proficient at using it daily.

Overall experience is much better than Printsmith Legacy was.
I like Prinstmith Vision for the quick visibility of status of jobs, tracking of production locations, ease of creating PO's that link to customer Invoices. It has a lot of great features.
It's slow and tends to crash a lot. Have issues using it from certain browsers or computers and no one can figure out why.
