Over the past two years, we've had a great experience with OneCause. We loved our day-of team - their help and expertise was invaluable during the event.
The silent auction management feature is why we purchased the software.
We will always do ticketing through our website, but it would be great to integrate that info into OneCause somehow. It would certainly save me a few steps.

The customer service has been phenomenal and we now have a lot of the features in our Blackbaud software but continue to use the functionality of the event s and text to give
I really enjoy the event management software and the auction piece of it
WE had to run reports and manually enter which is the biggest downfall.

OneCause was very easy to work with on our first online auction. Someone always quickly got back to me if I emailed questions.
The software was very easy to manipulate. Uploading photos and managing our online auction was very quick and simple.
I did not like the fact that a bidder could not enlarge a photo. While they could zoom in their computer or cell phone, they could not actually enlarge photos of our auction items.
Love that we could partner with you for your first online auction, Mollie! We're constantly adding improvements to create the best user experience - thank you for the feedback!

I would say that overall the end-user experience has been good with minimal complaints and confusion. The back-end for these systems is very confusing and takes a lot of technology understanding, Googling, calling the help center, and trial and error. There was a lot of frustration in our office as we navigated setting up the system (both years, because we unfortunately had to learn an entirely new system this year from the one we learned last year). I am so glad the events went well and the end-users were pleased with the experience, but the set-up was definitely hard to navigate. I hope the new VEC is more set-up friendly, and will integrate more of the OneCause products into one location.
The end-user experience was seamless and fairly easy to navigate. Our donors were impressed and excited about the interactivity and the ability to participate in the silent auction and get reminders right on their phones. We hosted an event last year in-person and used the Mobile Bidding Software for our silent auction, and our revenue was significantly increased because of the engagement. We then used the Virtual Event Software for an entirely virtual event this year including a silent and live auction and appeal. The engagement was great, and our live auction went far better than expected.
The fact that the Mobile Bidding Software (MBS) and the Virtual Event Center (VEC) do not integrate and the VEC was still under construction make it hard to leave a review for what I liked least. But in terms of the MBS; the software is not very intuitive and there are a lot of areas where I didn't like having to duplicate my process (like in the item vs. package). The reports you could run at the end using the MBS were really helpful, but the VEC had hardly any options for reporting and we had to create a lot of our own reports, which was incredibly time consuming. The lack of ticketing functionality in the VEC led us to use the MBS for ticketing only and then we had to comp every single ticket individually because the VEC did not allow us to upload a csv file for all of our comped tickets. There are a lot of pieces that can be improved in the VEC but they are planning to improve them as they continue to build the software. More knowledge about the system in the "help center" and "knowledge bank" would have been really great.

Support team was ultra helpful and made me feel like they cared about the success of our auction just as much as I did!
This year was my first year running our school auction. OneCause software was extremely easy to use despite having ZERO experience.
Honestly, everything was a pro. If I had to make one change, I would request a way to keep a database of companies that donated items for the auction to facilitate sending out thank you cards and to make it easier for a new person in charge to pick up where I left off.

Our silent auction proceeds doubled.
We found that OneCause was very intuitive and easy to use. When we did run into questions, we found on-line chat and other support was excellent. The technology was also easy for our guests to use.
We would like to have a software that was more vigorous for a live auction. We found that because the software was geared toward silent auctions, it was lacking in some of the functions we needed for our other points of purchase.

For the cost, there should be an option for in person communication. The training videos are outdated. Considering the amount of time that the sales person spent with us, we expected the help team to do the same.

I’ve used onecause for the last few years and it has been a strong experience. We have also used the in person option which was ok and this year we opted to not use it and it was fine

This software was invaluable in providing the timely access to bidding on our fundraiser. We had over 500 packages available and over 5000 total bids. The scoreboards were easily integrated into the video displays and AV equipment. This software assisted in a volunteer group pulling off a very professional silent auction and live auction.
I appreciate the checklist and the tutorial videos. The tools to build an engaging fundraising interface are intuitive and capable.
The import tools are very handy but they do not yet contain full functionality. A second import of updated supporters actually creates a second entry rather than an update to an existing entry.

I'd love to see the ability to add more photos per auction item, better promotional tools for sharing auction and items across social media, as well as ability to have multiple categories per items.

Wonderful customer service that Is very knowledgeable, easily accessible and always willing to help.
The online auction feature is pretty robust and fairly user friendly.
The reporting feature needs more customization, especially for reports around event tickets/attendance. Also, the package load needs to be able to support formatting, specifically line and paragraph breaks.

Overall, OneCause has revolutionized our events. I utilize nearly every feature it offers, from the dashboard to the reports. It not only saves me time and keeps me organized but also instills confidence in our audience.
What I love most about OneCause is how it has transformed our silent auction from paper to mobile. It's enabled us to reach a wider audience and significantly increase our silent auction proceeds.
Instead of enhancing their existing platform, OneCause opted to develop a completely new one. However, when I attempted to use the new platform, it didn't provide the functionality we required.

The overall event went well and exceeded last year's fundraising goals. With the cost of the software, their share of the funds raised, and the credit card fees, we ended up about where we were last year without an app.
OneCause was easy for end-users to bid and pay online.
Organizing the auction items with images was time consuming even with the import features.

Ease of use. Once I got past a couple hiccups, the system was great and the customer support from both tech support and client account manager was excellent

Full functionality! Everything we needed to host a creative and virtual fundraising event was included. Customer support was superb, and we even hired a Virtual Event Manager who was REMARKABLE. She helped make our event a huge success! The online auction capabilities were seamless and easy to use!

Overall, the customer service team and designated rep are very responsive and helpful.
Love having an event manager and key rep to get us set-up prior to our event. The platform is pretty easy to use and is generally intuitive.
When integrating the ticket function into our event and using OneCause as a registration platform in addition to a silent auction/donate feature, payments for auction items automatically synced with outstanding tickets/tables that were entered as pledges.
Our Event Managers are game changers! So glad you got to utilize this tool to help you raise more, Alexis!
