At this point we utilize what we need and don't use any of the fancy things that were created for the large practices.
Covetrus migrated us from Evetpractice when they created Pulse.
Internet response time has slowed down. Also seems to slow down even more after our recorded closing time of 5:00 pm. Seems you don't allow any response for the last question about integration other than Covetrus Prescription Management.

My experience with Covetrus Pulse has been satisfying. I am happy with the choice to use it in my practice.
I like the interface of Covetrus Pulse, I find it visually appealing and very intuitive and easy to use.
I especially feel limited in the types of reports I can run to evaluate the business. The billing/invoice features need fine tuning also.

Whiteboard is useless. Unable to easily and quickly locate next appointments that are scheduled. Having to log in with both name and password each time - big PIA! Need to go back to pin numbers for log in.

Intuitive and easy to use, user-friendly interface, customizable and includes most necessary features in base price

My overall experience with eVetPractice has been good. They are communicative with any issues and the support team is highly knowledgable and quick to get a hold of.
eVetPractice has an amazing support team and structure. Covetrus as a whole is easy to work with and they answered and addressed all our questions and concerns throughout the process.
It does require quite a few clicks to be able to access certain features and things. Could be more streamlined.

Mostly positive, only in recent months has it become less positive with the slow downs and pieces of it not working.
It's easy to use, good value for the money, and user friendly.
For the past year the software is extremely slow, lags and has been down multiple times. The Covetrus orders is often down and not working as well.

Overall, Covetrus Pulse was an easy transition from paper to paperless and we only expect it to get better with move tailoring to our business.
Covetous Pulse is easy to learn and use right out of the gate. There are some tweaks needed, but their on line help is quick and efficient. If it is not already in an article to follow, a representative is quick and effective to solving the problem or with advice.
Integration was quite easy as an end user. Cut and paste and some calendar issues can be simplified or added to assist in daily scheduling. Least liked though is the invoicing when there is a balance, or open balances.

I like the fact that Covetrus is so tech-forward. I can move around my clinic, use different devices, and still be up to date with my patients' most recent information.
This software has improved greatly over the time that i have been using it. I think improving the integration with the prescription software, so that it flows more smoothly, would be very helpful, but that's the only improvement that I can think of!

I see absolutely no change for the better now that eVet is called Covetrus Pulse. We have been promised so many "enhancements" over the years, and have gotten not a single thing that we've requested to make our jobs easier with this software. Covetrus took over and is attempting to make it look pretty like the competitor ezVet, but it's not working. We may actually be changing to ezVet soon.
The price is great. The scheduling module is very user friendly. Reminders are accurate.
Managing records, client communications, and invoicing could all be better. I also hate that when we ask for a specific improvement, Covetrus tells us we can submit an "enhancement request" for the software team to take into consideration. We've submitted countless "enhancement requests" over the last 4 years of using them, and literally NONE of them have been granted. Instead we get unwanted "updates" such as the screen being outlined in pink/blue to indicate the patient gender, the appointment calaendar now has the times along the side of schedule(nobody needed this, the times are on the appt slots when you hover over them), and the removal of the original whiteboard to be replaced by a "tasks" list that does not work the same way.

Having a dependable cloud based program allows us to work efficiently anywhere. The ability and ease of Covetrus (VFC), Idexx & Antech to easily pair and report directly into evet has been phenomenal.
We LOVE the portability of the software. Being 100% mobile allows us to be anywhere and use evet.
The inability to easily change to allow online access to our clients.

Overall, my experience is positive. I do not, however, recommend this product to others because of the processing integration and the problems I have generating reports. My previous software which was owned by Covetrus did a better job generating reports.
Overall, Pulse is easy to use. The day-to-day operation is straightforward and therefore it helps our client flow through the exam rooms. It is easy to write up medical records and to generate prescriptions for medications that are dispensed in house. Our lab station is integrated which makes things so much easier.
I do not like the change of integration with our payment processor. We like our current processor and are disappointed that the they are no longer an integrated option. I feel this was a change from our original agreement. Pulse often takes a long time to generate reports and many of my year-end reports had to be divided up into 3-4 month increments to get all of the information I needed.I also feel the integration with Covetrus for ordering and inventory management is cumbersome so I do not use that feature.

love it.
Easy to navigate. We like that all the clients/ patient information is there together. Love all the different integrations that goes with it (I.E Covetrus Pharmacy, rapport) and love that is is cloud based and we don't have to rely on a server.
We least like the boarding, seems to be more step when checking out clients.

I was really attracted to this software for the ease of us, the screens are very easy to navigate. My new staff catches on in no time.
Since being bought by Covetrus there seems to be more outages than previously. They also need to implement a back door use for when the server does crash to at least allow use of the software.

Software is easy to use but performance issues continue to be a problem.
Easy to use. Training is fast and simple.
Consistent speed issues Pules is fully aware of. Been going on for years and I have to complain to upper management before problems are addressed. Starts out once or twice a week until it becomes a daily issue. None stop debates with support when its a know issue. Other bugs in software that have been issues for years are not addressed. None of this was a problem before Covetrus purchased from Evet.

Great experience and safe client/patient data use. Wonderful interaction with IT staff.
We started with evetpractice and it has since evolved into Covetrus. Customer service is great and respond in a timely fashion. Updates are also great that are constantly being done to improve the system. Cloud based mean we can also access records anywhere and at any time.
I wish requests for updates or improvements were responded to to find out if it’s even a possibility to implement. There are some that would be simple changes that could help everyday employees with Covetrus use. The sign ins can be tedious but understand the importance for security. Also if we lose internet and being beach property occurs on occasion and we lose access to records.

Pros: Cloud base accessibility, easy to navigate, reminder system and inventory system is great, Appointment Management, Billing & Invoicing, Boarding Management, Image Storage, Inventory Management, Patient Records, Prescription Labeling, Reminders, SOAP Notes, Treatment Management Cons: No clickable physical exam screen to record normal/abnormal findings that then shows on patient record, , not integrating with IDEXX ref lab, not able to email documents/lab results scanned or saved in evet as a document straight from evet, most often need to restart PC to have lab work from Abaxis vetscan transferred. Can't owners sign on a treatment plan unless it is an estimate; Can't make packages from smaller packages, would like to see more features in reporting,

Evetpractice is a good general software system if you are willing to set aside being heard and ignored for things that you suggest to be updated. It works but has much that can be approved upon.
Its easy ability to quickly learn using the software. It has many features that are essential to veterinary practices. The customer services is generally good. Its nice to be able to access the software with any device that has internet.
The system and updates seem to have declined since Covetrus purchased it. Update are slow, issues arise alot more then before and customer service has started to decline. Many times we have asked for assistance and the agents have seemed annoyed. Requests for updates that are crucial seem to not be as important as they used to be. Its confusing because the Covetrus also owns several other veterinary software programs that have been around a very long time. Those programs have many of the options that are needed for this software yet they are not available on this system. I think there is much to be desired since the software was sold to larger company that values it customers less.

Overall the software is fairly intuitive and has helped our practice get up and running faster than others we considered. Technical support is wonderful. The software has features yet is not so complex it is difficult to learn.
The software is fairly intuitive and easier to use than most others we demo'd when starting our practice. One of the most critical things and best thing about Covetrus Pulse is the ability to get technical support easily. Their technical support staff is friendly, competent, and will explain things in an easily understood way. Integrations with other software such as Antech, Worldpay, and Home Again also work well.
1) The limitation of only working with old, no longer available version of the Dymo Label Writer is ridiculous. The technical needs really needs to fix this problem to make this product continue to be usable. It should be able to function with more current, readily accessible versions of Dymo Label Writers. 2) Some of the quirks that require workarounds are not intuitive for the staff as they are not software savvy. As an IT person I find it easy but most practices would require an IT person to understand, setup and explain some of the quirks. Releases are misleading also as many just provide an explanation as to what the team thought the input meant, which indicates they do not have an understanding of how the issues affect users.

It is easy to use and when you have issues figuring something out, the customer service chat is quick and patient to help
I really like the lice chat option. This helps with quick questions and answers that could take up more time if needing to wait for a manager or administrator. I like that you can do custom colors for different exam types so at quick glance you can see what your day looks like
the inventory management that it pulls from expiration dates instead of FIFO.

We are new practice owners and switched from old DOS based practice software to eVetPractice which made tremendous difference in running the practice, in the flow of work! We made staff happy and clients as everything happens much faster end more efficient, billing, med. prescription, etc. The program is fast, accessible from any place and most of all the customer support and tech support is stellar. We do not even have to call, all the questions are answered via inside chat! Very modern, effective and simply the best!

Overall good. Cloud based is the way to go. I like the ability to sign in from anywhere.
Appointments scheduling is easy. I do wish you were able to search next available appoint per doctor. This would save an incredible amount of time.
The report options can be improved greatly. Consulting with a veterinary management group would be helpful to create what is needed.

Overall, I'm fairly satisfied. I believe eVet is working to improve but I may have been expecting more than what I should have been.
Integration was fairly smooth but getting used to the program was difficult. The fact that we were still using paper-heavy solutions at the time actually helped. The cloud-based process is good. Updates from eVet are easy and frequent. The customer service is responsive and easy. I like the ability of customer service to go into the software to see exactly what we are having problems with. I think it is, overall, pretty intuitive.
The practice management reports are not great. I think Avimark has great practice management reports. Since both programs are owned by the same company I would have thought that eVet would have investigated Avimarks best parts and modeled after them. I love the fact that you offer a voting process for requested updates but the process is a bit confusing to me.

Covetrus and the customer service are wonderful
I love that clients are assured that the products are legitimate and do not have to worry that they are getting fraudulent medications. It is easy to navigate for us in clinic and for clients. I like that we can help clients with their accounts if needed.
I do not like that we can not change/update the doctor on prescription requests before approving/declining. There are often times were a client will choose the wrong doctor when requesting medication and then that doctor will not know the request is for them. It can get confusing. It would also be nice if auto-ship prescription requests were a different color. Like when a client has a product on autoship and we have declined it every month for 4 months. It would be nice to know if it were on autoship or if the owner really is asking for it every month. If we could catch it at the beginning we would waste less time on researching if the prescription can be approved.

Covetrus has been a great resource for many years.
Being able to approve requests online so that the clients receive their product quicker is nice. The auto ship option is a great bonus for clients.
Not being able to approve an "expired" rx is not user friendly. It takes a lot of time for us to re-enter what is already there.
Happy that you find the AutoShip feature helps make it easy for pet owners to keep their pets happy and healthy. Thanks also for your feedback regarding expired Rx prescriptions, great insight.

The Covetrus team is friendly and easy to work with.
We love that it integrates with Cornerstone. When a client requests/fills a prescription we are able to see when it shipped and quantity. We don't have to check records and then enter data
It is difficult to stop a refill prescription that should not be sent due to different reasons (not valid VCPR). It seems that once a client has it on auto ship it continues to ship unless it is called into Covetrus.

I like the program and system. We use it daily and it is easier than reaching out to human pharmacies.
The backend option for prescribers is helpful and easy to use.
I HATE how the automatic emails come from my hospital instead of Covetrus. It basically makes people blame me for pharmacy issues and doubles my staffs work load trying to answer questions that need to go through Covetrus customer service. The app has limited usefulness.

They offer communication vehicles to make Rx management easier and less expensive for your clients and the integration with our software is a must-have.
The integration with Cormerstone was the primary reason we started using Covetrus; excellent customer service is why we stayed
Periodically there are hiccups with orders and renewals, but customer service always makes things right. I think that's all you can ask for from a business partner

Having to switch to curbside posed many issues. Covetrus Prescription Management helped cushion the blow.
I like how easy Covetrus Prescription Management is to use. It was a breeze to setup and maintaining prescriptions through this platform is easy for our staff, including some not-so-computer-savvy receptionists.
Navigating through patient clipboards and prescriptions can be somewhat difficult if one us prone to using the back button.

Overall we are happy with using Covetrus and they have all of the products we need for our patients.
The website is very user friendly for our team and our clients. It's very nice to cut down on phone usage and just use the portal to authorize and enter scripts.
Clients can change the quantity of the medication we prescribed. This is very frustrating because our hospital policy is to only prescribe a certain amount of medication and when the client sees they can get more quantity for a better price they always choose that, which often leads to frustration when our hospital declines it. Clients should not be able to adjust the quantity or prescription medications prescribed.

Mostly, I love Covetrus. I do wish there was better communication between Covetrus and the compounding pharmacy. I like that we can place orders for compounded medications through Covetrus. It seems like there is a breakdown in communication when a product is not available or is on backorder. I would like to be kept in the loop along with the client about their pet's medications. We are the ones they will call in frustration when a medication is not available.
We like to give our clients a safe alternative for their pet's online pharmacy needs. With so many other pharmacies popping up, we know we can trust Covetrus. The software integrates into our veterinary software and we can see all of the prescriptions that are sent to our patients.
I do wish there was a way to combine duplicate accounts. Often times, a client will have multiple accounts in error because the spouse originally signed up, email addresses change, forgot they had an account already, or just sign up for another account because they are unable to recover previous log in information.

My only quibble is how many times Covetrus is in and out of our checking account. It is impossible to balance.
Giving our clients the online experience while still being able to help guide the owner to the appropriate choice. Not just what they see on sale

Overall, using Covetrus has help our practice to generate more revenue back to us with much more ease.
What i like most is that it automatically integrates in with our practice software. Easy to see just by looking at our software vs. having to go to site or add separately.
This does not show on our side when a prescription was declined or cancelled.
