A little frustrating.
Ease of use. Love that when I need to look up a customer's history, it's quick.
Slow and the invoice and estimate screens get mixed up. Looking at pending documents, invoices and when I click on the invoice tab, it'll show estimates. I then have to go back to the home screen and go back into the pending documents and click on the invoice tab and it'll be correct.

I used the original PrintSmith for 18 years and loved it. Vision is slower, less responsive, the daily reports were changed drastically, especially the register tape, and can't be modified. It was very time consuming and difficult to get the invoices and statements to print similar to the ones that I used to print from PrintSmith. It is difficult to speak with a customer service representative, everything has to be submitted through email and the response time is too slow.
Not much. For an upgrade, it is not as user friendly as the original PrintSmith.
Too slow and the reports can't be modified. The original PrintSmith was much more user friendly.

The experience has been good.
Converitng from Classic to Vision provides us freedom to work from anywhere.
It is just a matter of getting used to. The updates come in a hurry and you have to do your best to stay current.

We have had this for well over 15 years now. It meets our needs, however as the world is moving towards a more digital print production method, Printsmith is still highly geared to an offset press world. More of our work is coming from plotters (large format), digital presses, and so forth. We also do very little collating and bindery offline compared to offset press.
Ease of implementation and upgrading, we run it on a VM
The latest release took away some features we liked in the older version, such as printing the sheet to show the operator the best cut illustration for cutting pages out. The reporting also isn't great

be able to e-mail reciepts, invoice, statements on line. Need still running Parallel with PS. trying to learn more about it.
I used PS for over 10 years. PSV was not desing were ground zero. IT Was assamble by putting punch third parties application togther. it need a lots of improvements, lots of functions that were avaiable and make it easy to run cashvregister are missing, report writer is a disaster and is accent apllication in computer field.

Many of the same functionality we have used in PS Classic & Legacy. Well organized on the screens & buttons mostly.
Training videos & manual are horrendous. Many of th functions are "hidden", hard to find or figure out as a new user, its coming along but parts are frustrating

Legacy is similar to Classic. Familiarity is key in a conversion. I consider this change to Fast Track a conversion not an update as it is very different from Classic which we have used for 20 years
IT is incomplete. Very detailed which causes some confusion. Hoping it is more easily understandable when it upgrades to version 5.0 and we are no longer told to do things in legacy versus fast track

unhappy, I can not charge jobs per square foot, but only inches.
