Thanks to Katana I can always manage the materials and products of my warehouse in the best way and keep the purchases and sales under control.
It is easy to learn and to use and in case of need the support is always ready to solve any problem. Absolutely recommended.
It is a young project and therefore some features are to be implemented, but there are no shortcomings that make the platform unusable.
Thank you for taking the journey to grow together! Thanks for sharing your experience!

Katana helped me to move my team from using Excel-based planning to a web-based platform. It is easy to use and was easily adopted by my team. Team Katana has been helpful in proving some work-around for some features not available in Katana.
Katana is an easy to use platform that suits most of my needs for planning and scheduling.

It is very good, it allows me to have a complete vision of my business and make informed decisions based on the updated data.
It's great because with this platform, I have the ability to efficiently manage my inventory, work orders, scheduling and tracking, very good all in one place.
I think they could improve is in the flexibility of customization. Although it offers a wide range of features, sometimes I would like to be able to further customize certain aspects according to the specific needs of my business.

Katana's platform is very user friendly with great functionality of inventory management. I especially appreciate it's 'Make to Batch' functionality which allows for users to track pre-produced products and allowing for future drawdowns.
Would be great if we're able to see produced product's inventory at glance based on existing available ingredients

We were able to implement Katana as our central point for our entire software stack. Each piece of software gets its orders and data from Katana. Normally, I would be hesitant to put any of the software that small business sees on a daily basis into this important position. I had no issue putting Katana into this position.
This software has a fantastic feel to make working in it incredibly efficient. As a person that works with software/web design/development, I can appreciate the attention paid to this incredibly complex platform.
There isn't much we don't like. Most of the small things are already in the development cycle and they include small things like being able to customize Katana a bit more for our specific needs. Column order, custom fields, field mapping of API connections, etc.

We make to order and we make to stock. We make standardized products and we also make private label custom products. Katana is the first platform I have found that supports what we do while also being affordable for a new business.
Katana delivers a lot of value. It fully covers my MRP needs while being affordable to a scaling business.
I would also like an option to dropship the products that I make for clients and I don't see a way to do that.
Thank you for the feedback and support!

Katana has been an asset to our inventory management and production planning. Previously, we were using QuickBooks desktop to manage all inventory. Katana has streamlined our production planning and made it overall more efficient. We have not yet implemented tasks and assigned employees to certain builds, but we appreciate that there is room to grow as we continue to use the system. We continue to use QuickBooks desktop as a separate operating system for accounting purposes and can easily do journal entries to input inventory quantities. We are looking forward to the multi-currency platform Katana will hopefully have soon.
It is intuitive and easy to implement. I like that you can prioritize builds so if we are short on product I can customize which particular build for it to go to.
I wish we could add materials to sales orders. Sometimes we sell different parts and it would be nice to add those to a sales order.

Just completed the free 14 day trial of Katana and have now begun a paid subscription. It took a few days and a bit of frustration to manually add all our products, ingredients, recipes, and current pending wholesale orders from outside of shopify, but having the shopify integration helped a lot. We use three different wholesale platforms (Faire, tundra & Abound), none of which offer automated third...
Glitches with accurate purchase prices showing up in overall product list. Described it to customer service and they denied it being a problem. That’s the only problem I’ve encountered so far. Tbh on customer support quality.
Hi! Thank you for your feedback and we'll make sure to work out any glitches that have occurred along the way. Happy making!

I am tracking inventory variances through the cycle count, to better assess the root causes, as well as ensure we are tracking for the deadlines.
It helps get the job done and track the status., I also like the notes field that helps you add better notes for items.
Some fields once created and submitted can be edited later, which is a draw back. I also don't like that you have to go back in and set the due date, and not when you are creating a dispatch.

I like how easy it is to search dispatch activity on the production lines. We also use the inventory control system for spare parts, which is very helpful.

Spare management, Spare history report is one of the excellent trackings to review and analyze the usage trend. This helps us to identify the inventory holding cost, and parts utilization by area or department.
Part Category- require below min level and at min level option selection. Already notify the L2L team on this task- In progress. This function will help the user to directly select the specified part category during register the part into the L2L system. During Order Parts, easy to identify the required part to place an order.

The user-friendly OS and the settings system The Cloud dispatch option which is a good dashboard. The Notification group - a new feature is really helpfulSpares management is also having good tracking systemThe response for any queries is quicker - only mail response
1. The E-Kanban loading / Re-distribution takes a lot of time since we have 70+ lines2. The fixing of issues takes a really longer time, and few queries are closed without re-solving the issue3. The History must be improved. It only shows the user ID who modified last. But it must show what did the user has changed4. The Support / response for developing new items are very poor5. The Kaizen module does not recognize duplication of suggestions6. The scheduler module can be improvised

I have really enjoyed working with this system. It is one of the easiest systems I have used. I like the fact that we can bring in new team members and in a really short time. They are off and running using it to do their daily jobs. It has allowed us to have good data to be able to show and make good business decisions.
This system is easy to use and to train too. Everything is live up to the minute. We use this for our spares inventory, pm scheduling and our planning process. We have enjoyed the document center. This has allowed us to have information at the job at our finger tips. Without the need to chase drawings, manuals and so many other things. Getting support from L2L has been easy too. They let you see and they always let you know where your request is. The support team is alway making updates to help make the system work better.
At times the updates causes in house tem members pain. Not all users get notified that updates will be happening or have occurred.
