Pros

Having this software helps our facility team have a great overview of events in the near future and a great glimpse of things coming up to anticipate.
Espace is a fantastic, user-friendly facility management software system. The customer service is outstanding.
Been awesome working with the Customer Service team as well. Quick responses to my questions and always open to suggestions for making the program work best to fit my needs.

Pros

I am not paid by them, but I would recommend them to any company. I have been in Manufacturing for just over 30 years, and this is the best software for this I have seen.
The reporting is great, it’s easy for me to make the detailed reports I need and see how we’re doing. On top of all this, the support staff is so nice and very responsive to any questions I have.
Overall the company has been very good to work with. They are very responsive to questions and issues, and have been there every step of the implementation.

Cons

ESpace is sometimes difficult to use across a variety of different platforms and devices. Outdated devices will have trouble interfacing with it.
The calendar section of the website. Sometimes it can be confusing.
Inability to select all rooms with one click when scheduling a building closure. It takes extra time to individually select each room for a closure.

Cons

These problems that belong to SchoolDude are truly having a negative impact here.
Some of the reports are a bit difficult to create. It might just be me that needs more training on it.
My only complaint would be the hierarchy of some of the items is unclear. I am very much a visual person.

Overly complex and time-consuming

Pros

Great tool for a company or facility that needs asset forecasting for budgeting. ERP that integrates event planning with work order management.

Cons

Unless you have someone entirely devoted to managing/administrating, it is too bulky for a small team and requires much more time to manage, thus decreasing efficiency .

eSpace is better than our previous room management software

So far I have liked it compared to our previous software.

Pros

I like that it is fairly intuitive and the functions are self explanatory.

Cons

I don't like that when someone inputs a recurring event, it blocks them all together into a single request even if the event happens on different days of the week. I also think the asset management could be a little more detailed.

Charley: Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the recurring events, have you looked at how to manage them under the AVAILABILITY tab? This may be a useful option. Also, we will be releasing a new feature set after the first of the year called Asset and Inventory Management. This will be a much more robust set of features including bar coding. Reduced chaos

We are a church that has grown considerably over the last few years, and our facility needs have grown and become more complex along with that growth. Until we implemented the eSpace management software, maintenance requests were on hand written slips, often misplaced, and therefore unaddressed. There was no easay, reliable tracking of asset maintenance and lifespan. We are finally getting these things under tighter control, which, in the long run, should result in savings of time and money.

Pros

Puts all my maintenance requests in one location, and allows me to prioritize, schedule, comment, and determine/edit the status of each work order easily.

Cons

No barcode/QR code scanning/tracking of assets...yet.

Pros

We have been very pleased with the transition over to eSpace. The software has helped us to be much more effective across six campus locations and managing work requests that originate from our 150+ clients. The Preventative Maintenance function makes future planning easy so that I can focus on the proactive responsibilities of my job, rather than trying to remember when the boiler inspection is...

Cons

The cons more come from our side in that so many functions are available to us that we under utilize for the betterment of our facilities. Without much time spent within the software, it can feel overwhelming. But this in no way reflects our overall satisfaction of the product.
